Saw it earlier and it's got me unbelievably hype lol. I'll chill down so I don't get let down. Trusted Eiyuden Chronicles and it was just ok not a bad game but expected much better from the trailers that they showed and who they are.

Almost reminds me of Sea of Stars; which is a good thing! Lately, I've been enjoying these types of games! I really love the pixel, full 2d cel-shaded and 2.5D style! Very simple, but very beautiful at the same time. Every now and then I like to take a break from playing hyper realistic 3D games.

this is what triple A company should be making. Not some overly realistic graphics with bland scenery and gameplay. Gamers need art, great music, story and gameplay. Idk why they can't make a game like this considering their budget.
This Trailer looks promising. From this trailer alone, it hits my JRPG meter at 50% checking art and music. SUPER EXCITED!

Maybe it's just me, but I thought the character design wasn't as charming as some of the other games I have seen. But other than that, I thought everything else looked amazing at a glance, amazing design for everything else as well as amazing art. :D

Looks good but the story of chrono trigger is what sets it apart. Wish they would remake it instead of making a game that may be similar. We'll see how it turns out

Something about this just doesn't connect with me. It absolutely looks gorgeous and amazing and all that.. but it also looks like it hews so closely to Chrono Trigger that (at least based on this trailer) it doesn't feel like it's own game. It's just like "Hey, let's just remake Chrono Trigger but with modern tech" and while that's cool to some extent it's also kind of creatively bankrupt. Maybe once we see and hear more the game will develop it's own identity but for now I'm feeling like I can just go back and play CT again if I really want to.
