I bought a JS3000 for my car. 4 litre V8 M3 . Went to work next morning, my 26 ton Hiab truck was flat, 24 volt two batteries, got the topdon out of my car boot and boosted it off no problem. ! Epic bit of kit Lee. 👍
My battery went flat as i left the lights on (1.3L) ....didn't use the boost function on the side & it still started with ease. It was raining heavily so didn't notice it.
I'm loving the new format of your auction videos. Leaving the guide prices up in the top corner of the screen for the whole of the auction slot is perfect. It was also very difficult to listen to you while the auctioneer was speaking, so the subtitles of your thoughts / actions while the car is going through is ideal, with your summary as the lot closes. Great work! I've also just bought a couple of the Top Don Jump packs, thanks for the deal.
As someone who has a Celica with less miles than that one that sold, I was quite surprised to see it go for (relatively) so much money at auction. They tend to be underrated and unloved despite being mega-reliable and surprisingly practical for the type of car they are.
when i use to go to car auctions with my dad who was a car trader, there was always a prat lifting the bonnet and kicking the tyres , and waving his arms in the air making the first bid but never buying a single car! What fools they made of themselves, just like the prat in the white shirt
When my dad took me there was always a guy who tried to start the bidding well below scrap value on an old car that wasn't getting any bids. Auctioneer usually told them where to get off though.
Castleford is a great town so not surprised you received a warm welcome at the auction. Always worth a trip 5 mins down road to Pontefract if you go early again in future, racecourse and castle to have a walk around. Some good buys there
Definitely a few that are wet behind the ears at these auctions. Will learn the hard way, but there are too many looking for a quick flip who are not rperpared to put in a few quid to get them prepped an ready to retail.
the guy who stands RIGHT in front of you when bidding on the fiesta (32.11) suddenly moves when the hammer goes down...what a bellend... did it purposely
I've just recently come across your channel, I appreciate your honesty and you seem very transparent, you stock some nice decent cars for affordable prices 😊
Always enjoy these auction videos, that asian guy in the white top was trying to buy everything 😂everytime he went up to the drivers window i take it he was checking for lights on the dash, good to see you bought a few cars lee👍
As usual awesome video, the celica brought back fond memories i had one back in the day, one of the best cars ive ever owned but when the missus got pregnant it had to go, gutted
Hi Lee. Wow, that's a big Auction, you can never go wrong with a Quasquai, lovely buy, I think, lol. Nice Volvo for £700+fees. There were some nice buys there for you, Lee. Good luck, Mate. Wicked video again 👌👍🫡🇮🇪 P.S. Jesus, you didn't do too bad at all today. Lovely buy's 😊
watching your videos .. I've now programmed myself to "ignore the car" but ALWAYS focus on your comments on the reliability of engine / gearbox which is where the major money gets spent .. the running gear (struts / ball joints etc).. that's always easily replaced
I had a Mk8 Civic with the 2.2 i-CTDi diesel for 10 years. Bullet-proof engine if maintained regularly and was a lot of fun to drive with all the torque (340nm or 251lbs/ft) in a relatively light car. I can imagine the auto version with a 1.8 petrol engine is very lacklustre by comparison.
Some good purchases there with decent potential, the Clio being the one for me. That K11 Micra, I did a tax check on it and apart from maybe needing some welding at the next test (if not already done), a solid little car with loads of life in it. The Mini Auto, £600 + fees was ok, passed it's MOT last month but I couldn't pay £385 to tax it!
I got the Topdon jump pack 2000 last year with your promo code, good deal! I worked for Perodua in the late 90's,they were awful! That Hyundai Veloster "12" plate is so odd! The 05 Yaris T3 is a rare thing at auctions, gotta watch for rot boxes, owned a 02 1.3L auto for 14yrs & not rotten at all as i looked after it,brilliant thing....but £255 a year road tax,OUCH! Cheaper for 1.0L (£160). Sold mine when it hit £185. 😅 Perodua Myvi for £700 aint a bad deal for transportation.
That Polo was a bargain its a £3 grand car all day long low miles for a VW as if you go on Autotrader London all the VWs here have over 200 thousand miles lol
Great video Lee, 3 nice buys for you there. I'm local to G3 but I prefer AB just round the corner. As people have said in the comments, seems to attract a certain clientele at G3.
