Sheesh guys, I went to one of the SSTB shows and had a blast. And I like to see how the shows differ from place to place. This guy provides that experience for me. He's doing nothing wrong.
@GodsentHellraiser There was a whole back story to the glasses at the show. I wasn't there so I don't fully understand it, but the whole band was wearing them at one point during the show. There's the story on it somewhere...
There's a light in the shed that should help you find your way. And through this door you deserve a beating through the Machine. And little did you once know in the race for the telephone. In the dark they watched us from here beyond the grave. To bare the marks of His work are the Watchmen of our ways. That which we feels untrue, if it's me than it isn't you. Lay-down, relax, come on, how? What you thought once was yours is ours now. Stay with me to guide this dream before they bury me. I'll be waiting up all night for you in a nightmare that was made for me. In the call of her screams should we leave and let them be? Is her life worth as much as we once wished to believe? So is it or isn't so? Am I dead now here in the snow? In the foul of their play will then justice be engraved? To bare the walk on the way to the killer and his blade. So is it or isn't so? Am I dead now here in the snow? Lay-down, relax, come on, how? What you thought once was yours is ours now. Stay with me to guide this dream before they bury me. I'll be waiting up all night for you in a nightmare that was made for me.
I'm not exactly sure what you're trying to say seeing as the people clapping off-tempo to a song that shouldn't be clapped along to are being "socially obnoxious". Thanks for proving yourself wrong and helping my argument, twice. Also, more to the point of the alcohol thing, I'd say an overwhelming majority of people who drink too much at a concert end up being "physically or socially obnoxious", further making the argument for prohibition of alcohol at concert venues.
My friends and I made fun of you after the show. The fact that you can't enjoy a show, especially one as good as this one, from a better vantage point is pretty sad. The reason why I film from raised areas behind the pit instead of the pit itself is so that I don't have to hold my camera high in the air and obstruct other people's view. If you saw me then you saw that I held it chest, neck and chin level, obstructing no one's view. Yet you still accused me of that, too.
@GreenRacket I don't like when people clap purely because I feel, for me, it takes away from the beat and music of what they're playing, and what I want to hear. Although, I don't care that much, but there are ways of having fun that don't disrupt other people (not that everyone would be disrupted by clapping)
1) I didn't obstruct anyone's view because I rarely hold my camera above my own chin. 2) I didn't "take" a pit pass. I had an early entry pass AND a meet & greet. They put a wristband on me. 3) Being in the pit isn't anything special. Worse view. More crowded. 4) If you resent me recording so many high quality videos, DON'T FUCKING COME WATCH MY VIDEOS THEN BITCH ABOUT ME RECORDING THEM. I record videos to share the experience with people who weren't there or want to re-live it, including me.
Also, having fun at a show NEVER EVER EVER EVER includes ruining the show for everyone else who is there to enjoy the music and performance. This includes off-tempo clapping to inappropriate songs, moshing at inappropriate places and times, smoking, heckling, etc. That is behavior reserved for inconsiderate assholes who don't deserve the privilege of concerts.
The rules are simple. You only clap along when the band instructs you to do so. That doesn't change depending on the number of people involved. The band knows which songs are more appropriate for clapping along to and which are not. This is not one of the songs that is appropriate to clap along to, much less completely off tempo for an extended period of time. Clapping along to a quieter/slower song is asshole behavior regardless of how many people are doing it.
You're the one that is trying to shit all over me recording videos. If it bothers you so much, why did you search out my videos? And Claudio's face didn't look like he was smiling while they were clapping... Hell yeah I get defensive about someone basically accusing me of stealing a pit pass from them. You were probably the fucking douchebag next to me that asked me for it and I said no then loudly complained the ENTIRE SHOW about how much you hated not being in the pit.
You're just making another strong case for why alcohol should be banned at concerts. It makes obnoxious assholes even more obnoxious. Why should I be okay with anyone making mine and everyone else who is being respectful's concert experience worse? Especially if alcohol is involved? Fuck drunk people.
Hell yeah holding your hands with your phone/camera way high in the air above your head should be banned. That's annoying as shit. Almost all of those videos and pictures come out looking like shit, too. Because those people don't care about getting the quality that I do. You seem like an extremely ignorant douchebag, I'm wasting my own time even arguing with you since you're wrong about everything.
-cut me off. You took a pit pass and didn't stand in the pit to instead film from a better spot. A spot that a person enjoying the moment could have appreciated. Your unused pit pass could have made a fan happy seeing as they cut off people going Ito The pit at a bullshit number.
it doesn't matter what it is, if claudio picks up a guitar in front of a microphone i love whatever comes out :)
I was at this show with my brother! I fan girl'd out when I realized it was this song!
Seeing Claudio enjoy himself always makes it that much better
it's a good thing the band has in-ears to block the off tempo clapping. =P Amazing Amazing Amazing band
WOW, i've been playing this song wrong on the guitar for a while and watching this video helped me figure it out
Sheesh guys, I went to one of the SSTB shows and had a blast. And I like to see how the shows differ from place to place. This guy provides that experience for me. He's doing nothing wrong.
Never saw this, what a great rendition.
so much passion
@ethangainey94 probably happy that it was the last show of the tour, ready to go home
This was their best lineup
Rocking those glasses Claudio xD
Damn, we need more classic PFI. The new stuff is great but its nothing compared to MBBM

this is amazing
with those glasses, claudio can stare into your soul
Everyone in the crowd is like this isn't Welcome Home.
i was there:)
I swear i was the ONLY one who knew this song and i was like screaming it haha! but at first i was like wtf is this?!
Hey you know I don't go to a concert to listen to the studio versions of songs on my iPod, right?
@Skrillus92 when is it out?
Claudio's glasses are the shit!
@TheElephant2009 You and me too, brother.
No need for alcohol if Coheed and Cambria is playing :)
This clapping is a perfect representation of the genius that is california, or lack there of
Those are some BAMF'n glasses!

@TheElephant2009 yeah just a little, but weird is cool now.
Only Claudio could pull off those glasses
love the song, sorry I love Claudio, I love the dark glasses, ah, maybe it will take me a bit to get used to the white ones, we'll see
man i hate when people in the crowd have no concept of timing. maybe i take it for granted because i'm a drummer but it is not that hard

Sweet Glasses.

Glasses like a boss

@Skrillus92 haha
we all do
@GreenRacket There's having fun, then there's being obnoxious and ruining the song with your off-tempo clapping.
for real, only clap if the band tells you to clap
You try getting 1000 people to keep a simple beat. Shits hard.
Also, having fun at a show NEVER EVER EVER EVER includes ruining the show for everyone else who is there to enjoy the music and performance. @blindreaper2009 I just see 'creative differences' all over Chris's eyes in this performance. Haha.
I bet this is why Chris left the band. Look at his face during this whole performance...
He stole those from the dubstep cat lol

You're right or you're wrong.
The band wasn't trying to...
It's probably been said to death on this video, but you guys know that the white glasses are a joke between the crowd and the band, surely.
wtf is with the glasses lol
