    Homemade Mayo recipe:
In a bowl: 1 large egg+ 1yolk, 3/4 tsp dry mustard, 1/4 tsp paprika, 2 Tbsp lemon juice, 1 Tbsp white vinegar, 16 oz light EVOO, 1/2 tsp salt, 1/4 tsp pepper, 1/4 tsp garlic powder. Mix everything with a hand mixer or stick blender till desired thickness. Cover and Refrigerate.
(Season how you like, this is what I do) If it separates in a few weeks, just stir back together! I mix all this in a mason jar and use a stick blender.

I saw a natural doctor 40 years ago and I found out that my immune system was very low due to taking so many antibiotics, so he told no carbohydrates, no mayo, salad dressing, no sugars. He told to eat until full, but meats, vegetables, salads, no dairy,, some good fats. I lost weight, my face clear out of dark spots and I had so much energy. He gave me supplements to build my immune system, and gave me probiotics.
I started keto system because it is so similar to the program i did 40 years ago because of the elimination of carbohydrates and sweets,. I have loss 2 dress sizes and I been doing a herbal cleanse, and been taking probiotics and I feeling so much healthier. I am 72 years old and I know that I will live a longer life because of this food program.. please do more videos on improving your health with food.

Girl! This is me right now. Just starting to change my life around. It’s a lot, thank you for sharing because it’s a little bit of a lonely experience because either it’s not common or no one talks about it OR people are so used to feeling the crap that they tune out that they are actually sick. Yesterday I felt the most mental clarity I’ve felt in YEARS. Keep sharing please 😘

Wow! Great topic. I was suffering from all sorts of depression and anxiety and they just kept pumping me with pills ( which led to other health issues which led to more and more pills). I finally said "enough" and went to a naturopath. I had leaky gut and my gut microbiom was all sorts of out of wack. Once I started keto and then veered over to carnivore almost ALL problems were fixed. I can not believe the doctors don't talk about it or dont even know about it. My naturopath ( who used to be a licensed doctor in a hospital) told me that many studies say 90% of are serotonin is actually from our gut. Pretty amazing! Love your channel!!! @@reinatarango8515 Well at the time with my hypo thyroid issue I took Icelandic Sea Kelp regularly, Selenium in the form of Brazilian nuts, and a beef liver capsule. I also became very strict on NO sugar/carbs/fruit ( however was still eating plants and meat. So I am not sure if it was the combo, or what....I also cut out most dairy except buttermilk, hard parm cheese and goats cheese. So something I did worked for me there. The person I was listening to at that point was a man named DR. Berg on y tube.

I had my thyroid removed when I was 19. I'm 61, now, and have been pretty lucky over the years with keeping things in balance. My reccomendation to everyone is to find a doctor who listens and treats YOU and HOW YOU FEEL, instead of just continously stating that you're within the ideal range, number-wise. I now have a doc that understands that I function exponentially better when my tsh value is way down on the low end. If I get over 3, I pretty much just grind to a halt. Thanks for your candor about your journey, Myra!

Thank you for sharing. I have a very similar story and thats what put me on the same journey you're on, I'm still dairy free ish other than experimenting now with ghee. I have psoriasis since I was little and I've tried different diets and was vegetarian for a decade in my teens then I incorporated meat due to my husband being allergic to fish the, only protein I would consume, so I put chicken beef and Lamb back in. After having a child a decade later it all began with fatigue, hormonal swings (Rollercoasters) and deep acne which would come on like clockwork that it pushed my immune system to weaken and I battled with cold sores and psoriasis and fatigue which then lead to inflammation (which you don't notice because it comes on gradually) and stomach pains like clockwork every evening and inability to eat food or digest it. Fasting is the only time I felt better. Always felt like I was coming down with something but eventually it was the migraines that pushed me over the edge because I've never been prone to them unless something serious was going on. My brain fog and forgetfulness and lack of energy to even go and get food or visit my mom lead me to hit rock bottom. When a friend suggested cutting gluten dairy and sugar I literally just did it immediately and in 2 days I felt better. Now it's been over 2 months and I lost all the inflammation, my skin isn't erupting with hormonal acne and my hormones are more on track. I am making bone broth and I take bile salts and I'm working on healing the gut, liver and gallbladder, kidneys. I used to pee on myself including while asleep, I was sure I was just degrading like a person would at the end of their life. Please please please take care of yourselves, men, women even teens... and take care of your children too so they don't experience this health degradation in their youth! It's serious. Look up Insulin resistance, non alcoholic fatty liver (none of us drink) and yet everyone around me is also sick and fatigued. It's our diets.

YES! Please do a thyroid update video. I myself have hypothyroidism and Hashimoto's Disease (nearly 17 years now). I was listening to your symptoms and I said, "Oh! She has a thyroid issue?!", before you even mentioned your thyroid. Lol! You were basically mentioning all of my symptoms so I just knew. There are SO MANY autoimmune disorders that fall under the umbrella of Hashimoto's and usually go undiagnosed for years. It's not something Western medicine doctor's really treat or even care about. I could go on and on. I'm trying to get my gut health in order so these videos are very much appreciated. Thank you for sharing your journey and I'm looking forward to your follow up videos.

