Greetings Biffa, I'm joining the channel along with many others, this is due to you providing this Cities Skylines format that really seems to work and is recommended to me by youtube often, I enjoyed your old videos, but now I feel that it's something I actually return to more often and I am sure I'm not alone. Great Job, Mr. Snurtburgler.
God that transport hub is so aesthetically pleasing, especially for something slapped together by you instead of a premade structure. Bravo, Biffa. Bravo
I recently started watching Overcharged Egg's new series, and I'm really enjoying it. I also recently discovered T4get gaming. Between these 3 channels, I think you get a great mix of CS content and playing styles. Biffa is GOAT though, obviously. There are a few channels, like Flabilaki or whatever, that I find similar but inferior to Biffa. I also don't like channels that are all timelapse. T4get does a little of that, but it's not the whole episode.
The TeaVille series is my favourite content on your channel, love to 'play' vicariously through you because your approach to this game matches very closely to how I think about these styles of games but lack the patience to implement.
How about developing the "Old village" area and the sorroundings into a no car-zone. Only walking and cycling allowed. Could also develop it into a shopping street Would give it a nice feel IMO
Biffa, I LOVE this channel, and I love that you do 90+% CS videos. Many other channels play many other games. You are the best channel for CS, and "along with many others" "I'm sure I'm not alone" in thinking so. "Please consider this".
@@BiffaPlaysCitiesSkylines @roughly 18:34 or so, while talking about the tramabout, you have a roundabout arrow going into your tramabout. BTW, don't worry about haters, i find the videos very entertaining
What is the purpose of the tramabout? I know that Biffa likes roundabouts, but there is absolutely no purpose for it, as he can choose where to send the trams. After writing this comment, I remembered that C:S doesn’t have waypoints like Transport Fever 2
Cities is so satisfying to watch. It's hard to find Gameplay with a good pace it's either fast trash or one very pretty house per episode. You got a good balance going
For Vanilla players, I've recently started building my large boulevards out of parallel one way streets to completely eliminate lane changing. Really handy for industrial areas.
18:30 On the roundabout with the internal tram roundabout, the left lane is for left turn. It should probably be for straight on, since the cars should not enter the tram roundabout.
@@jaroj1112 What do you even mean? If you look at the time stamp Nick mentions then you can clearly see that the left most lane have a lane arrow going into the Tram only road, which makes the lane completly useless and a bottleneck to the trafic. And it's probably on both sides.
Biffa the LUT is so much better now! A more natural look to the greens. Before the city always looked a bit too much "sunsetty"... now its waaay better. I'm sure some of us viewers would appreciate a night cinematic from time to time, the lights and this game look fabulous! Never crossed my mind that you could eat up so much RAM with this game WOW that shi*t's heavy Great video and keep up the great work!
OK, Biffa... here is a CHALLENGE for you! Build a roundabout for every type of mass transit. You've already got the trainabout and the tramabout. I'd like to see a monorailabout, a metroabout, a cablecarabout, and a ferryabout. Busabout and taxiabout would be just sending routes around a regular roundabout, so no real challenge there. Ultimately, make a planeabout by editing the flight paths for incoming flights to circle the airport 2 or 3 times before landing. :-) And your next university in Teaville needs to be built on a circle road... yes, a universityabout! :-) And even if it's only "challenge considered" and not "challenge accepted", thanks very much for your content. Very inspiring and encouraging as you do what you do, step by step.
You can see some of the changes for the tram in the round about at 18:34 has a left turn into the statue for one of the lanes. Simple fix. Good to have your videos back in my subscription feed.
Suggestion with timed traffic lights: If all turning lanes have a dedicated lane to turn into, you can give everyone who it turning right the ability to always have a green light to turn right (if on right-hand drive). This has been a big help to me in using timed lights to solve issues at major intersections.
You can consider banning the heavy traffic in that section. There is a highway entrance (2:57) from above the new factory area but most of the trucks are using the main road to cut through(25:46). I guess if you do that, 30% of the traffic on that road will disappear.
well I am so happy you got your p.c. fixed! I was starting to have Tea city with drawl symptoms! I used to watch a lot of different people play this but am down to only you and 2 others.Just so you know it is a very relaxing way to start my day or end it depending on the day:) so PLEASE keep making your videos! Your voice is so smooth and I enjoy your quick wit and little jokes. Thanks for making my days happier!
Thanks for the mod suggestion Biffa. It's certainly helped smooth out my supply chains a bit. The EDS mod used to really add another dimension to this problem/solution, but since Sunset Harbour it's not worked as well.
