@3:44 WHAAAAAAAAT???!!! haha Agreed, the sprites definitely leveled up here, especially for the background. Very cool that they have a low-gravity level. Leaves blowing in the wind is really cool. It's amazing all the cool thing they were able to do with the NES as they got better and better at developing games there. @8:57 ooh, a heady pun here! haha @9:15 haha, I didn't expect that one, lol @9:25 Science Beeaaatch! haha Dang, Beat's OP! Another excellent review for the books!
I know, what a shock that Dr. Wily was actually behind the evil plans! Who would have thought? I did find some of the levels super cool like the ones that you mentioned with the low gravity. I almost went with a Breaking Bad reference for Crystal Man and I wanted to say that exact phrase but didn't know if anyone would get it, I'm surprised you did!! Beat certainly does come in clutch at the end, it's a lot of work to get those letters but it makes it a breeze to beat Dr. Wily. Thanks for watching buddy!
You are right, that's definitely his cape. I really like that they upgraded the Mega Buster in the series, being able to charge it helped a lot when taking on robot masters. Thanks for watching this review!
I'm with you when it comes to the little details in games, whether graphical or audible, it really is the little touches that leave the biggest impressions.😊
Yes, audio details are wonderful too. I love a good sound effect and it makes a world of a difference, especially in small games that were designed by a few people. I really appreciate the work that they do. Thanks for watching!
Another nice review! I guess they were going for If it ain't broke, don't fix it formula with this one? I can't wait to see your review on the final one to know exactly why it's your favorite in the series! Great video and keep up the good work!
They certainly were, I think some formulas really work. Mega Man knows it's fan base for the original series and as long as they keep turning a profit, it makes sense for them to continue it with some added features sprinkled in. You're correct, Mega Man 6 is my favorite on the NES. Looking forward to showing that hopefully sometime this week. Thanks for watching!
Oh man, Crystal Pepsi!! I totally whiffed on that joke, but to be honest... I've never had Crystal Pepsi but now I want to try it. Thanks for watching buddy, I'm just getting back from a wedding over the weekend so I'm excited to dig into some new videos you've released.
In all honesty, mega man 5 is my favorite in the series I know it didn’t bring anything new, but it has good level design, fun little gimmicks for the levels, less beginner traps, and good music
Each Mega Man game on the NES is a very good game, so I can't disagree that Mega Man 5 is a good game! To me, it was just one of the weaker entries compared to the rest, but I won't fault anyone for saying it's their favorite. Glad you enjoyed Mega Man 5. Thanks for watching this review!
This one was definitely just a small improvement mechanically from MM4, but this one is nostalgic for me, as it was the first Mega Man game I actually beat when I was a kid. But now, I await the review for Mega Man 6 👍. Great review again man!
Oh wow, that's really cool it was the first Mega Man game that you beat as a kid. They were no joke so that's an impressive feat. Mega Man 5 is still a good game, which goes to show how special the series is if this one is one of my lower scores.
5 may not add much, some of the levels may feel a little gimmicky, and it's pretty easy, but it's my third favorite of the 6 NES games. It has a similar feel to Mega Man 3 IMO.
That's what makes these so fun to do! I love hearing all the different opinions on the games. Everyone has their own favorites or order. Nothing wrong with that, glad you enjoyed 5!
Did it get a lot of hate when it came out? I never knew that it wasn't looked upon with high regards. I still enjoyed my playthrough of it, and think it's a good game, just not as good as the rest of the series! Thanks for watching buddy.
Haha, well if you are inclined, watch the other five reviews on the NES games where I kinda compare what they each brought to the series. I just feel like 5 didn't contribute too much, it was a fun game though. They all are.

08:02 That's Protoman's cape, not a letter.
Mega Man 5 is the only game where I can beat the Robot Master easily with just the Mega Buster.
You are right, that's definitely his cape. I really like that they upgraded the Mega Buster in the series, being able to charge it helped a lot when taking on robot masters. Thanks for watching this review!

I like your quips about the different robot bosses in these reviews 😂 another nice review!
Thanks, they are always fun to think of! I always appreciate your support : )

Love it! Excited for 6, and of course laughed at robot name origins lol. I was for sure there would be a Crystal Pepsi reference lol!

@@TigerChainsawVideoGames oh no worries! Hope it was fun my friend!

Proto Man knowing units needed to be moved for the Mega Man franchise 😂. Great review.
Hahaha, he knew what was up! Always appreciate you watching my guy. Thanks for being so supportive.

I call "Charge Man"..... "Train Man" in this review. Hahaha, whoops! 🤣
Well it's called Mega Man FIVE so yeah it would be the fifth installment in the series..
Haha yes, I know I can be a little redundant with my points. Thanks for watching!
I enjoyed mega man 5 despite it getting alot of hate, just my preference.
Did it get a lot of hate when it came out? I never knew that it wasn't looked upon with high regards. I still enjoyed my playthrough of it, and think it's a good game, just not as good as the rest of the series! Thanks for watching buddy.
Mega Man 5 did nothing for the series? You mean like most games in the series?
Haha, well if you are inclined, watch the other five reviews on the NES games where I kinda compare what they each brought to the series. I just feel like 5 didn't contribute too much, it was a fun game though. They all are.
