the new essie formula is my ideal polish consistency. not too thick, not too thin, self leveling, easy to work with. with thin formulas i always always always end up flooding my cuticles 😆
I love the entire collection!!! The colors are gorgeous in person, and I love the shimmers! The red is a very rose red, like real roses and the red that is natural to roses. The other cremes are very beautiful as well! Just a stunning collection overall!

Try the 3 shimmers over black!! 😱😍 I got my color pass yesterday and had to try it, and it was definitely worth it!! The shimmers are even more stunning when paired over black! I enjoy a thinner formula simply for this reason: versatility. I can use these as toppers or build them up to full opacity. I honestly think it takes me around the same time to do my manicure regardless of whether it's 2 thicker coats or 3 thinner coats. Really enjoyed this color story and was pleasantly surprised to see I enjoyed the pinks, which is usually my least favorite

I can really see the progression of spring in this collection. I am excited to try them all but I have noticed the change in formula recently in Orly polishes, they have become thinner for sure.

I found the polishes in this collection to be on the thin side as well, and would have preferred them to be just a wee bit thicker, but I didn't find them awful to apply. I have been really happy with the last three Color Pass boxes and hope I continue to be for this year!
My Color Pass expired before this collection and I'm SO glad I waited to re-up because I don't care for any of these (the Scenic Route type one is the only one I like but stil, 3 coats??). I'll have to see what Summer brings us before I decide if I'm going to resubscribe.

I guess if it's a polish that requires 3 coats for full effect on a finish I'd definitely prefer the polish to be on the thinner side. Not a fan of 3 coaters unless it's a beautiful polish, and for me these totally qualified!

Opposites Attract is my favorite. As long as they are not watery, I don’t mind thin coats if the eventual result is a beautiful color. But if I’m in a hurry, I’ll pick a thicker formula to have the whole process go easier and quicker.
I like the colors, but like others have said, I’m not much into 3 coaters (although at least Orly gives us a good brush instead of a toothpick with 2 hairs on the end lol). Janixa, are the blues hard to remove? I thought they were glitters (I already know the bonus items coming in the box).

Wow, you got this review up quick!! :) Opposites Attract looks like the same formula as Metamorphosis. While I LOVE the color/shiftiness, it chipped so easily because of how thin the formula was. So I totally get it.

I don't usually like blue polish, but I love the dark blue. I prefer a formula that's somewhere in the middle. Not too thin, but I also hate super thick polishes. But I also don't really like doing three coats for a creme finish. That's annoying.

I hold Orly to a very high standard now bc the Surrealist collection set the bar so high. It was perfection. Spring colors just aren’t my jam. But I loved Oh darling.
While I like the shimmers in theory and appreciate that it's not just all creames, I know I would probably rarely wear them. I also think the shimmers are more winter appropriate. I do like the creams, especially 'Oh my Darling '. Btw I love the name 'Meet Cute ' because it reminds me of a quote in my favorite movie 'The Holiday' :) I'm curious: how does 'Oh my Darling ' compare to Essie's 'Burning Love ' from their Valentine's Collection? I didn’t find any issue with the brush. It’s a paddle brush and those are usually my preferred brushes.
I prefer a thinner formula since it seems to dry quicker. That being said, I need more coats for coverage because of my nail length

I bought orly for the first time. Can't say I love it. It peeled off within hours. I let it dry 15 mins between coats. Am I doing something wrong???
It could be how you’re prepping your nails before the manicure. But it could also be your body chemistry not meshing well with Orly’s formula.
