    just purchased a 2020 3500 a dealership and will be replacing all filters, including oil. thank you for the video. a great help.
    and no, i don't trust the dealerships to do a complete replacement of oil and filters when selling used vehicles.

    Thanks Bob, this is the best video I’ve found on changing the top fuel filter on TH-cam. They wanted 420.00 to change the 2 filters. Stealerships for sure. Do you have a Mopar or Fleetguard part number by chance or where do you source your filters at? Thanks much sir.

      I used OEM parts 68157291AA and 68436631AA for the fuel filters. Usually do an internet search to find the best price when I am able to plan ahead. Hope this helps, thanks for watching.

    I followed your instructions on the rear filter and it worked great. Much more room there. I tried the front filter but apparently Andre the Giant screwed the cap on. With limited room I was unable to budge it at all :( Looks like I'll have to take it into a shop to do it. Poor design IMHO by Ram in the front. Thanks!

    2:18 the design of front and rear one should improve, no matter how you drain it, when you take off the cap, always spill out some fuel.

    • @funbro1

    Nice Video…..would you recommend doing the prime step after changing each filter or after doing both? Or don’t you think it would really matter either way? Thanks

    • @funbro1
      @funbro1  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, I would do it after each change. It doesn’t hurt.

    Filter seems stuck i push in but in dosnt appear to move i turn and turn and pull and pull but it will not lift out.

    • @funbro1
      @funbro1  ปีที่แล้ว

      It does “click” into place but it should lift out pretty easily. I’m not sure why it would not come out?

    Bob, do you know or think the same instructions apply to a 2021 Ram 2500? Great video, like that you are specific on what hoses and socket you used, watched both the front and rear filter videos.

      @funbro1  2 ปีที่แล้ว

    Is it ok to just change the front? Isn’t there a back filter also?

    • @funbro1
      @funbro1  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yea there is a back filter as well, I would recommend changing both at the same time. Here is a link for changing the back filter.

    Nice video , but that was probably $40 in fuel in that bottle 😂🤣😂🤣

    • @funbro1
      @funbro1  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      When the video was made it was probably only $20 in fuel but since the “stealership” charges $400ish for a job like this I still saved money.

    Can you use silicone lube for the O-rings or is diesel sufficient ?

    • @funbro1
      @funbro1  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I would stick with fuel since it’s easily available. But silicone grease coils work.

    Great video otherwise.