Hope to see more from you . Such a great city . I know this will drown in the comments but it would be real cool if you would build a nice national style park at some point
I say welcome back Biffa! Glad to see you have surmounted the challenges! I love what you do with City Skylines. If you happen to be taking requests, I'd love to see you add some ONI back to the mix. Keep on being you, thanks for the great content!
At 17:45 you can see the path you made from the housing to access the tram lines you just built is now blocked off by the fence you made. You need to make a little gap there for people to get through.
27:40 Biffa, you forgot to turn the traffic light back on. Also you should put in an asymmetrical road at the end letting the cars wanting to get out of the little residential area to turn right without any interference, you could also do that for the people wanting to get in too.
Since you have a roundabout on each end, you could, instead of the time traffic lights, disable turning left on the T-junction and only allowing turning right, that way the cars will stop crossing and waiting for crossing one another. It can make the main road a bit busier but it will enhanve the main flow.
I always really love the level of detail you add to areas! Been meaning to get some roundabout statues because they really look good in your city as a focal point. I've also been getting into running fences willy-nilly around high traffic zones and parks. :D
Hey Biifa, your roundabout at 24.45 still needs some Crosswalk, you never put Bridges in but banned the streetcrossing. May help the area when people can walk. But nice city, I love your passion for making it look authentic and real
At 19:39, you can see there is an area of small inner roads that are not actually connected to the main roads. That is why you got garbage issues there :D It is the area just to thr right of the intersection you added in :)
Been really enjoying all the vids covering TeaVille. You've help me learn more about Cities: Skylines and the mods to make things easier. My city builds have improved a lot after watching and I gotta thank you for it.
I really liked the tram, train, monorail hub!!! Please create a beautification tips video for us so we understand how not to go overboard, but create works of art in the black spaces in our cities. (Vanilla and mods). Your videos are nice and relaxing when i get off work. And your mannerism and light hearted goofiness is rather charming. We need more of that in our world. Happy 4th!!! Stay safe and healthy.
I think there needs to be a cut through onto that middle path from both sides as it looks like a substantial walk going back on yourself to get from one side to the other
I have this game, & have been enjoying it quite a bit more since I watch your vids, although you make it look easier than it is in game to create an astheatically pleasing city, and figuring out traffic definitely takes time. I love watching my citizens enjoy & use their city, I actually wish there were more interactions for them to make it all feel more integrated like they did in old sim city games , I'm into simmer type games as general
Hey Biffa, great traffic fix yet again! Congrats on the Urniversity level! Did you see the train jam near Chestnut Park? I think they were cargo trains...
Couple of things I noticed: First it looks like when you put fences in around your homemade monorail-tram-train hub, you blocked off walking access to the buildings next to it like you originally had placed at the start of your path making. Second: The trams that go around your Eco building. Because of the directionality of the one way road around it, the trams cross each others paths going in and out. Maybe not a big deal with the tram load, but something I noticed.
This was the first 4K video I've watched on my new monitor. Thank you very much for all your hard work and effort Biffa, I greatly appreciate you and your channel.
the colours are so bright! the hamilton district is starting to feel a bit neglected, and now your city has grown the airport feels too central, you should move the airport further out of the city and replace with some lovely suburbs.
27:39 Part of the reason you needed to lower the sensitivity is because there's too many lanes there. It's a T-junction, so you only need two lanes coming in, so the third one is mostly unused, which the light sees as reason to move to the next phase.
A thought on your next industrial or commercial area: make the landscaping look organized and planned and fake. I live in Phoenix AZ USA and our landscaping throughout the whole metro area is very organized-looking and not natural at all. You do an outstanding job when you add boulders and decorative places that it almost seems natural and organic, and - dare I say - too nice. Haha. Thanks for the upload Biffa and keep up the excellent work!
I think another thing slowing down the game and making it jumpy is the amount of GPU dedicated memory the game uses. My GPU has 2 GB of dedicated memory and the game uses 1.9 of it (so basicly all of it) and 6.6 to 6.7 GB of RAM alone (10 GB out of 12 in total 😬). The task manager also says that there is a shared GPU memory of 5.9 GB... i don't know where on earth does this come from because it isn't used (only 0.1 GB so... yeah the game doesn't use that for some reason). Since you still have 32 GB of RAM i doubt you have any issue with that. Probably worth checking the dedicated memory usage of your GPU 👍

20:00 and that's exactly why IRL in most European countries it's actually illegal to buiuld a District with less than 3 entrances/exits (as it's the minimum), and the number grows according to the surface and supposed population of the future district ^^
Welcome back! I got a bit worried that there was still no word and then realized that sheesh you were only a couple of days late and maybe took a few days off. Glad you got the problems resolved and hope you get to have some fun days off soon!
