    Hola! I own the gong droid 7m. And I would like to ask you how much pressure do you put on it? Mine at 6psi flaps a lot and I like it at 8, but don’t know if it’s too much. Nice video! I was sailing same day at bcn base Nautica and wind drops probably same time than Vilassar 🥺

      Buenas! I used to put 6 in them, now I prefer 7. I don't do more because I want them to last long. But maybe 8 is also fine, I'm not sure. I used to windsurf at Base Náutica when I lived in BCN!

    it's cool to have a superpower wing like yours in case of light wind ! It's often the case at my spot so I'm planning to buy one. Just wondering what is your height and weight cause 9 m² seems really huge !

      Yeah, it depends on your foil, board and weight what wing makes sense for you. I weigh 88kg and 1.92m tall. If you are lighter a smaller wing may be fine.

      @@windaddict thanks ! A 7.5 should work for me.

    Great review! How do you think about the weight of the wing?

    • @windaddict

      Thanks! It seems to have the appropriate weight for such a big wing. But I have no comparison. Not sure if the 8m2 wings of other brands like F-one are much lighter. It works well for me and is sufficiently robust. The handles are a bit thinner than on other wings, so I think they tried to save weight in this way.

    hello, helmet cam was good ive seen at one point you had your wing leash entangled to it 😅 it's happen for the fisher encounter i had two , but you got an emotional rollercoaster of a journey haha at leash your finish with a up not with a down with this guy being nice to you. Do you like the gong harness line ? they dont seem to move which is good most of them do and whip your face during manoeuvers.

      Yes, entangling the leash with the camera is now the main problem in maneuvers! 😔 I love the Gong harness lines! First I had one which was weirdly permanently twisted so it was hard to hook in. But the ones I have now are perfect and don't bother me at all.

    with a positive litre board and whitecaps, you could probably have gotten up easily with a 6.5m

      Hmm maybe. I just really like using the smaller board now. Maybe one day with really light wind I will try my 120L Zuma.

    hello one question I weigh 75 kg I have a CWC 8 f one, at the moment I use 1900 X-over can a fluid XXL-T be fine for winds of 7-11 knots? or nothing changes

    • @windaddict
      @windaddict  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Well the X-Over XL has a 4.4 aspect ratio (very low aspect) and is 2.9 cm thick. The Fluid XXL-T has a 5.8 aspect ratio and is 1.8cm thick. The X-Over is closer to a beginner wing, i.e. will be slower and easier. The Fluid XXL-T is more advanced and will be faster (less drag), but harder to get up on foil. So it depends on your level. If you can handle the Fluid, it will probably be better for really light wind overall, especially if you can stay up on foil through maneuvers. But I am no expert, so you should ask the Gong advisors (use contact form on their website).

    Helmet cam was good, however it would be good to see your feet, so maybe put it further forward

      I thought the exact same thing! You will see my feet in the next video! 🤣
