People read these passages in their Bible, then come to the internet to try and illegitimize them. You can’t bend the Bible around your own ideology. Truth is, these women have no intention of submitting to a man, and hate the idea of it. But if you are going to be a Christian woman, then you are to submit to a man, and if your man submits to god then there shouldn’t be a problem. If you can’t find a man to differ to, then you should be celibate. Obviously and unfortunately I don’t expect secular women to behave like this, but if you are going to be a Christian then stop trying to find a way around it. This is a straightforward passage. I’m tired of people playing the definition game with passages that they don’t like. Truth is, a lot of pastors will do this because they don’t want to upset their female members because of good old fashioned 💰 There are plenty of women that convert to Christianity due to guilt from their past. They are drawn to the forgiveness aspect, but refuse to accept other Christian obligations. You can’t cherry pick the path to salvation. Christian Men submit to God, Christian Women submit to Men and God. Children submit to both parents and God. Homosexuality and other forms of sodomy are not permitted by god. Polyamory is not permitted under god. Drug abuse and crime is not permitted under god. Obviously nobody is perfect and you will probably fail at some of these, the problem lies in not accepting that these are sins. Do your best, and repent when you sin.

I just find that so much of the church threw out the Bible, and doesn't fully believe it. 1 Corinthians 11:3 says, “The head of every man is Christ, and the head of the woman is man, and the head of Christ is God.” If a Christian women is to seek after an equally yoked man of the Christian faith, then she is to submit to his male authority over her, and her future children. A society in which men are not taught to be the leaders, and women are taught to be the leaders, is a weak society, and will crumble, for the men will not want the women, and the women will not want the men, and the men shall want after other men, and women after other women, and strange beasts, i.e. dogs, and the like. We know this to be true. If you don't know this to be true, then you're either too young, and naive, or are blinded by God, because God makes fools of the worldly wisemen, and praises those who have child like faith, in God's wisdom.

    Ephesians 5:15
See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise,
    1 Peter 5:8
Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:

Christ is both source and head of all, save his own God, Father, Source and Head. Few women (in countries that apply) will submit to this teaching unless their government removes women’s rights to own property and vote. Proverbs 29.19

Yup, and the men who gave women the right to vote, didn't honor, nor know their Bibles, because they wouldn't have done that had they been faithful. Furthermore the stupid racists who were trying to prevent men of other ethnic backgrounds to vote, didn't see their true rivals, which were women and not men, for Adam's rival in the garden was Eve, and not God, nor the serpent, but Adam believed everyone but God, and likewise did Eve.

    1 Peter 3:6 Amplified Bible
6 just as Sarah obeyed Abraham [following him and having regard for him as head of their house], calling him [a]lord. And you have become her daughters if you do what is right without being frightened by any fear [that is, being respectful toward your husband but not giving in to intimidation, nor allowing yourself to be led into sin, nor to be harmed].
    Footnotes
1 Peter 3:6 In ancient times a common title of honor and respect.

[4:129] *You can never be equitable in dealing with more than one wife, no matter how hard you try.* Therefore, do not be so biased as to leave one of them hanging (neither enjoying marriage, nor left to marry someone else). If you correct this situation and maintain righteousness, GOD is Forgiver, Most Merciful.

Verse 11 is speaking to the gathering of God's people. Verse 12 shifts to the relationships within the marriage.

Head means responsibility and liability. - too many people simply think it is about power. Imaging you are a military commander sending your troops into battle, knowing many won't come home alive and you have to deal with the fallen soldiers mothers... Funny that many women have no problem respecting their incompetent boss but have trouble respecting their husbands...I have no problem to let my wife be liable and responsible for all the decisions in the house if God clearly calls wives to be the head. - I will submit just as I submit to my boss at work.

7 ... God’s glory is man made in his image, and man’s glory is the woman. 1 Corinthians 11:7 (TLB)
    1 Corinthians 11:10
So a woman should wear a covering on her head as a sign that she is under man’s authority, a fact for all the angels to notice and rejoice in.*
    Footnotes:
1 Corinthians 11:10 So a woman . . . is under man’s authority, literally, “For this cause ought the woman to have power on [her] head.” a fact for all the angels to notice and rejoice in, literally, “because of the angels.”

Whatever the interpretation, the metaphor’s relevancy is limited to the time and culture and the governing Family Code. Just as slavery was part of the culture then. Today neither applies. What does apply is mutual submission and mutual love.

*2 Peter 1:20 - Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation.*
Nobody in heaven cares what your view is. Any view other than to believe the words is treason against the King.
These false teachers try to use their "views" to convince the weak that words do not mean what they mean.
Just remember if head does not mean authority in respect to the man over the woman. It does not mean authority in respect to Christ over men, nor God over Christ.
It is the SAME metaphor for all.
