One of my favorite songs off the album. This acoustic version is unreal. So spot on. Brings me to tears. There are no words to describe how special the music of Coheed and Cambria is.

The reason Coheed and Cambria rarely play this song is because the song was written in a difficult point in Claudio's life with his former girlfriend Nikki Owen, who inspired him to write Newo Ikkin. The song itself isn't associated with the Amory wars. Rather it was a song about the hectic relationship Claudio was in with Nikki. He even said that the song was something he was least proud of writing and prefers fans to never request it live.
This would be the song I would love to hear live. But would never ask Claudio to do it
That's why it's such a banger. The songs that have the most heart infused into them are the most potent.
You can tell it still breaks his heart to play it, even after years.

@griffith did nothing wrong The song is about his ex from forever ago. He has a wife and a kid now as well, so I think that plays into it a lot.
But wow is it a beautiful song. I think I like this acoustic version best.
