All your videos are amazing and helpful, Small correction bro..... Bending towards gravity is positive bending movement so mid la tha positive bending movement....corners la varadhu negative movement ✌️
You have explained well. This is the first time, I am watching your video and after I've watched this video, subscribed immediately. I don't have an engineering background, but aspiring to learn civil engineering concepts and start a construction firm in future. Please put always a detailed video like this and it will help to learn those who haven't had technical knowledge.

If we get -ve bending moment we providing main bars what about for shear reinforcement? If we get +ve b.m we are providing Extra stirrups??? I didn't get you can you clear b/w why lesser spacing in the stirrups and when we provide higher number of bar in case of +ve and -ve b.m please

Respected Kavin, now I'm dealing with a residential project in Tirupur. It has got fixed beam of clear span 19 ft with two beams proped beams sitting on either side of that 19 ft fixed beam at mid.... my consultant just gave 9"×21" for that 19 ft fixed beam and 9"x18" for proped beams. With 20mm as main rods and 25 mm for curtailed rods.....Any suggestions for this case ?
Totally your video is nice and very clear.. How to grasp easily huge content of sp 34? To be a good desinger should well verse in R.C.C, PEB, Timber structure all in the most demanded one..but which one need to concentrate? Can you give some tips?
Sagging will come in the centre of the span that's the Positive Bending Moment...... And Hogging is said to be Negative Bending moment that's come only in the supports.... That's the concept for the Horizontal members like SLAB and BEAM..... Be thorough with the Structural concepts and explain it
Yes you are right about hogging and sagging. But you have to understand the concept used by the designer with the positive and negative bending moment. For example, a positive bending moment is always drawn as negative in the diagram to represent it logically but we all know that the moment direction will be opposite to that of the force. So whats important to know is the magnitude of the moment. In the video it is quite understandable I think, it is just a simple get to go explanation given by the presenter. And your last line is unnecessary buddy. Be careful in saying so before knowing it yourself.
@@viveksathya2778 ok fine Buddy... Then You say the right meaning of the concepts...... I want to ask u one question....How will we differ the Beam as Fixed Beam and Pinned Beam....?
Yes ur correct…but if you know staddpro software kindly check the fixed beam bending moment…after applying load where the positive and negative moments coming…
Content Quality is Extraordinary 😌
☺️
For training engineers like me this is very useful information and in future upload more videos sir. Thanking you
Thank you bro ☺️

Sir, main beam oda center portion (tension area) la adequate reinforcement kudutha mattum pothatha, does anche Rod prevent Shear crack
Sir I have one doubt if beam Depth is 2 feet and Above What is the reinforcement details?
Bro ithula beam laying pannumpothu column la inter cross aguthula antha place la yan King adikuraga rod aha
If Rod dia is more that 16,20 mm if we take it outside of column we cannot get cover …so only in some place they will take inside the column ☺️
Can you suggest any best book for structural detailers

Dear kavin sir u have told beam main rods top and bottom should be with "L" ...May I know the reason and why it is required?
For Ductility reasons
