As an Air Force veteran myself I can tell you that it is EASY to pick out the bright servicemembers from the not-so-bright ones. I could pick up instantly that this Marine was one of the sharp ones. Everyone rating him low clearly had no idea what the military community is like and what kind of mental fortitude you have to have to make it sometimes. I hope they are humbled. Just because you place a low value on what they do doesn’t mean they aren’t smart.

They all scored Tyler the lowest except for the rainbow guy. They did this because they've been brought up to look down on the military and to look down on those who do not possess higher education degrees. This video shows a lot more about these people's sociological perspectives than it does intelligence. I remember having a Master Sergeant teach me classes in college. Sure, he was in his 60's and had tons of experience both in the military and in life, but man... did this guy know pretty much everything. He was a lifetime learner. I think you're right in that people who wear the uniform could care less about skin color when they're getting shot at. Racism is a dead ideology. Anti-racism requires the prolonging of racism in order to stay relevant. Schools are teaching CRT which is just rebranded racism. CRT teaches that people are either part of the oppressed or the oppressor class based on their skin color. CRT is the exact opposite of what MLK Jr. taught the world. CRT is the revival of Marxist race/classism. CRT belongs in the grace. I spit on CRT.

IQ reflects one's capability of learning. It shows how easy or hard it is for them to learn something, and if can reflect on how much they can learn. There being a sort of ceiling on one's ability of learning, as to if they reach that max point they would have an extremely hard time keeping up.
It doesn't reflect how smart you are. It reflects how easy or hard it is for you to become smart and how smart you can become. This just goes to show how hard Maria actually worked. Which is proabably why she placed herself higher. Those who work hard for something often get the feeling they deserve it. If something comes easy to someone, then that may cause them to suffer of imposter syndrome. A very nice experiment, which can also motivate. Maria just goes to show, that even with an average iq you can go a long way through hard work.

Basically have to throw out all psychological assessments if you don't accept the validity and reliability of standardized IQ tests. Everything is always flawed, but IQ tests are and remain one of the strongest, if not the strongest test in psychology. So it isn't "Flawed" and they are "accurate". The only people who contend this are people who are either ideologically possessed or not trained in administering standardized IQ tests. All IQ tests do is test ones ability to reason under constraints. There is no confusion in what it measures, or its effectiveness.

IQ tests are the most accurate tool psychology has ever employed. If you had to use any tool at your disposal to assess for potentially competent people to train up for some endeavor without any ability to decifer their competence prior, you would choose an IQ test even over a resume with references of that person that tout their adaptability and leadership capacity etc
