Frey never betrayed Robb, he wasn't aligned with Robb in the first place, the quickest way was though Frey's Bridge, the original plan was to capture Robb during the bedding ceremony in order to use him as an exchange for Jaime. "Cut his throat or he'll tell the crows we're here" Huh? Didn't Tormund just get finished telling Jon they WANT to lure the crows into the open? That small inconsistency aside, good to see more reactions to this masterpiece of an episode.
George R. R. Martin once said that Catelyn Stark was the hardest character to kill off. She was so layered. I wish she could have known what we, the audience, know.
It's more detailed and sadder in books. Stark's army doesn't die immediately. They resist and fight to protect their king. But the result doesn't change.
Jon does see the direwolves, but he has zero reason to think the boys are so far from Winterfell. He thinks about home but he doesn't consider they could somehow be there. He just thinks they are more direwolves that have come south (and he does have good reason to know why now that he knows the Walkers are real) & then proceeds to try to stay alive in the fight.
The true crossover moment when you know it's not like any other story. Glad to tell you there are highs as extreme as these lows, but it's a long journey of ups and downs
It’s like we simply let our guards down after Ned’s death. It was shocking but no one who read the books could’ve predicted they would kill off a main character in the prime of the series

Huh? Didn't Tormund just get finished telling Jon they WANT to lure the crows into the open?
That small inconsistency aside, good to see more reactions to this masterpiece of an episode.
George R. R. Martin once said that Catelyn Stark was the hardest character to kill off. She was so layered. I wish she could have known what we, the audience, know.
The one episode I didn’t want you to Watch.
Actually you handled it much better than I expected.
❤❤❤
Love you
Cat is looking worries cause they are playing Rains of castamere
One of the best episodes in tv history. I remember looking to my left and right being like WTF JUST HAPPENED
No more Hodoring is gold! 😂
The thumbnail was enough for me to know I was going to be into this channel
you should watch history and lore videos to get more into thr lore, they are read by the actors from the show
18:02 "coz now we get to have this like really beautiful memory..."
OH. THIS IS NOT GOING TO BE A GOOD MEMORY LOL--
The true crossover moment when you know it's not like any other story. Glad to tell you there are highs as extreme as these lows, but it's a long journey of ups and downs
It’s like we simply let our guards down after Ned’s death. It was shocking but no one who read the books could’ve predicted they would kill off a main character in the prime of the series
Walder : "Come Closer"
Talyse : **goes 3 inches forward**
"It's only up from here right? That's the worse thing that can happen?"
Welcome to winter, they were telling you that winter was coming
Winter is here 😭😭😭
@@LippsReactswinter is still coming, wait my sweet summer child
Lmao the fact i have never been in this channel before and youtube front paged this episode for me. They know i enjoy the death of innocence.
Game of Thrones - the show that creates richly nuanced characters, gets you invested in their stories like they're real people, and then kills them.
Phenomenal summary actually
Walder Frey is such a good character. One of my favourites
Welcome to the 3x9 Club.
18:15 and so it begins...
15:45 "look at all the smiles!" :)
Just remember in the books robb is 14 years old
You handled this much better than I expected. To borrow some words from Greatjon Umber to Robb Stark in S1E8 (The Pointy End): "Your [heart]... is bloody tough!" 😉
You just started playing fallout, a depressive (yet charming) universe. and now, you get to see one of the most depressing (and memorable) moments of GoT.
You're on a streak to ruin your innocence as fast as possible I see. XD
No but really Lipps, we all felt that moment.. It shocked me to my core :c
I really am speed running it!!
@@LippsReacts xD power to you!
I had heard of the Red Wedding but like you, I thought it would be happening at Kings Landing outside like some sort of ambush. I was shocked when this happened. 😢 I didn’t know what episode it would be.
One of the best reactions I've seen
Ah the good old cursed 09
5:33 Remember the discussion in s01 between Jon and Sam?
28:03 Congrats you're not a Summer child anymore
The best and most shocking episode in the whole series. Incredible
Yup, one of the craziest episodes on tv for sure…
I chuckled this entire episode idk why.