had a look at that JUMPACK, amazed to see its only 10,000mah. i thought it could be a solution for replacing my battery banks for my dashcams but daily my dashcams use a 20,000mah and about 2/3 so around 35,000mah 3x the jump pack storage, im amazed it can start a car so many times before a charge, single camera setup it be 20,000mah for 24 hours and now duel camera setup nearly 2 battery banks for 24 hours. still not found a cheaper way than using battery banks, was hoping JUMPACK might be the answer but the specs sound like it won't sadly as in the market to change two battery banks as they over year old now
That Myvi is a rebadged Daihatsu Charade - well looked after they are good news at the right money. BMW did the same door thing with the Clubman - but they had the door on the offside. I'd rather decant my kids onto the kerb than into the traffic tbh
Sorry about your battery failure, I believe you can buy a battery jump starter at a reasonable price, saw it advertised recently, can't remember where though.
I believe that civic is a ishift or what all the Honda technicians callled ishit it’s not a true auto it’s a automated manual with a computer clutch and Honda binned it very quickly, think it was produced only for about a year
Great video as usual Lee I look forward to your auction and pitch videos . Still got my fingers crossed you go over the c max this week . By the way I bought one of the top don jump packs at the reduced price from your link 😉 what a great bit of kit it is great value for money . 🏴🏴
Thought you might have had a go on that Volvo 29:14 at £700 it's £225 cheaper than a Micra 😀Could see someone from the West End bombing round in that...
Does Cat-S put up insurance costs? That era Micra is popular with food delivery peeps. About a simple a car as you could wish for, PAS is a must for round town.
Vauxhall Adam should been turned straight off but they allowed it to be written of most likely over 400-600£ chain. id be pi**ed if that my car going through auction they allowed it to happen. soon as started and making hell of a noise it should been turned straight off and pushed through, if its an interference engine its buggered now, could been a very cheap fix for a garage i be amazed auction has not now got small claims in progress should never been driven but pushed if that not allowed sell car without it on the stand but just the image
They hold the keys for each vehicle, the drivers have a key to open them when driving them through. helps speed up getting the cars through the auction.
Can't say I've watched the video to be honest but I'm assuming lots of cars were bought at cheap prices only to be put on the lot at massive prices! I only say that because as I search for a new car, prices are still stupidly high. My i30 was 5 years old when I bought it 5 years ago for 6k, now the equivalent 5 year old model is 10k! 🤬
keep it going mate! I'm just a customer per say, but this gives a great indication where market is about and what deal is a rip off on our end. All the best from Ireland
at fault of the auction driver, chain is not that expensive esp for a garage far lot cheaper than another engine. soon as started it should been turned of and pushed through so £400-500 job turns in to a hell of a lot more what was totally avoidable. they just lost the old owner that car a bit money
The Adam which blew up was only £800, and a replacement engine is around £650. So if you can do the work on it, is sounds like a bargin, or am I missing something ?
That v50 Volvo in black for £700, bargain of the day! Or pay another £290 on top for a Nissan micra! 129,000 miles for a Volvo is nothing, my 850 t5 is on 160+ and fit as a flea.
Bullet Proof Car well looked after and not ragged or modified a by Boy Racer, Low Miles ... "MOT History" denoted NO corrosion under same, just advisories the likes of pitted brake rotors and maybe coming close to needing tyres, would make a great daily driver, there not too many nice honest ones around.
So many knobs at the auction wandering round. Looking at half of them you wouldn’t buy a used car from them would you. I don’t know how you retain your composure in the hall Lee. The guy in the white T-shirt is a typical dodgy looking dealer who wants to look flash but can only bid on cheap cars.
Just needed a washing machine in the corner for a few of those bidders to clean their money a bit quicker than buying cars at over book.
Enjoy this latest auction video where I go looking for new stock. 👍👍
BCA car auction next video sir
Where in uk do these auctions take place
You becareful slating your wife's driving mate or you'll be in the doghouse 😂

