Gauranga Das is a spiritual guru & monk, leader, and firm believer of Lord Krishna. He's an IIT graduate and worked for the Kirloskars before joining ISKON, Mumbai.
In this clip, I ask him some of the questions you guys sent on Twitter. Also, I share a story from Autobiography of a Yogi that taught me that there can be various paths to discovering yourself.

Yogananda ji says, "Everything else can wait but your search for God can not wait."

So true.. And moreover living in a human form, the possibilities to reach god is so much more. But we are driven by other temptations... What a waste of our lives

@@Rayuga99 the human life gives you the power of distinguishing between good and bad, use the right knowkedge to do desireless action. In human body you have a chance to rewite your path to salvation. Again for Man he can be his best feiend or be his own enemy.. it is the choices we make that will either make us like Yogananda or a fallen human being.
As human being you havs the power to think, use your intelligence and be a Karma yogi and attain salvation in this life. The choice ia ours..

    Dang....
THIS morning I was retrospectively thinking of myself about possible spiritual ego..
I have been reading this book over last few months. I JUST read that chapter and page containing three hermits story, TODAY evening.
After two hours, in bed, I opened TH-cam and this is the FIRST video showed up, AND this guy mentions the SAME story.
    What a timing and coincidence!
Probably the reality in not the way we think.

Advaita(MAYAVAD, non -dualism)and Vaishnavism(Dualism)are two completely seperate belief system of the Vedic scriptures. Yogananda Paramahamsa followed the path of Advaita Vedanta (Mayvad philosophy) which is highly opposed by the Vaishnavas since they follow Dvaita Vedanta/Achintya Bheda bhed tattva, but Gauranga Das being a Vaishnava is so open minded to the stories of other great people from other sampradays, which can be clearly seen, but I do not see this kind of behaviour from other people though. People need to come up together and openly discuss about the similarities and differences and we get to know so much ❤️. Also during the Vedic time period their used to be SHASTRATH(debates) between scholars which used to be so deep, like a big battle of wits..😮😮

iskcon doesn't blindly promote any self made sadhu which are not from any bonafide sampradaya otherwise iskcon greatly acknowledge and glorify the glorious acharyas from other sampradaya also like sri pad ramujacharya, adi guru shankracharya, nimbarkacharya etc....

@@maanis9310no they don't. They call Shakanracharya's teachings 'bogus'. And who defines what's bona fide sampradaya anyways? Anyone can claim anything. They wouldn't even call themselves Hindus. Gaudiya vaishnavism is purely Puranic, based on Smriti, not Sruti
