What Is An Annular Solar Eclipse?

The 2023 eclipse is an annular solar eclipse, which occurs when the moon is farthest away from the Earth. A “ring of fire” will be created in the sky when the eclipse reaches its peak on Saturday.

Hope you didn't look at it without eye protection. You can't view an annular with the naked eye.

I live in Florida the eclipse reached it's final stage around three pm . Upon such completion , I did not see in the sky a profile o've the moon like that in a sunny day . Why ?
