10mm Nut Driver: To remove the 3 10mm bolts mounting the door panel.

Pick tool set: this is helpful to remove small plastic caps and covers without damaging them.

T30 Torx T Handle: To remove the 3 T30 Torx bolts that mount the door latch to the door.

Dude this was the best video on the actuator r and r. No need to remove the handle and removing the guide rail nut saves your knuckles. Did mine no sweat

I had my rod wrong and I have to replace the passenger side cable too😢😅😂 thanks so much BRO. My handle are different and I have a hard time getting the cable out😮

At the time 0:29 that long door lock rod, mine is struggling to go up and down. Does that mean I need a new actuator?
I had originally took the door apart to fix the door handle from the inside that wasn't opening the door. So the cable was broken. Replaced it. And now that rod is having problems going up and down when I hit the lock/unlock switch.
Why can't shit just go simple when working on cars. Always some bs happens....

This won’t work for a 14 bud, the 14 model is already the new body style it requires more work to replace. 07-13 this works just fine...
early 14 models

How ever the problem I have is my door won't open.
All rods work....
lock rod, exterior rod, and interior rod.
I fixed it twice already.
I Removed door panel, Door opened up when I manually pulled the exterior door rod. After that it worked perfectly, feom inside and outside. until I placed the door panel back on. Then it stopped working again.
Fixed it twice at this point, and now on my 3rd time. Lol
Any ideas?

@@alanpiaskowski9362 Did you figure it out? Same thing here. I have replaced it twice. The second time the lock wasn't unlocking all the way until I got it to lift. Then it wouldn't lock until it took off the panel and now it works
