For washing white couch covers, I mix 1 tsp blue dawn dish soap and 1 scoop of oxiclean together in some hot water from the tap before adding it directly to the washer. Make sure you mix it well first. It’s great for lifting stains :)
For washing the cushion covers - depending on the fabric/material you can probably machine wash, we had a couch with removable covers and would just machine wash them with regular detergent and it was fine. They were a light beige color so not 100% white but they definitely got dirty fast and we also had a dog & cat at the time. If there is a tag on any of the cushion covers or on the back of the couch it probably will have cleaning directions and the fabric content (polyester, cotton, etc). Generally speaking I think a gentle cycle, cold wash, and air dry with a mild, dye-free detergent should be fine. We would also put baking soda on stains before washing to help get them out! Also I'm definitely feeling the same about wanting to reorganize, clean, and revamp my apartment - something about the change of the seasons (especially going into fall & spring) makes me want to clean and organize everything. EDIT: aaaand I just got to the part where you said you machine washed them, lol, glad it worked out! Love the video + the cleaning inspiration
The British in me thinks it’s so odd that you have a lamp in your bathroom because we don’t have plug sockets in our bathrooms here in the UK. But I love it. Looks so cosy
I have a similar couch to yours but its off white. I just throw the cushions in the wash on delicate wash with detergent and oxi. I only do a normal wash if they get really dirty. Then I add them to the dyer on a low temp for an hour.
You should get the bissell little green machine, also if your covers come off then I just throw mine in the washer on a delicate wash . But I dont like taking the seating part off tbh the cotton inside gets everywhere so the bissell is gonna be your best bet probs! I need to get caught up on all your videos. They're so inspiring.
So I’ve seen that it’s always good to soak your matcha bamboo whisk in warm water to expand and soften the bristles so it doesn’t damage it. Hope that helps
Opening TH-cam and seeing a new vlog from you Michaela will always makes me happy🤗💗😀💫 and your new profile picture looks so so gorgeous and please please don't change your profile picture😭🥹
The pantry organization was so satisfying! I think a good option for that space would be to get pull-out shelves (you install them right over the current shelves) so you can easily get to the things in the back without having to take everything out each time.
if you dont want to wash them in the washing machine you can get this washing vaccum, where you spray water on the fabric and them use the vaccum part to get all the water and dirt up x
I don't think you made the matcha correctly. Based off videos I've seen of matcha fanatics; you have to put the whisk in hot water to open it. I also think you have to mix the matcha with hot water and then pour it over milk.
