This is going to seem rude initially, but it will be positive.
I typically choose to not watch ASMR videos where talking isn't happening, it's the voices I really like. That being said, clicking on this video has made me reevaluate my opinion on those types of videos because this is just as relaxing as any spoken video would be. Thank you. This is charming and delightful.

Okay, I was somewhat expecting a Customary Jen Betrayal™ where the mime does the unthinkable and speaks but this is amazingly done, like, 10/10, lovely.
Oh boy, then you probably haven't watched LemonLeaf ASMR's videos because which is probably a good thing as it would probably deter you from wanting to meet any strangers (I already had said problem before then but watching LemonLeaf ASMR's videos increased the problem atleast tenfold so yeah).

@@gabrieldimitrov9587 Same here (atleast sometimes, and when I think of Ratatouille I think about the food aspect of it which in turn makes me think a series called "Food Wars") and just as a random fact: I actually have the movie Ratatouille in Russian lol (to be fair that does make partial sense as both of my biological parents are Russian and if we asked for it my grand-dad on my mom's side could send a Russian version of a book, a movie or something like that to me, my biological mom and my step-dad which is great since it's kind of hard to come by such things in Sweden which is where I was born and still live).

Yeah, i was about to say so (i'm pretty sure you meant to say "*probably would've/would have made this video age-restricted", i'm just saying that as a quick little logic correction), that magazine probably had MHA/BNHA/MVA lewds in it (some of which probably included Himiko Toga plus knifeplay and bloodplay, all three of those being a character/things i hate) lmao.

1. What/How in the world does my profile picture have anything at all to do with my statement?
2. I know that it's tilted 90 degrees to the left (that was through a mistake made when taking the photo which i can't redo) so what's your possible beef with that?
3. Yeah, i'm a fan of Lego even though i'm over 17,5 years old, do you have a problem with that (besides, Lego counts as a 5-99 product)?
I'm NOT (the key-word here being "NOT") saying that i think you play with such or are at that age (for example) but even if you were let's say 50 or so and playing with dolls or something i wouldn't judge you for it

I usually prefer audio triggers since I find they give the strongest tingles and I don’t have to look at the screen, but I just got captivated watching this mime performance. The subtle sound effects also hit that sweet spot where the audio mixing is just right.

Never got the whole "clowns are scary" thing. For my money it's the mimes you gotta watch out for. The make-up and outfit is just as unsettling and you never hear them coming..

People find clowns scary at a young age because the make up tends to be a big smile
But kids get that "something is not right, that smile isn't genuine" feeling, kind of like the uncanny valley feeling
And because they are kids they struggle to understand the feeling and are scared of it.

@@Fontan_ Even some adults don't grow out of that fear, so it's not just kids. I met a girl who was very scared of clowns because the movie IT came on the TV when she was left unattended in a room as a young kid. While clowns aren't particularly scary to me, I can understand that the fear of them is predicated on their human adjacent quality.
Their ability to trap me inside an invisible box is what scares me. That's some powerful wizardry right there.
When was the last time you saw a Mime kill somebody or be a nuisance to the public? Clowns already had the uncanny valley effect, but Pennywise from Stephen King’s it solidified the idea of killer clowns in people’s minds. It doesn’t help that the movie adaptation of his novel predates John Wayne Gacy’s clown costume murders by only a few years.
And just 5 years ago, Halloween was especially terrifying because some hooligans were harassing people in creepy clown costumes.
It might just be me, but Jen's mime totally gives off Joker's henchmen vibes from the '89 Batman. The part before Joker kills that guy with a pen quill. On top of that, there's something about invisible triggers done well that is so tingly. 👍👋😴

I always thought people would be more scared of Mimes than Clowns. A Monochromatic person who only does charades sounds terrifying on paper
A lot of the fear of clowns has to do with the uncanny valley element & people thinking there are ulterior motives behind anybody who makes people happy for a living.
I guess it's because people tend to think the clowns that are too colorful, with a big smile, are somehow deceiving… while mimes are generally just weird, which brings kind of a comforting feeling, clowns don't act weird, they act happy and cheerfully but it doesnt sound sincere… it's kind of uncanny valley
Painted smiles and red eye makeup over a another set of eyes and mouth sounds like a war crime. Clowns are a nightmare.
I guess Mimes just have better rep. When you think of clowns, it's possible to think of many negative examples, such as John Wayne Gacy, Pennywise, or the 2016 killer clown incidents.
Whereas usually I find that when you name mimes, universally I tend to think of young hippie type artists performing in broad daylight in the heart of Paris, and nothing else.
Don't get me wrong, I like clowns. But at the same time the thought of seeing someone who has more happy and pep than a cheerleader, acts way more hyper than a 5 year old who just consumed sugar for the first time, and has a smile that rivals Splendorman himself (look up that guy, he disturbing as heck). Than it's no wonder why I'm not going to be happy seeing one randomly on the streets (especially at night).
But seeing a mime? A person who's quiet, chill, likes a friendly game of charades, and shows different types of emotions (I'll be it dramatically, but not forcefully)?.... Yea I don't mind bumping into one of them randomly at any time of the day.