OMG 😥😥 I have almost the same exact story. Yes, when I started experiencing the hair loss, the alarm went off big time. I knew it’s something on the inside. Went to dermatologist, but the solutions only helped with the outside. I have not seen a doctor, like you I’m self diagnosing, researching gut / digestive health and making some changes. I now cook more with bone broth, when making soups, following an anti inflammatory diet, switched to avocado oil, ghee, grass fed butter, meats, switch to maple syrup- and I love it. Eating and incorporating more real ingredients that my body recognizes and can digest. And of course your recipes are delicious!!!PLEASE keep posting these type of videos.

One thing that has helped me is incorporating ACV, Apple Cider Vinegar with the Mother (Braggs), along with other fermented foods like Kimchi, sauerkraut, etc., to improve my gut health. I take 2 Tbls with hot water, add a squirt of natural sweetener and juice of half a lemon. By all means, share your Thyroid Story. I personally take 2-3 drops of liquid desiccant iodine, but for some reason have been so concentrated on cooking Keto bc everything takes so darn long that I had forgotten to take mine &, listen to this, I've noticed lots of hair loss, so thanks for the reminder, I'm getting right back to it. Just a note, your T3-T4 levels can be low normal (T3 is the actual iodine number with T4 being the precursor), anyway, if you are having symptoms there is still a problem. Taking synthetic is not always the answer, bc most times the Rx is either too much or too little, too much it's Tachycardia & panic attack time, too little & you're too sleepy, cold, & depressed to care. So if you go the desiccant route start with one drop & increase up to 3 drops as long as your heart rate stay normal, but more than that should warrant a trip to you physician, bc it is nothing to fool around with if it causes your heart ❤️ to beat really fast at rest & could be dangerous....be careful...

See a functional medicine / holistic doc for your thyroid. I was recently diagnosed with hypothyroidism (slightly over the high end of the normal range) and right away my gynecologist wanted to me to get a script for a synthetic to correct it. I said no thanks and started taking Actalin. There are other natural supplements out there to support the thyroid. I chose Actalin since it was formulated by Dr. David Brownstein MD as he's a specialist on the thyroid and immune system. Hypothyroidism is just a deficiency of iodine and other minerals needed to convert T4 to T3. I'm on my 5th bottle and feel great. It has a high dose of Vitamin A in it so if you're taking Retin-A (aka Tretinoin), you'll need to find another thyroid supplement without Vitamin A.

I went to my doctor with those symptoms back in 1998 and he did a thyroid test on me and said I just needed to back away from the table. 😱 I told him that if he saw me eat, he'd know that wasn't the problem. Fast forward to 2013, my chiropractor put me on a cleanse, but was gaining weight from the shake. Turns out I was gluten intolerant... then later found out I was lactose intolerant. He thought I might have Hashimoto's as those 2 things were part of the disease. He was right!! I still can't lose weight, despite eating healthy. I'd love to hear your story!!

I never really comment on videos like literally ever but I felt inspired from watching this to share a lil of my story just in case someone out there needed to hear it. I know this is a controversial topic but KETO is not for everyone. I started keto in 2015 to loose the baby weight after having my son and within 6 months my body changed. Much like the things she talked about I got cold, tired, hair loss, depressed and anxiety. I went to doctors appointment twice a week, went to see a homeopathic doctor and even got diagnosed with hyperthyroidism. I couldn’t figure out what was wrong until I stopped Keto. Keto is so trendy right now and so many people are having the same issues. I personally don’t think these diets are a healthy life style. That is my personal opinion. Can you loose weight on them yes but long term it will start to effect you and it won’t be until your in the bathroom at 2am cutting your hair above your ear line, praying to god for it to grow back that you’ll realize this diet is not meant for you long term. I know I sound dramatic but for someone like me that would experience all of these symptoms and felt like no doctor was listening, I had to listen to my body. Don’t follow a fad diet do what your body feels most healthiest at. god bless you and your journey. 😊 p.s I was able to grow my hair back by taking HairAnew growth vitamins (pink and green bottle from Amazon) and prenatal vitamins .

@@patriciaurrutia4846 hi, I’m currently intermediate fasting and watching my calorie intake. I eat everything in moderation.I live by the Hara hachi bu Rule … it is a Japanese term meaning “Eat until you're 80% full. I notice when I do this I feel less bloated and fulfilled. The vitamins worked wonders for me but being consistent for 3 months is really when you notice a difference. -Gia

@@4evergiovanna I love that you said this!! In Japan, I don't know any Japanese who are vegetarian, vegan, keto, non dairy, gluten free, take vitamins, supplements or any of them. And, most maintain a healthy weight and have dessert! (the high incidence of stomach cancer is related more to high salt intake). Food is meant to be enjoyed not restricted. By doing extreme things you are actually making your body sick. By eating slowly and not eating until you are full, you allow your stomach to digest and use the nutrients you put in it. Hara Hachi bu is a great way to live. I do that and IF (14:10). I eat everything and have a drink once or twice a week. My body is in good shape even though I am coping with perimenopause.

I fast 20h daily. Hit cardio @ 300 or more cal before the end of my fast then I eat . I have a cup of black coffee in the morning then sip water all day till 5 pm. Eat between 5pm -10pm. Sleep 7hrs and keep the pattern religiously. Rinse and repeat. Eat protein (lots of vegetables) carbs/sugars in moderation. I feel great compared to when I wasn't doing any of it.