i used to have a Nissan Micra, it was a great little car, just refused to die. It made me happy seeing one in such great condition.

He could invest in a 10 pound mic
always good to see the auctions back
A very well recorded and interesting video today. Most enjoyable!!
As someone who has a Celica with less miles than that one that sold, I was quite surprised to see it go for (relatively) so much money at auction. They tend to be underrated and unloved despite being mega-reliable and surprisingly practical for the type of car they are.

Two minutes into the video and I was saying to myself what an annoying guy. I thought it's just me , seems not😅
Yea white shirt was bidding on every single bloody car, probably the type to have it on marketplace or Gumtree the same day
When my dad took me there was always a guy who tried to start the bidding well below scrap value on an old car that wasn't getting any bids. Auctioneer usually told them where to get off though.
Your videos just keep getting better. It's great to see a variety of cars and prices with your Real World Knowledge thrown in. Keep up the Good Work !
Many thanks angela
Castleford is a great town so not surprised you received a warm welcome at the auction. Always worth a trip 5 mins down road to Pontefract if you go early again in future, racecourse and castle to have a walk around.
Some good buys there
And a walk round the lake at ponte park, dad used to take me fishing there when I was a kid, before we moved continents in the late 70’s
Definitely a few that are wet behind the ears at these auctions. Will learn the hard way, but there are too many looking for a quick flip who are not rperpared to put in a few quid to get them prepped an ready to retail.
The Vauxhall Adam, Rattling like. A skeleton in a buiscuit tin, having awafty crank, books itself on the way into the hall, you couldn't make it up
I went to an auction once and outbid myself. Havent been since !
the guy who stands RIGHT in front of you when bidding on the fiesta (32.11) suddenly moves when the hammer goes down...what a bellend... did it purposely
Theres always one bellend manspreading, two for the price of one at this auction
I've just recently come across your channel, I appreciate your honesty and you seem very transparent, you stock some nice decent cars for affordable prices 😊

G3 having two auction halls next to each other means you can hear the other hall loud and clear. Not a good set up.

Cracking video really enjoyed it I was watching the 2 Asian lads next 2 you they hard a car lot money talks I think you made some good buys mate 👍👋
Does it do your head in when people just stand in front of you when cars go in
Some do it if they know you're going to bid on something they want
most buyers will not be declaring income , selling as "private " owners .To register to buy , the inland revenue should take a interest .
Just what the dr ordered after today :) bargain that seat Leon that was bleeding
That Perodua Myvi is basically a 1.3 Yaris. Reliable that 8:39

Good vid and topdon stuff is good value 👍

Thanks Nigel
Does Cat-S put up insurance costs?
That era Micra is popular with food delivery peeps. About a simple a car as you could wish for, PAS is a must for round town.
Where can you find the cap prices clean average etc. if you don't have an account in g3? any site you could use so you know up to what price to bid?
Got my Topdon on order thanks ::)
Great thanks for watching david

Top Don 👍🏻
Actually saw that Micra for sale earlier on Autotrader. Interesting to see what it went for here, as currently up for £2500
Interesting video - please can you tell me what the small blue boxes are on all the cars offside windows.
They hold the keys for each vehicle, the drivers have a key to open them when driving them through. helps speed up getting the cars through the auction.

What do you think of certain vendors (Sascron, Cargiant, CBA group, finance companies). Any you avoid or prefer?
I dont get to hooked on the vendor, I just evaluate the vehicle in front of me best I can

2014 Jags for me , so cheap so cheap
What happened to your jump pack
Why do you only buy at book price when you know the book price is often wrong? Some of the CAP are so far out the book should be binned.
Quashai CVT? Hope not.
That Vauxhall Adam new engine needed LOL even at £800 thats £800 too much

@30:14 The Prius is just broken in.
What are the Blue Boxes attached to the windows of vehicles at this auction site?
Keys safe
As mentioned the keys to the car
The Toyota Celica is starting to be a sort after future classic, that’s probably why it did good money.
The T Sport and GT definitely, the base Celicas will never be that desirable. Worth the money if it's half decent underneath though, they rot for fun.