Biffa, you can lower your pedestrian crossing a tad. I know the game allows them to use it regardless how steep they are. Also, place more parking lots where people use the public transit systems. You know...a "Park n Ride". Also more parking at shops and offices. Real city planning seems to be more reliable. I have tried just placing stuff "higgily-Piggily" and caused nothing but trouble to my cities, but when I plan where things are, how people move about, seems to be more reliable. Love you videos, just some suggestions is all.
You’re city does look more green a little bit with the different LUT settings but since it’s summer why not keep it that way and then change to fall colours in fall haha
I am glad u got ur city to work again. Nice traffic fix. That little area I though u would have made it a park with the tram. perhaps not enough space? Thanks for video -cheers oh and YELLOW BANANAS!
Forgive me if I'm pointing out something someone else may have pointed out, but, at around 18:30 the round about with the tram has on the left lane, a left turn only arrow, which leads into nothing, so, many of the cars will either take it onto the tram, or, simply ignore it. Thought I'd let you know in case it creates some other weird traffic problem later in the city. The rest of the roundabout seems to be okay, with 2 lanes going straight and the last turning right
I'm not sure if I've said this already or not, but Biffa, I wish I had your patience. Any time I try to beautify an area, or even just go back and update it for the new unlocks at every milestone, I spend about 20 minutes on the project and then give up. I tip my hat to you, good sir.
I started playing city skylines nearly three months ago and watching your videos has helped me so much in building my own ones. Keep up your amazing content!
The Cargo Airport looks like it is perfectly set up now! Hopefully that mod will straighten out the whole not using resources from next door issue and keep those factories humming!!
Biffa, the thing that I most dislike about Teaville is the notion that my city is just not as pretty as yours. :( You have a great eye for details and know how to work very well on small things that just makes a big difference!
I don't know if it's been mentioned, but the inside lane on your new tramabout had the lane arrow point to the left - surely you only want trams going onto the inner roundabout. Great video as allways.
You seemed a little under the weather (no pun attended) during this video (probably due to the heat I assume and the work load/issues you had), so I hope you'll get your groove back on when you can/want ;). I really like that little turn around for the tram with the depot, and I can even see a great spot to turn that into a "Transportation Headquarter," with a bus depot, taxi center and such. While "some" (didn't see that many people) complain about the channel content, I want to point out and counterbalance that I enjoy that you upload a lot of CS : at least I know I can always find some CS video, and to be totally honest, watching you play CS often times relaxes me. I know that my brother does the same thing as me : watch "Fix Your City Traffic" to relax and even have a nap, because nothing more satisfying that watching traffic flowing! Thanks for your work and content ;).
28:10 Looks like you put up a fence that blocks people from walking straight across the tram to the path to the monorail station. But there is a gap on the opposite side that lets access in from the road next to the rails of the monorail station. Not sure that was intended.
I love watching these videos they give me so many idea of what I could do in my city. Unfortunately I have to use the in game mechanics for the traffic since I play on console. Thanks for the inspiration for my city.
Maybe you could get higher % of traffic flow when you fix train jam at 6:07 :) Also if you turn off funding for academic works in your universities you'd save a lot of money.
My biggest pet peeve: Biffa going about the city doing stuff while ignoring a MASSIVE TRAIN BLOCKAGE lol Biffa please pay attention to your trains lol Also that could be one reason for all the traffic in that area? But as always I never miss any video and it's always entertaining and relaxing to watch your them. Teaville is probably the prettiest city I've ever seen and I kinda envy you a little lol. Keep up the great work ^_^
Hello Biffa! We have a tram-about here in New Orleans and have had it for over a hundred years, although it's in the main roundabout. Location is Lee Circle, Howard Street and Saint Charles Avenue, N.O., LA, USA
Biffa, you should edit the roundabout outside the tramabout so that they can't try to turn left onto the tram road. you're limiting traffic by having a lane dedicated to a turn regular vehicles can't make.
Great victory on traffic and tech, congrats mate  I´m glad my advice with production setting higher worked well for you. As I´ve forgot to mention, the traffic is rising a lot in that area by changing it. I´ve found my self solving this with putting at least two production industries near the area of factories, producing just enough resources to supply the needs of each. Also is worth to mention that is important to combine the needs of the factories, like in this case food and plastic production. The industries DLC is a great boost for money making if setup correctly, and solves all the financials in your city. I´ve build it completely with production rate at 150% when I was at 40k population and the bank balance was on 18M :´D My first series with my second city ever will be uploaded as soon as I manage to set up my channel completely, and in this case I have to send you Big Thanks for Inspiring my work. You have a great channel and what makes it different from others is the fact that you are playing the game with money and manage it always to work it out well for the citizens, and I think that this is the way the game is supposed to be played (opinion). Also the care for other players well playing/being is what makes this channel great 👍 Cheers
Hello In these last days, I have followed all the videos of the evolution of Teaville, and I LOVED!! It has seemed to me, like a Season of a Tv Show: D I hope to continue to see it to evolve. I have tried just placing stuff "higgily-Piggily" and caused nothing but trouble to my cities, but when I plan where things are, how people move about, seems to be more reliable. Love you videos, just some suggestions is all.
nice video! so happy that you put another. I wish we could see a new city from scratch, maybe a city with snow
I love the new tram/train/monorail station! However, I think that dirt path right next to it needs some trees or other details.
