2 of my favorite players together! Would love to see/hear a musical collaboration between you two sometime. Hope you're enjoying your trip Stateside Chris. God bless and rock on 😎🎸👍
It's true. You're a fantastic guitarist. You're one of the reason's I purchased a 40th anniversary Squier Jazzmaster. Very inspiring and my kind music.
Chris Buck is great and the gutar work and the songs are really really good. But for the Slow Train is just the best song. Its my favourite and i love it.
I also own a Revstar, simply because it's the best bang for the buck, as they say.... though I am seriously considering an FGN tele style as my next guitar purchase.

I was there with you! Front of the pack and dead center. He was incredibly gracious with the crowd after the show and really made the rounds in talking to all of the fans who came out. Super humble guy! He has all of my gratitude and thanks
Here I am, a 49 year old who has played this instrument for just over 35 years, and it hits me that the significantly younger Chris Buck has indeed influenced my playing. Love his style and tone.
There are many thousands of great guitarists in this world both past and present but what makes a great guitarist an iconic guitarist is the ability to give the guitar a unique identifiable voice that people can associate to that person. Chris Buck is undoubtably one of these very special musicians.
Thanks Tyler, awesome interview. Chris is a very inspirational guitarist with wonderful melody and feel. I have been playing for over 40 years and guitarists like Chris make me want to try new things and play even more, a win win! Also as I am from Northern Ireland it was great to hear Rory Gallagher getting mentioned. A great influence here as was Gary Moore and Thin Lizzy who inspired me to play guitar.
Always great to hear from either one of you guys. I'm a big Chris Buck fan and he's actually influenced my guitar playing and thinking over the last few years. Always a joy to watch him play his unique style on a phalanx of great instruments and not always really pricey ones! If I may be allowed one small suggestion...when you have a guest in your space, maybe a bit better lighting on them?
Chris is an incredible player, he’s what got me to learn more than metal music.l, to the point I now mainly play blues and soul music. Every member of Cardinal Black are brilliant, I always look forward to hanging with them after a gig.
Chris always seems like such a down to earth, solid dude. The fact that he is a monster player, goes without saying - what touch. Really happy to see his career and recognition just continue to build. I really hope the success of this mini-tour allows Cardinal Black to come back state-side and play a longer run of shows, so more of us get a chance to experience them 1st hand.
Me and two of my friends were actually so lucky to meet Chris in PMT Bristol once and he was one of the chillest people I’ve met. Not even to mention how skilled he is.
Been watching & listening to him for several years now, he's such a gorgeous player. I used to live in Wales, UK & there's such an amazing amount of great musicians that have come out of that small corner of the UK.
Chris is one of the VERY rare few who can mix taste, tone, virtuosity and in the pocket playing in a style that's instantly recognizable. A lot of guys can do some of those, but only a handful have it all.
I remember years ago telling everyone that Chris Buck is one of the greatest guitarists of this generation. I’m glad he’s getting the recognition he deserves. He’s definitely my favorite guitar player at this moment. I would love to jam with him for 15 minutes. I learn so much from jamming with great musicians.
Chris is awesome, I saw him play with his other band Buck and Evans, in Liverpool years ago. Great to see him doing so well, such a nice guy on screen and in person.
I was fortunate to see him with his previous band, Buck and Evans, playing a small club in London. One side of Chris his YT interviews don't necessarily let you know is that the man oozes charisma on stage. He's a true band leader.
I’ve known this guy and seen him in Buck and Evans years ago in the Cluney in Newcastle, it’s so good to see him growing and finally getting the recognition he so deserves. He is such a nice guy man 🤟🏼
Chris Buck is probably in my top 5 guitarists I wish I could play like. I will never achieve anything close to any of them but especially Chris. His finger picking goes so hard

Great show in Nashville!! I love hearing the influences. There are so many rock standards plus virtuosos. Gallagher + others who approach the guitar as a voice. You take it to a new level !!
Nice breakdown of Chris's playing and pedals, Tyler. Loved it! Great to hear a shout out to the late great Rory Gallagher in there as well. Love Cardinal Black, I've seen them about 4 times already..they deserve all the success they get. 🏴🎸🇺🇲
Tyler, it must be mind blowing to go watch thier gig and then have chris play the very same songs in your room. One of the best tones and insane pedal boards ever...

this guy is a freaking legend. he actually inspired me to pick up the guitar after many years at 36. such a breath of fresh air. so glad to have found him.
I was super blessed to see them perform the same night at the Basement East! What an awesome show! My friend and I saw someone catch Chris outside the show just before and we walked over and heard him talk for a while. His last word before heading back into the building was "Super" so you can add that to the list of great foreign words with "faffin" 😂. What a great crew!
Thank you Tyler, been a fan of Chris for a while, he's amazing. You guys playing together was a pleasure to hear. Chris's melody rundown on trying to emulate a vocalist while playing solo's on guitar was advice I plan on taking. The melody comparison that he demonstrated using GNR was sublime. More people need to hear this guy. Could listen to you guys jamming for hours.
I knew the first time I seen Chris's video that he was a one of a kind player. Very refreshing to see a player play at that level without copying another great player.
