In this video I show you the best mounting options and adapters for the Insta360 GO 2. There are many possibilities, how and where you can use the different adapters. I give you a short overview, of how you can best use them.
Beside to the classic options:
- using the Insta360 GO 2 in the case handheld
- using the case as tripod
- using the GO 2 without the case handheld
- and mounting the GO 2 without any adapter on a magnetic surface
there are a lot of useful mounting adapters available.
First I start with the adapters which are included in the standard scope of delivery.
1. The first one is the Magnetic Pendant
With the magnetic pendant you can mount your Insta360 GO2 on all different clothes. This is the best mouting adapter for classic POV Shots. The GO 2 can be easily attached to the pendant through the magnetic design. Here are some example Shots which I created with the Insta360 GO 2 in combination with the magnetic pendant.
2. The next adapter is the Easy Clip
Another cool accessory, for mounting the Insta360 GO 2 on your jacket or cap. Perfect for POV Shots in any situation. Here are some example videos, created with the Insta360 GO 2 easy clip.
3. Pivot Stand
The pivot stand is a universal mounting adapter and perfect for mounting the GO2 on different places like the car, your bike, or any other creative location.
I also used the pivot stand as bite mount, which works perfectly. Here are my best Insta360 GO 2 Pivot Stand Shots.
The upcoming adapters are not included in the standard scope of delivery, but can be purchased additionally, for example in the form of the "mount adapter bundle".
4. Magnetic Screw Mount
The magnetic screw mount is my favorite Selfie Stick mount adapter. The adapter can be easily screwed onto the selfie stick. Now you can attach the Insta360 GO 2. The magnet fixes the camera and you can easily detach the GO 2 again. With the magnetic screw mount the angle of inclination can be changed in all directions. Here are some example clips:
5. Magnetic Prong Mount
The magnetic prong mount is similar to the magnetic screw mount. The difference is the adapter fixation. You can fix the Prong mount on a classic screw mount base or a sticky base with the screw. With the prong mount you are able to change the tilt angle.
6. Action Mount Adapter
The last Insta360 GO 2 adapter is the Action mount adapter. This one is for Action Shots. When you put the Insta360 GO 2 in the frame and fix it with the screw, it is impossible to lose it. The fixation does not work with a magnet, instead it is form-fitted. Perfect for action Shots!

Looks like you were using the pendant the wrong way round. The logo should be towards your chest. The other side has an oval pattern to match the shape of the Go 2. This makes a much firmer grip.

The bite mount is creative!
Great series of Insta360 GO 2 videos! Unfortunately on 1:14 you have used the wrong side of the magnetic pendant.
If you peel of the sticker on the pendant there is a footprint of the GO 2 on the right side. Also this side is much stronger because you can use both magnets inside the GO 2 to mount it. This makes it easier not to lose the camera!
Also the magnetic force is more weak on the shown side of the magnetic mount!

Excellent videos on Insta360 Go2! At 3:28 and 5:16 is the adapter connected to action mount included in the bundle or extra? It looks like the small sticky adapter for flat surface but I thought it didn't have the female screw piece.

You used the magentic pendant the wrong way around. The opposite side with the Go2 shape on it is stronger

Das erste, was mir unter der Kamera in der Box begegnete, war ein Papier mit dem Hinweis, auf welche Seite des Umhängemagnets die Kamera angebracht werden muss, und auf welcher nicht. Und es ist genau anders herum, wie im Video. 😉 Ich hätte mir zudem noch etwas mehr zum Pivot-Stand gewünscht, wie hält diese z.B. an der Scheibe? 😊 Jedenfalls aber danke fürs Video.

Hi, I have the Bike kit, the adapters Kit and I don't get it how do you mount the action kit adapter (the black one) on the selfie stick. Just don't find the right piece. Can you please help me?
Those mounts are still not available and have been out of stock for 2 months. I received the go 2 yesterday after waiting 4 weeks for delivery and now I am really disappointed that I can't get the extra mounts.
And when they become available, we will have to pay extra for delivery which would have been free if purchased with the camera, like I wanted to do. This makes them rather expensive! I am using a spring-loaded microphone clip instead, which holds the camera tightly but enables it to be instantly mounted or removed for charging.
@@Ozpeter That is indeed exactly my frustration with this company. I am sick of companies selling stuff before they build it. Michael Dell started that concept way back and now it has become standard operating procedure.
I ordered a metal frame mount (not an Insta360 product) from eBay two weeks ago. Today it was delivered.

How many minutes of continuous video can be recorded?
Not much. That's the ONLY thing I don't like about it. 15-30 minutes, depending on the recording mode.
The magnet is not good. It falls when riding bikes.

The magnetic pendant is only good for flat chested people. When I use it, the footage always tend to look slightly upward 😭
Yeah I can edit in post. But you risk getting black areas in the corners of the footage.
