It comes with Warne rings, but the mounts on this rifle sit too close together and do not allow for easy mounting. Thank you.
Been looking a getting a prismatic sight (3x or 5x) cause of my eyesight. With this being glass etched would this fall in the same category? Or best to use with only one eye open? Looking close to mid range.
Yes, a glass etched optic will be clear for anyone. You will have to adjust the diopter, but that is standard on any scope/prism optic. Great for people (such as myself) with an astigmatism.
Let me start by saying I’m from California. I have a vortex strikefire II and have recently put it away along with what’s it’s mounted on. Since it’s gonna be a while before I can safely take it out again, do I need to take out the battery? Or if I do take it out, will I have to re-zero my strikefire when I do put the battery back in?

If you went with a cantilever style mount for your platform you would only notice the front sight when on the lower magnifications. Once you increase the magnification you would zoom right past it.
Yes and no - eye relief won't actually change, but perceptively it will. That is why it's important to set your eye relief when mounting at the highest magnification (in this case 8x). If you can get it set properly there it will be good throughout the rest of the magnification range as well.
