      I did get one channel fired up, and working on the other, more burned up one. The fun never stops! :)

    Reminds my of the 80s when a buddy called me up to help him reinstall the cylinder head on his Chrysler slant 6. When he took it apart, he just threw all the nuts and bolts in a five gallon bucket.

      You know it! It's always a challenge to go in after someone else. Humans do some unpredictable stuff, especially when it comes to electronics. 😁

      Thanks Roro. It really shouldn't be too bad. Not like an NAD integrated I worked on a few years ago. That one had 2 ribbon cables swapped, but what really threw me was the fact that the previous tech had changed out the power switch, which was momentary contact with a latching switch. The amp was remote capable, and the latching switch locked up the microcontroller. Only thing that tipped me off was using the remote to turn it on worked fine!
