An instant favorite. Mechanic/ “Fixing you” style roleplays have long been a favorite and this one is so well done. The concentration, the borderline indistinct chatter, the sounds of the tools without being abrasive, the lighting. You really outdid yourself.
My partner is currently doing a V8 engine swap on his 1970s era car, and let me tell you, this is not an accurate representation of what I hear daily. Why can’t he be this relaxing when he’s working!

So many other "repair" or "fixing" style videos, the artist talks to the viewer and makes them involved in the process and asks questions and stuff, and I personally don't really like that. I love that in this one, it's basically just like you working on a project on an inanimate object. Just you talking to yourself and the sounds of your tools, it's so good.

I’m assuming this isn’t part of the Android/soul extraction series and is instead a stand alone episode but i still really enjoyed it (would love to see more of the other series because the lore going on in those videos is so gooood).
Day 28 after quitting my job at the garage: I am now listening to this for comfort because, well because...I have no idea why I'm watching this but it reminds me of home and tickles my spine. Now if you could just add some impact gun noises and an air compressor, maybe some guys in the background smashing their knuckles and screaming "FUUUCK", possibly a few annoying customers that keep asking questions. Now that would be an Oscar winner right there.

Let's see... Huh, there is a sort of whistling noise coming from the engine when idling, might be a misaligned camshaft belt. The steering is fucked, so we may need new inner and outer tie rods. The radiator is also pretty messed up... Nothing I can't fix though.

Some ideas for the future.... Ratcheting wrenches...... The sound of pouring a jug of oil....... Coulda used a lighter to shrink some heatshrink on the cables
A tip to improve the detail accuracy: in my experience as a mechanic, long nails dont last long and having a ring on is a bad idea because it can get caught in moving parts and/or tight spaces... Other than that, i REALLY enjoyed this!
I know on the caliper part, at the end she stared at it for a second, i know she was looking at it like “why did it not return to 0” i worked in a CNC shop and every caliper i had digital or not, NEVER returned to zero😭
Idk if you've ever read The Lunar Chronicles (if you haven't, I feel like you would enjoy them-- sci-fi fairy tale retellings where Cinderella is a cyborg), but I could totally see you doing a Cinder mechanic roleplay, either at her marketplace shop in the first book or when she's aboard the Rampion later to get some of that spaceship background atmosphere. You would do a fantastic job!
