    Thanks for not only reviewing the camera, but also demonstrating different angles that are possible with it. Great video! 🔥

    Thank you for being the only reviewer of this camera to mention that is not a 360 camera. Despite the "360" Name.

    Hello Tariq. I have a question please? Is there a way to use the cam as a rear view mirror? In other words, seatpost mount it for a rear view, and live stream to my mobile phone, stem mounted? It seems to me that this would be a natural auxiliary use for the unit or for any other bike rear cam/light unit. Thanks for your nice review and very thorough demo.

    • @SmartBikeTrainers
      @SmartBikeTrainers  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You can using their app. But I wouldn’t use it as a rear view mirror as their will be delay in video. There are other devices you can use as rear view radar such as Garmin Varia which I highly recommend for cyclists.

      @@SmartBikeTrainers thank you for your reply, and it answered my question why it couldn’t be used as a mirror. I have the varia and love it, but was wondering.

    Nice video!! Question: when you press the record-knob on the Insta360 (on the necklace), does it beep? Or anything to show that recoding is on? (since you can't see the light)

    • @MrNeilRoberts
      @MrNeilRoberts 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hello … it vibrates when you press it to confirm start recording … it also vibrates when finished.

  • @Yocambio

    One use case I didn't see was "handheld" - all the examples are fixed mount, including the pendant. I would prefer the versatility of having a hand-grip attachment so I could pull the camera from a jersey pocket for selective shooting (with the caveat of being careful not to crash into something in the process, of course).

    • @SmartBikeTrainers
      @SmartBikeTrainers  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      You can attach it to a hand grip mount using one of the included attachments. Any GoPro compatible hand grip mount should work.

    • @MrNeilRoberts
      @MrNeilRoberts 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes you could …. But Insta also make a usb mount now which is better option.

    Love the video thanks. The top tube mount is pretty cool. Can you get it any higher or is it limited to the one height with the mounts when on the top tube? Cheers

    • @SmartBikeTrainers

      It’s limited to the mount included so you will have to get a little creative.

    One question is, where and how you operate the controller ??

    • @SmartBikeTrainers
      @SmartBikeTrainers  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      The case itself operates as a controller so you can start, stop, and change settings directly from the case. You can also program the button on the camera to start / stop recording in different modes.

    Hey Tariq I think you are a stand up guy and was getting ready to push buy when I read some of the negative reviews ( too many to repeat here: overheating, connectivity issues, freezing etc). You really didn't mention any of these or any problems that you encountered. Did you not have any cons or problems with the camera?

    • @SmartBikeTrainers
      @SmartBikeTrainers  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      This video was really not intended to be a review. Like the title says, the video was about how I use it on the bike. It’s really good for short type videos and it can be a really cool camera if used right. yes it can over heat and battery life isn’t the best and no storage expansion option. Appreciate you trusting my reviews though and would’ve put a list of pros and cons if this video was a review. But I assumed this camera been out for a while and plenty of good reviews out there and didn’t want to just do another review video :)

      Just to add a bit more context on some of the freezing issues, I have been on the road the past couple of days and I have been using it daily. Had nothing but good experience. But typically I record 1-3 min long videos.
