Great video. I’ve been thinking about doing this to my Z3, but I was going to get the caliper mounts from Ebay. They’re around $40-$50. Cool to see you made your own though. Keep up the good work.
You know I saw you in Fasterproms , but the reason I came at this exact time is because I saw your channel's name in another video, I saw BAYSIDE fabrication written on a piece of metal in a Boostedboiz video, that made me remember this channel crazy coincidence
Great video. If you swap the new calipers left & right, won't the bleeder now be positioned at the highest point? Welding to cast iron isn't great, are you concerned it might not be strong enough?
@@baysidefabrication well I had been discussing with a friend doing something weird and swapping a K series into a mustang, but not a Foxbody as everyone seems to be doing nowadays just like an sn95 as a drag car. With all that stopping power though I would say it could be better put to use on an autocross/track day car. Just a random thought for you.
@@mikemeyer1993 Yeah I have zero ideas for the brakes as of now. I jus got em cause they were $103 for the set Ill find something to do with them at some point soon.
Your ears do not deceive you!! I am building a compound turbo tdi ALH build and putting it in a 99 Jeep xj. Motor is done bored out .5 over and has head studs, h-beam rods, main studs, upgraded duel valve springs, 11mm injection pump, .260 injectors, and more!
Oh yeah, can’t wait to see this thing drift.
Z cart becomes Drifty McDrift. Hope all's well with you Ben.
Gabe: I've got a buid going on, maybe I'll tell you about that later
Forrest Gump voice: And thats all I have to say about that

Nice find, bagged some sweeet brembos. The hydro setup looks ace. 👍🏽
It's neat they are large brembo calipers but the pads are tiny. The caliper just looks large for cool looks
Great content thanks for sharing

Well since you are doing this setup I guess you are planning on joining in with the neighbors doing the slidey slidey thing around the drift track?

Did you go back to get the 6 pistons off of that Toureg? Also if not the cart what do you plan on putting them in?
I snagged them as soon as they came up. No idea yet but I just got a k24a2 so I have some thinking to do about the next project

Did my ears deceive me, or was Gabe talking about TDI parts?
