They give Sam the time he wants on camera but even then everyone has no idea how much he alone has made the channel for lifelong subscribers. You could make a series having Sam talk about lawn maintenance and I'd watch it repeatedly.

It’s amazing to see them go from a group of guys who built some cool shit to race at the track to the McFarland racing team it is today. For example, cleeter had Kevin smith build the chassis on mullet and he used to have Texas speed build all his engines for him. Now he’s got tye who can build the chassis’ Zach and Sam to build the engines. Jackstand to drive and get things dialed in. And George to add the much needed commentary😂😂. They took McFlurry from a rolling body to a full blown race car in like two weeks that ran 8s right off the trailer

In case anyone was wondering, Brian Wolfe, who has lately been known for all things Godzilla, has a long history with Ford. In the 2000s he was the head of Ford's racing programs and later was promoted to Ford's worldwide director of power train development.
Even further back he was helping the racing community with 5.0L knowledge and parts in ~1986 and onward. He had a 1986 Fox with a 347 - back when that was something built and not bought.
I've recently become aware of Brian Wolfe from watching REVan Evans channel. Tons of Godzilla content!

Sam is such a legend. Amazingly detail oriented man. Always got a smile on his face. Little water spill from the radiator, Sam is immediately cleaning it up. Transferring his machinist knowledge to Zack, probably telling him tricks and tips. He is such a valuable asset to the team. I was a CNC machinist for 8 years and trust me...I wish there was someone that would have taught me all the little tricks I learned along the way the hard way, and all the tricks I still don't know :)
Think it get's forgotten sometimes that Sam is an old school hot rodder and really know his stuff. I'm glad he decided to come around with them, he's clearly having fun!
You and your team are literally extending Sams life. Its awesome to see him in the videos. Im sure he's awesome to have around but over the last year or so, you can see Sam just brighten up. 2 ways street of happiness im sure but great to see!

Was thinking the same thing....the last couple of years have brought a major "boost" to the entire team with the additions to the staff. Its truly amazing because any business owner will tell you just how hard it is to find good, reliable people to work for you.
The best episodes on this channel have a lot of footage of Sam. Time to make him a main character and make sure he gets plenty of coverage.
