I love, I absolutely love how Super Hans raises his voice when he says "Just mong out"...he's clearly stressed, he's disturbed, he just wants out.
That´s when you know it really is that bad... and that they were actually "doing it".
Matt King is a great actor, he always delivered super hans’ lines perfectly and with a lot of charisma

I was Super Hans, drugs, crack, raves, staying awake for few days at a time with a dose of Jez, now I've come down and I'm becoming Mark. Really, it's mental. Gave up drugs, rarely drink, stopped smoking and now I'm studying again for a degree. You can now catch me listening to Hardcore History instead of doing hardcore drugs. Although I do miss the mad sessions.

It's either this, spin the bottle, or Jez pissing himself at the wedding for my nominations for best scene in Peep Show.
I love how this scene leaves it up to viewer's imagination about what was going on in there. Especially if someone like Super Hans couldn't handle it and the look on Jeremy's face too lol.
Don't worry I'm sure Hollywood will find some way to ruin it and explain what was going on by stretching it into a feature length movie.

What makes it work so well is how real the characters seem. The 3 of them play there roles to perfection and it just works. Add on the concept of the party they can't handle and you've got pure genius right there.

It's like when a group of friends witnesses there tough mate get beat up, so they all agree to call it a night and go to there nans for soup and never talk of the evening again.

@@harrydrake4173 I agree. Super Hans is just too 'Off the wall' for the show to revolve around him, far better to have him popping up in random cameo, where we find out some shocking facts about his life. Making him the main star would destroy the air of mystique that surrounds his character.

It's one of the rules of comedy - be specific. It somehow makes things funnier. See if you can notice it, you'll spot it everywhere.

No American show would have such a diverse cast of characters hanging out together, but in England these kinds of weird friendship dynamics are rife in the real world.
I really wish sometimes I could be as optimistic and happy as Jez is before he opens THAT door.

I started as jez, turned into super hans and reformed my ways and am definitely now a mark

I heard there may be a new series in the works of them as their older selves. I haven't looked it up as I pretty much hate the internet - unless I need a plumber (that's Mark) or to look for a part-time workshy job (Jez) so this is from my brother. He's a fan so it could well be true. It's one of the few series I think could work in that respect. Back in its day there was a clamour for that from Spaced fans but I like to imagine them just as they were.
I imagine the scene inside SuperHans’s flat is something like the Tapeworm nightclub in the movie Irreversible
