For the ones who don't know, when you swing in the miles morales game you can see a big difference in his swinging before and after the campaign, after the campaign he's more smooth when he swings.

@@peach-rug is it just me or tasm game web swinging is a big downgrade from what we've seen in previous games coz web swinging in sm3 seems much fluid and realistic coz the webs actually attaches to buildings instead of clouds

Insomniac did amazing the first game. But look at how much they've improved in their latest game. The way your tricks flow with the swinging is amazing, and the attention to detail on the animations is superb. Gotta love them for that.

@@Rek267 the story was actually great, it's just shorter. I loved the way Peter integrated his teachings, how Miles becomes his own Spider-Man, and the villians actually have a legitimate reason for being there in relation to the first game. Theres great plot twists, moral dilemmas, and power reveals. The only downside is that it is shorter so it's not as in depth as Peters, but it isn't meant to be.
Bro the swinging in The Amazing Spider-Man game looks so cinematic, paired with the swell of the orchestral music. It's so good.

From what I’ve seen through this evolution, Spider-Man finally quips to the nearest building rather than into the clouds. When I played Spider-Man (PS4) There have been times where I would fall into the ocean because I swung too far from the buildings. I like that it limited me to where I could go because that’s more realistic!
I remember not being able to do a jump on a boat mission in Spiderman 2 on the PlayStation 2 because I couldn't use the webs away from buildings and I liked that, including the fact that under the bridge you could cross the sea precisely because it served to hold the webs, happy that this kind of detail is still being maintained.
bro there are only like 3-4 games where he webs the sky in all other games he webs the buildings

I love the fact that in the Miles Morales game, that you can see that he's a newbie and learning. Whenever he'd land on something, he'd stumble/wobble a little bit. I just finished the main campaign last night, so I wasn't paying attention to see if his confidence has changed but I'm sure it does.

The difference between Peter and miles is that Peter has a pro swinging sense he’s done it for years but miles just started and his swinging as 18 different swinging skills and 4 secret ones and his swinging is way cooler and more loose

I notice sometimes spider-man will already start moving forward in a swinging motion before a web has even attached to anything in Insomniac's games. Hopefully that changes in the sequel. Near perfect web-swinging system!

I love how in all the major 3rd person Spider-Man games you can clearly see the web slinging get better and better, until we get to the PlayStation Spider-Man games, which are the pinnicle of web slinging in videogames in my opinion. I think the LEGO and Infinity games did his web slinging justice, especially for a game focused on multiple heroes instead of one

Spider-man 2 movie game started the realistic web swinging. And Web of Shadows started the whole web strike aerial combat. 2 awesome games from my teens.

I thought I’d be cool is in Miles Morales at the beginning he swung more like Peter but as you progress through the game, Miles starts swinging in his own fashion echoing back to the caption of the game, “Be yourself”

Up until Spider-Man Ps4, only Web of Shadows, Ultimate Spider-Man and Spider-Man 2 had legit good-looking web swinging animations, speed and mechanics. Others were either linear, or weird like the TASM ones.

I just started playing Spider-Man remastered and I was kinda surprised the swinging wasn't like TASM 2 where your left and right triggers corresponded to your left and right hands in the game. It made swinging surprisingly immersive.
I find it wild that people say Spider-Man 2 has the best web swinging of the 6th generation, when Ultimate Spider-man is RIGHT there.
