the diffrence is Robb should have married a frey girl instead of Talisa, Family advantage vs Happiness and want, Tywin brings up Tyrion as his son, not sending him away to a temple to the maesters or across the sea to essos or disowning him, he gives him the Lannister name, gold, status and is publicly acknowledging him as his son. Tyrion has insane privilege the only things is everyone despises him for his looks and behavior the only family member who loved him were his uncle and Jaime.
5:51 difference being Jamie letting go of his honour and putting family first when he kills mad king and Robb marrying for wish putting his desire first and putting his family last and in danger
Theon knew that if he kept defying Ramsay, he wouldn't get the quick death he sought. Instead he would just keep on torturing him.

I never felt bad for Theon either. He brought this on himself. The actor who plays him did a phenomenal job though

I think we know enough of Theons character that make most people feel bad. He is just very misguided and young and stupid. Being tortured and completely devestated is not something I could not feel bad if its not completely evil character which Theon clearly is not.

The show puts a lot of effort in helping us understand Theon’s motivations when he caves under the pressure of winning his father’s approval and starts making desperate choices to do so (and something to remember too: tho his actions are terrible, remember, this is a brutal world and the Greyjoys are a people who live under a very immoral ethos - so his choices in that light would be the right ones). And also in building sympathy for Theon, first during his regret and remorse, and then thru the torture he endures for so long. Personally, tho, I wouldn’t even want to watch the most evil of characters slowly mentally and physically tortured and would rather see them just be quickly put to death. And I think that’s another thing people miss about Theon: Ramsey will never kill him, but will always come up with creative ways to hurt and break him down. And Theon knows this. THAT is an idea far more frightening than death.
Cersei knows that Joffrey is a monster but he's still her son who she loves.
As Tyrian said, her love for her children is her one redeeming quality. That and her cheekbones...

As great as the show is, it really does vacillate between incredibly cool well done stuff like stannis, davos and melisandre in the meeting at Dragonstone...and then shifts immediately to totally lame cheese, like Dany's freed slave crowdsurfing.

Especially when you compare it to the last time she had one of those triumphant moments....when she rode out of Astapor with the Unsullied who she just won over , they marched out in the columns, with that intimidating music playing, the dragons flying overhead, etc.

Good question and probably. Because we know Shae knew. So this makes total sense to me. *I’ve seen thru season 6 episode 7 so to anyone worried I have seen past where this could be a spoiler*

Tywin is one of the greatest grey character in fiction for me. and surprisingly my fav character in all the series. at least in his essence and the actor choices to portray him. Long live Charles Dance.

Season 4 was my most enjoyable, so you have a treat ahead. When I say most enjoyable, that doesn't mean "best" but it is the most fun to watch.
In my country, the Games of Thrones series was almost banned because it had explicit sexual scenes, nudity and sex. The worst was the sexual scenes of rape and that was a sensitive topic in my country! In Max, for example, before starting the series there is a warning about this topic and the classification is X18 😨
