4:38 I think every TH-cam video needs this kinda pep talk before getting into the project. As no matter our experience level on whatever medium, mistakes are bound to happen when trying something new. (And often even on the 100th time 😂) Thanks 😊
Perfect timing. I started doing coasters (3mm Baltic Birch on a 3mm cork coaster base) but would love to use real wood (6mm) with a really thin, 1mm cork base. Now I can make my inserts fit tighter.
Thanks for the information. The last piece of plywood tried did not cut well at all. Not sure what I could have adjusted differently for better outcome. I played around with it until my back said no more.
This is pretty awesome love the design! I know you said something about using black acrylic, could you help with settings for acrylic on a 20w diode laser? Thanks

Great video. Never thought about doing this technique with a laser.
It is pretty awesome. Not many items out there like this
Another great video, Dave. Thank you.
Glad you enjoyed it
Those look great! now I gotta give it a try lol
Go for it. pro tip, simple shapes with no small thin parts are easiest... lol
@@TheClackShack Thanks for the tips, pal

You are gonna want to test but it can usually be done with 6mm/s and a couple passes.
At 11:05 you mentioned that the snowman's legs were in, I didn't see his legs !
Arms..
