I’m pretty sure because high quality microphones in good conditioned rooms so the sound comes out good either way and they use physical tools to get the sound good before it goes into the DAW
Whoa. Nice analogy with the house. Made understanding the EQ quite clearer for me, so you have my thanks. Very nice short, yet to the point video. Just what I was looking for. You have my like and sub!
Instantly stop at 0:10 to say, it's not that I dont know what to do with it, I just can't seem to get the sound I want... or maybe my lil beat just sucks.
This is very simple and I feel very stupid for not figuring it out cuz I kept sitting there trying to adjust volume so that my total volumes would equal like the value that I had chosen for 100% as far as lmdecibels is concerned and it does not work to do it that way lol. It ends up sounding roughly the same even if you make one thing like 20% the volume of something else
Man u deserve way more subs Tymon I have 2 channels and subbed on both of them...bin following u from when u only had 100 subs...don't worry ur gonna get 10k soon.
How do you cut off some frequencies then slowly transition to the original frequencies? I’ll give an example. th-cam.com/video/TrnUKfSg_kg/w-d-xo.htmlsi=ilrHl8uJxBlcQf9t at 2:15 of this song the melody fades in in a certain way. How you do that?
Boo im not tryna be a hater but if you dont know how to open effects you should study ur daw more and watch some more basics videos ab ur daw. This is a beginner vid fs but like come on To open eq, route a track to a mixer channel, open your mixer, click on the channel, select an effect on the right hand side where it says slots. Open fruity parametric eq 2. Alternatively if you wanna eq the master, click the master channel and open the effect there and itll affect everything in your project
The funniest thing about this is that actual mix engineers (clearmountain, cla, etc)'s EQ setups look like the "stage 1" part of the thumbnail.

where to hear this beat?
do you put your eq on your master or individually onto certain instruments?
I don't know much but I'm pretty sure you do it individually for the instruments.
ask bard/chat this and it explains this pretty well

Where to find what exactly?

You don't have to worry about eq'ing if you don't even know how to open it. Learn the DAW first.
bruh, video could have been cool if u first showed how to open this thing
