Claudio is a god among men not only does he use his music to follow the events of the comics he also speaks of his own life not all his songs have a double meaning but alot of them do. This holy bastard displays his musical talent as if every song he plays is nothing more than a thought or feeling that turns deep within himself thats why theres so much passion and meaning in the lyrics. People understand that there are two sides to all of Claudio's lyrics... how it pertains to his life and how it pertains to the comics.... They are all masked versions of how he emotes...Hell you could add a 3rd.. how you connect to the song.... Some of you need to relax... let people enjoy the music the way they want...

I prefer the lyrics and sound of the acoustic version of this song than the studio version.
Perhaps he changed the way he felt. One version is violent, the other is loving. I like change ups, especially when they are done live.
This comment keeps me up at night. So the real life story of this song is about having intimate time with chondra while on tour (ie phone sex) but in the story of the amory wars this song is about Al the killer's sexual sadism (which is why its in the grouping of the camper velorium)

To be honest a lot of people don't realize there's a plot to this music. Especially if they only have listened to a few select songs and never knew about the Amory Wars.

yeah, but the camper velorium suite is meant to show both the levels of Al's personality and the story of the relationship with Luci that eventually led to him becoming a serial killer. This song is both about the outward personality he shows the world and the story of that relationship before it went bad.

Don't listen to The Dear Hunter. Actually do it and join me and others sitting the bottom of a five album deep rabbit hole. I love Co&Ca and The Amory Wars, but the scope and foreshadowing of Thee Dear Hunter's Act I-V albums are insane once you get into them.

This is a case of misunderstanding. The Dear Hunter has an overarching story behind five of their albums. Act: I, Act: II Act, III, Act: IV, and Act: V those are the five I was referring to.
Though to answer your question about Color Before the Sun, is that part of the Amory Wars saga? I only listened to that record like once so if I missed story bits I judged that album wrongfully and I need to go back and listen to it more.
