    Great! So when you said not to set a tROAS or tCPA the first 3 months, which bidding strategy we should use? Max clics? Or just Max conversions but not tCPA selected?

    Thank you for this Bidding strategy training!!! tROAS finally makes sense! I do have 1 question from your real-life example at the end for tCPA...Why did you set the tCPA so much higher than the stabilized value? I was following everything until I saw that example. Can you help me with this? Thank you, Patty

    We have an old account that has enough conversion data and we are planning to add some more campaigns (different products that haven't been targeted yet). What bidding strategy should I take for my next campaign? Please guide me.

    Great video Aaron, thanks for providing such value! It would be really helpful to have your view on a relevant subject, which regards the best approach to add new ad groups to a campaign that has already switched to TROAS. Could this have a negative impact on the campaign's performance? Should we consider starting a new campaign instead of adding new ad groups after going smart? But it is common that new search queries, typically phrase matches of included terms start converting, so wouldn't make sense to add an ad group that better coheres with these queries? Thanks!

    • @Nafirul-ads
      @Nafirul-ads 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yes, it's advisable to contact me for the latest insights on adding ad groups post-TROAS switch. While there may be risks, adapting to new search queries suggests creating tailored ad groups could enhance performance.

    Great video. I was running search camp for service base business initially i got enough clicks and conversions but after few days it starts saying "Limited by bid strategy". Also my CPC increased on 20$ but it was on 5$ when i was getting good results. Please tell me what's the solution and how can I fix it?

    Hi Aaron, thanks for such an insightful video! I created some brand new campaigns one month ago and had previously set the CPA after two weeks. I removed the CPA after watching this video, hope that is the right move? And what if I have some older campaigns but just recently completely changed the targeted keywords and ads copy, should I also go without CPA for a while?

    • @Nafirul-ads
      @Nafirul-ads 6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      for personalized advice, but generally, adjusting CPA after initial setup aligns with optimizing campaigns. For older campaigns with significant changes, temporarily avoiding CPA can help gauge performance with the new adjustments.

    Hey Aaron, thanks for the great video and the information. I got a question: We often get accounts where they use the old "Target-ROAS" bidding strategy, in that case how would you proceed? Would you switch to maximize conversion value with the old target roas or would you go for maximize conversion value without a roas and adding a roas when you get stable results? Thanks alot!

    • @Nafirul-ads
      @Nafirul-ads 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I appreciate your feedback. For accounts using old "Target-ROAS," I suggest transitioning to "Maximize Conversion Value" initially. Once results stabilize, consider reapplying a ROAS for more refined optimization. Feel free to reach out for further details.

    I understand why you need to wait 3+ months to set a tCPA or ROAS but I only do short-term campaigns (2-3 weeks max) for upcoming shows at the venue I work with. What would you recommend?

    Hey Aaron. I have a campaign that was paused for approx 4 months that was previously on Max Conversions (Target CPA). Can this be turned back on safely or is it required to go through the process again of starting with a Max clicks strategy to build the data back? I'm just not sure how Google handles this circumstance where it has the historic data but was interrupted.

    Does this work with Manual CPC as well? I set my bid to $25 CPC. But the Average CPC I get is $14. Is it okay if I just match the Max CPC to the Average CPC?
    Thank you so much! Been watching you for more than a year now.

      Just create new campaign and let it run on Maximise click or CPC Enhanced, until you get 25-30 conversion in 30 days window. Once you get it switch the campaign to automated bidding.

    If we did setup a target ROAS since the start (bad practice) should we remove the target ROAS from the existing campaign or start a fresh one with your method?

    • @Nafirul-ads
      @Nafirul-ads 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Consider reaching out for tailored advice. Removing the target ROAS from an existing campaign might disrupt performance. Discussing your specifics will help determine the best course, potentially involving adjustments rather than starting anew.

  • @ashaykamble6118

    What happens if we directly increase targets - say from a current ROAS of 2 to a target ROAS of 8? I get it we should do it gradually, but what exactly happens if we do it gradually vs if we directly let Google's algorithm adjust for target of 8?

    • @AaronYoungGoogleAds
      @AaronYoungGoogleAds  6 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      In this situation (usually) you would see a quick reduction in spend and total conversions as Google would try to only find conversions that provide a ROAS of 8. The long term problem being that eventually this campaign would become dormant due to no activity.

    • @Nafirul-ads
      @Nafirul-ads 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Swiftly boosting ROAS targets can disrupt the algorithm's learning. Gradual increases allow for smoother adjustments, helping Google's algorithm adapt without causing drastic fluctuations. Any more questions?

    • @Nafirul-ads

      Deleting a target CPA setting after a week won't ruin your campaign. Google Ads allows adjustments. Monitor performance, tweak settings if needed, and feel free to contact me for guidance

    But how much do you trust google ads tracking attribution of conversions? I heard that Google Ads is like 70% accurate on it's conversion, scary stuff.

    • @AaronYoungGoogleAds
      @AaronYoungGoogleAds  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      It will never be 100% so what you look for is a trend that you are comfortable with for example if Google Ads is reporting 700% ROAS but in real terms it is 500% you use that as your guide. What you really want to know is if you increase your budget by 20% are you seeing a higher increase in revenue & profit

  • @turtlaturtla8787
    @turtlaturtla8787 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

    Hey Aaron , I have one question. What should be the lowest Optimization Score of Google ads? Because I have a campaign that will be only one month old in 3 days. And for like first 2 weeks my score was pretty good around 85%. But then Google recommended me 2 things. First is "Bid more efficiently with Maximize conversions" and second is "Adjust your budgets". Because of these 2 things my Optimization Score dropped to 60% and one day it was even under 60%. Now how can I change this? I can not apply "Bid more efficiently with Maximize conversions" because as I said my campaign is not even 1 month old and you just said that you would not do anything with bidding strategy for at least 3 months. And I also can not apply "Adjust your budgets" because first of all they are recommending me budget that is twice as much as I have now and I do not have money for that currently. And second of all in your other videos you said that we need to set high enough budget so we have at least 10 clicks a day. And on average I have 10 clicks a day so I see no reason to actually adjust my budget at this moment. So is 60% Optimization Score of Google ads OK? Or not?

    • @Nafirul-ads
      @Nafirul-ads 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      A 60% Optimization Score on Google Ads is not ideal, but it's manageable. Focus on improving your campaign relevance, ad copy, and landing page experience. Address the recommended changes gradually as your campaign matures. Keep monitoring performance, make small adjustments, and consider consulting Google support for tailored advice. Feel free to reach out if you need further assistance.
