It was a common problem with Miata aftermarket rear brake kits. This dedicated parking caliper uses the stock parking brake lines, and gives you a much stronger system than the old style Wilwood parking brake. :)
Awesome! I will definitely be picking up a set of these for my LS6 NA. I’ve been running on 1.8 brakes and they’ve definitely been lacking with the bigger power plant. Any eta on when the front bbk will be back in stock?
Right on! The BBKs should be back on the site soon, we are reorganizing them a bit for the new site to make them easier to browse and buy. Feel free to reach out to our customer support team if you have specific questions or need a more specific ETA.

I want the best of all worlds 😅 Can I have a Rear Caliper, Drift Caliper, AND Parking Brake? Future design? Wishful thinking? Too greedy? Never satisfied? 😁
Will the parking brake option be offered in the same anodized gray finish as the BBK at some point? What’s the reason that it’s currently different for the gray? Just different material or something?
Some of Wilwood’s calipers are anodized (grey), some are powder coated (red, black, silver). You can get an anodized caliper powder coated for an extra cost, but the ones that are always powder coated don’t come in anodized. Drives us nuts.
@@FlyinMiataVideo that’s a bummer but I guess it makes the decision easy for me; once the full BBK’s with the parking brake caliper are available I’ll just get red all around! Thanks for the reply!
@@StefanGoudreau the hydraulic calliper sucks with the cable lever on the big little kit, had to go back to OE on the rear as I can't get it past inspection.

Yep. If you're currently on one of our Wilwood kits that has the integrated parking brake caliper, you'll need to switch the P brake cables back to stock.

Ohhhhh Damn!! I noticed the rear LBBK was missing on the FM website, I am so going to get these for Christmas!
Shut the front door and take my money!
Been waiting for these to drop since the initial announcement at FM 2022 summer camp!
Quite intresting news. I have the earlier rear Willwood on my NAand the emergancy brake was a bit lacking.

Will this interfere with the brake cooling duct plates that replaces the dust shields?
Do you have instructions for the parking brake kit?
I ordered the complete kit and it didn’t come with any.. confused on some of the brackets.
Thanks

need one set of handbrake for my nd!
sucks not being able to get my engineering passed on my parking brake because the rear sucks on the current big little kit
I am wondering if you can use oem calipers instead of the willwood calipers for the kit.
That wasn't really our design intent, as OEM calipers already have a strong parking brake.
Are you going to make this for the ND? I have the LBBK, and would love either a drift or parking brake worth a dang!
Due to the multi-link suspension, packaging this for the ND is proving to be difficult. We'll keep looking at it, but we haven't managed to do it yet.

Will a similar kit be coming out for the ND in the near future?
can I still use my oem rear brake callipers and get this drift callipers ?
Unfortunately no, the brackets are created specifically for our Wildwood calipers, not factory.
What’s the gray rear bar on the top rear of the white NA? Used for transporting tires with the top down?
Part of an old bike rack kit.

So… the e-brake kit relies solely on the cable, i.e. no separate brake lines needed?
Correct, just like the factory setup.
What is the purpose of having dual caliper rear brake ?

This does not affect ABS.
Will this work with Brembo brakes from ND
Sorry, the brackets are designed around Wilwood Powerlite main calipers.
will it fit with 15x8 0 offset wheels