Highlight of my afternoon so far. Sat down in the office with my lunch, hit refresh and "Oh, a new Biffa"!
Those rails sure do quite a hard edge there at the train-metro-tram station
You’re city does look more green a little bit with the different LUT settings but since it’s summer why not keep it that way and then change to fall colours in fall haha
I am glad u got ur city to work again. Nice traffic fix. That little area I though u would have made it a park with the tram. perhaps not enough space?
Thanks for video -cheers oh and YELLOW BANANAS!

Love CS Content
Grettings from Argentina!
Glad you like them! Thank you :-)
17:29 well placed grassy paths!
The Cargo Airport looks like it is perfectly set up now! Hopefully that mod will straighten out the whole not using resources from next door issue and keep those factories humming!!
Welcome back Biffa! Loving TeaVille! Can't wait to see where the journey goes.
Biffa, your cities are amazing! And your traffic fixing videos helped me a lot with my city.
I wish you a lot of success in your chanel.
Lots of detailing and Elevated zoo paths. Someone watches Overcharged Egg :P
I do now 😁
@@BiffaPlaysCitiesSkylines haha same, from watching you TH-cam suggested him to me haha
Love your video's. At 6:05 seems like your trains are in a traffic jam and backed up. You have to look quickly though.
Hey, Biffa, I don't know if anyone commented on this.
At 18:30, your roundabout has a car lane that lets drivers use the tram road.
Did you actually forget to turn the timed traffic light back on or are you just trolling us again
He did but he responded to someone pointing it out in the comments so it'll be fixed
@@helderboymh
Excellent! I was looking to see if it was already mentioned :)
I love this look more than the old one, to be honest
Maybe you could get higher % of traffic flow when you fix train jam at 6:07 :)
Also if you turn off funding for academic works in your universities you'd save a lot of money.
My biggest pet peeve:
Biffa going about the city doing stuff while ignoring a MASSIVE TRAIN BLOCKAGE lol
Biffa please pay attention to your trains lol Also that could be one reason for all the traffic in that area?
But as always I never miss any video and it's always entertaining and relaxing to watch your them. Teaville is probably the prettiest city I've ever seen and I kinda envy you a little lol. Keep up the great work ^_^
Hello Biffa! We have a tram-about here in New Orleans and have had it for over a hundred years, although it's in the main roundabout. Location is Lee Circle, Howard Street and Saint Charles Avenue, N.O., LA, USA
as a suggestion, you should have a tram stop at the end of that old time shipping district.
27:12 biffa trolling us again with leaving this this timed traffic light off xD
Biffa, you should edit the roundabout outside the tramabout so that they can't try to turn left onto the tram road.
you're limiting traffic by having a lane dedicated to a turn regular vehicles can't make.
Great victory on traffic and tech, congrats mate
I´m glad my advice with production setting higher worked well for you.
I´ve build it completely with production rate at 150% when I was at 40k population and the bank balance was on 18M :´D
My first series with my second city ever will be uploaded as soon as I manage to set up my channel completely, and in this case I have to send you Big Thanks for Inspiring my work.
You have a great channel and what makes it different from others is the fact that you are playing the game with money and manage it always to work it out well for the citizens, and I think that this is the way the game is supposed to be played (opinion). Also the care for other players well playing/being is what makes this channel great 👍
Cheers
Hello
In these last days, I have followed all the videos of the evolution of Teaville, and I LOVED!!
It has seemed to me, like a Season of a Tv Show: D
I hope to continue to see it to evolve.
I have an idea for the name of the Neighborhood on Channels - "T-Bags"
Because they are squares and you put them in water :D
Keep up the good work!!
Yes, back! Fix that traffic :-) Hope everything is alright now :-D
It is thank you :-)
That speedboat cargo ship, though.
Really love the train/monorail station details!!
18:26 the arrow on the roundabout is pointing into the tramabout!
I believe this is the third time the title video changed, but the content never disappoint me. Now I have the time to sit back and enjoy 😎
