That clip was the only thing I couldn’t figure out, you made it look easy! Which it was, I just needed needle-nose pliers to pinch and pull it out. The bolted part is secure however the pull handle comes all the way out. Like its not attached to anything.. Ive ordered a new handle and will replace it when it arrives. This video is great - really helped me with the plastic clip inside the door - I might have broken the clip if I had not watched this. After replacing the handle - now I am realizing the handle was only one part of the problem.
Having hard time tracking down replacement bolts only. Saying only come with full new panel. Possibly know where boltS can be obtained or equivalent? Excellent video/direction!! Thank You!!
I did this on my 07' Cadillac escalade passenger side and everything was put back correctly but whenever I go to lock it with the key fob, the door does not open. neither the inside nor outside door handle will open the door. I keep having to unlock it manually with a rod through the window panel. Any ideas on why this is happening?

I'm having trouble popping off the door panel, is there a trick to how you are pulling/bracing the door? I've gotten everything else off exactly as you've shown. It's nice to be doing this with my daughter and showing her that we can do this.
Once you have all of the bolts out you need to pry the bottom of the panel away from the door, the clips have to be pulled out before the panel can be lifted off.
My rear passenger side handle isn't working. Can I use this video for the rear door handle as well? Also, the window will not roll up back there, it will roll down but not up. The driver has to roll it up. Is there something I can fix while I have the door undone to do the handle? Thank you so much for your video!
All of the doors are practically the same, so yes, you can use this video to do the other doors on your vehicle. As for your window issue, it sounds like you need a new window switch. The switches are sold 3 ways, 1) with a graphic (of a window on it) 2) with no graphic 3) with LED lighting and with a graphic

So recently the outside door handle went out but it worked from the inside now a couple days later the inside door handle goes out and the door doesnt want to open should i replace just the outside hand or the whole door system?
So you could shut the door and test the handle. You want the window down in case the door handle is not adjusted properly or something is not correctly connected and it will not open, then you can pull the cable by hand that connects to the inside door handle to open the door and will not be stuck wondering how to get in the vehicle with a shut door that will not open.
Nothing, it stuck to the metal on its own. If yours will no longer stick you can use a product from 3M called Strip Caulk. It is a long strip of black material that is very sticky and weather resistant. It is commonly referred to by mechanics as "dum dum" because they use it to help fix stupid mistakes they make.
I have found a small about 6in long guide for the glass window it looks as if it has a screw that fell out. I hope you know what I am referring to? 9:48
The rod goes in the holder, then you pull down on the rod to remove the slack, but not enough to actuate the handle, then close the locking clip on the rod.

You can remove the door panel with the door closed. Once it is loose lift straight up, being extremely careful not to break anything.
Is the repair for the back door handle similar to the front passenger??

If you have slack you need to reset the rod in the clip at the latch. It should "naturally" fall in to place in the correct position.

Actually, no, it's not a matter of getting locked out - it's more about adjustment if it doesn't open. Took me a sec, but I got there....
When u just “pop” the yellow clip on the lock rod with no explanation. I’ve been stuck on it for an hour.
I am sorry I didn't reply sooner. The yellow clip opens like a door swinging from the inside of the door towards the outside of the vehicle.
