Zach you are awesome. I've seen you several times in Austin. Sorry Lee was kind of a jackass in this interview. You conducted yourself very professionally though.
What a fantastic blues/soul voice Zach Person has! If there is any justice in this world Zach is destined to be a mega star in the blues genre. Captain, your blues playing and tone in the intro song was worthy of any blues guitarist - even Eric C!
About the RAT: the goal of the creators was to achieve a Marshall with a Fuzzface sound. And THEY NAILED IT. THAT'S THE MAGIC OF THAT PEDAL. Love it to the bone.
I needed to hear this wisdom! Learn how to play quick first? And focus on intricacies later? 15 year journey glad to know there are others with that wall! Motivational video i am glad was made! Thank you!
David Gilmour is another guitarist that used the Proco Rat for singing blues tone, and Jeff Beck too. Love the Rat. On the subject of always-on fuzz, that can clean up nicely, Zach mentioned the fuzz face. And they do that very well, particularly like the recent blue big box Jim Dunlop Jimi Hendrix fuzzface. But then I got the Pedal Pawn Fuzz, and I liked that even better again. It's _that_ sound, especially with a Strat on neck pickup.
As a fellow Cackalacky native, it's refreshing to see a local-boy-done-good story I haven't heard before. Since I had no idea who Zach was or where he came from, I was half expecting a London accent when he started talking, and was pleasantly surprised to find he speaks a version of English that I don't need subtitles for. EDIT: That box with the deLorean on the corner. That has to be some kind of tape delay? (The deLorean time machine is a nice visual cue; I like to think time-based effects like delay and reverb might have been invented by The Doctor a few centuries too early.) I realize it isn't in use in this video, but I think it deserves a spotlight at some time.
Zach Person is fantastic! I was blown away when I saw him the first time in Austin. I can't wait to see him at ACL. Nice interview. You might want to do a bit more research on your guests before they show up. I usually like Andertons interviews, but they seemed a bit underprepared for Zach's awesomeness.
This young gentleman needs to listen to some Free, with Paul Rogers and Paul Kossoff. Now there is some great added inspiration for him to think about and digest! I can see Zach getting a lot from these classic musical giants.
Loving the Gibson Jr , Zach sounds a little bit like L Kravitz . Always keep your mind open to all Music you will be surprised how much it will blend into your style and Tone , and just do the same as you go through your journey in life .
I only just heard/heard of Zach two weeks ago. Stumbled upon a Rolling Stones' "Gimme Shelter" cover performance on Rhett Shull's channel. Mighty nice: th-cam.com/video/BNCQAYR-uHw/w-d-xo.html
@@ZachPersonOfficial this comment was made after catching a show (Gasoline) ... sorry, I did miss the human interaction with a player... but that's just my opinion, I'm sure lots of people won't mind.

Sweet!!
For once I'm the first to like one of your videos!
He has take the place on music that Gary Clark Jr has left aside.
I am 1 minute 30 into this vid and in love with the man… seeking out more if this sounds
Yeah, He’s cool as fuck.
I’ll try to catch a show and get the record. 👍
What’s with Lee dropping profanities at the end of these interviews lately? LOL
Get and add in the 15 second of intro wow
He's kinda dressed like Gary Oak.
pre-recorded Bass tracks for live shows ? 👎
Come to a show! It’s not what you think ;)
