This has happened to me at school. One girl at my classroom put herself beside me and asked a guy who was prettier. She did that to hurt me because the guy didn't even get along with me so well. But surprisingly to me the guy told her in front of everyone that I was prettier. I just smiled said thank you and went back on my business. I will always remember that. It was such a slap to her ego that she never ever messed with me again.

What was worse, to me, was that they had the boyfriends rank their girlfriends. And her boyfriend didn't really defend her. He made excuses for why he was with her. Like he was embarrassed. They don't get friends, most of the times they tend to be introverts.
Very hard. A lot of women go behind each other's backs, and when trying to make friends with guys, most of the time they end up becoming friends with me just to go the next step, and a friendship just isn't good enough for them. It's hard to trust anybody but the very few friends I do have are amazing.
It's harder to make friends, but at least female friendship tends to be more intimate and supportive, so it's easy to talk about our feelings and stuff

It’s not just about facial attractiveness either. Men are subconsciously judged based on their height. Taller men are perceived as “better” than shorter men in almost every sense for simply just existing. It’s unfortunate but it’s biology and reality.

As someone who grew up as an ugly duckling I would say I grew up with an attractive older sister all I did was get overlooked, ignored and criticized. I would always get the “oh yea you to” … I was wrongly judged when I always tried my best to be the kindest warm hearted person I could be. It still hurts but the real strength is that I don’t judge people by covers and I am still kind even till this day.

I encountered this scenario in primary school, when my friend invited me into her girls group. Felt like sh&t af, but didn't hold it against them. I ended up meeting friends for life in Middle school, & we were viewed as cool kids by the juniors in highschool.

I've struggled with this my whole life. Every year, I would get bullied, and girls would always ask to do a makeover on me, which made me feel horrible. My family bullied me worse than the kids at school, and now my self-esteem is sooo low. I feel for her, but I hope she knows she's worthy and those girls are going to freak out when aging sets in. She's the only one I'd be friends with tbh because she seems humble and sweet. She doesn't need to be fixed. Society can be so so cruel.

I was treated like this throughout middle and high school. I had a chubby body, brace face ugly hair phase. I was often ostracised. Even when I grew out of all that and started to get plenty of male attention, I was still ostracised and viewed as competition. Sometimes you can’t win when you’re ugly or pretty when it comes to making female friends. It’s rough.

This is what I look like in a situation with a lot of people. I rarely gave compliments and not really up to date with trends and topics average girls my age knew so I always got left behind, i also rarely hung out because i have no money/my money went to saving cause i need to pay tuition every semester and "going out" without spending anything is worse than not going at all, ya know? You would know if you have gone out without money with a bunch of surface-level friends. I also hardly pick up social cue and had to remind myself on what to do, often times when I saw or overheard people interacting in the background, i'll furiously make a mental note to "do that" so i won't be/feel awkward in another interaction with others but it's really hard. My personality is already set like this, quiet and observant, but I hardly learn social cues from people unless i really noted it down consciously. Often times I just stood there, not looking interesting.
I'm a dude but I very much relate to this, it kinda made me chuckle because of how much it rings true. There's nothing wrong with your Rachel, don't change. I hope I find a girl like that, I reckon you'd be much more interesting to know than the lot of them.

I don't approach random women AT ALL but if I were forced to approach any 1 of these 5 women based on looks alone, I'd have chosen between Sky, Jennifer and Sophia, as Vera is just too tall for me and I don't find her attractive even putting her height aside, Ajanea is already a big fat NO for me.
Then going by the personalities Sky and Jennifer seemed more approachable than Sophia, besides that the comment on "I am scared of gyms because.. UGH.. MEN" made me feel repulsed both Sky and Sophia. And Jennifer wins by elimination, BUT even without that she is the only one with a real career, down to earth personality, who goes to gym, and genuinely seems nice. Plus she is already lasted over 5 years into a relationship so she's pretty solid compared to everyone else.
I hate seeing people being excluded, it literally made me sad and uncomfortable when they ignored her like that.

This is me everyday, highly accurate. Not because of a attractiveness matter but just because people every place I go literally ignore me and go to say "hi" to the person next to me. It feels so embarrassing having to go through this everytime. Like "hey, I have to go to the same place as you, you've seen me lots of times, you talked to me when you needed it and I answer you in a good way why do you do this to me?" They make me feel like I'm an actual ghost because they don't even look, it's amazing the level of invisible that I'm the whole time. Now I realised the main reason was my disability so I don't blame myself that hard but yeah, people are really gross and it seems (I want to believe) that don't actually notice how much they can hurt other people. As a person who still has depression this hits hard to the heart. You feel like you're less than them, but that's not true

My oldest sister was ganged up on by some girl she didn't even know, because apparently she felt threatened.
My youngest sister was bullied by pretty much every other girl in class because she has dyslexia and dysgraphia
