it's better to use a regular soap than dishsoap for your brushes, since dishsoap has harsh chemicals in it it can damage your brushes and it's not good for your face aswell
13:00 you are washing your make up brushes wrong thats why many of them are shading hairs. Try to mix ( 3 bumps of face wash + 3 bumps of hand soap + 6 drops of vitamin E oil) and pray for me most of my brushes are from 2015 and they all are doing great 🩷🩷
When it comes to real techniques, try the eco line! I swear by it for foundation. I've tried some more expensive ones & had bad luck so I'm always scared to splurge myself.

Castor soap is great for washing brushes. Olive oil will melt the glue off inside holding the brushes
