@@donpegar2645 I wondered about that, I’m going to Harbor Freight this weekend, if they have some I might stock up on a couple of each, it’s a two hour round trip from our shop to the closest store so I always try to keep consumable items on hand
just sanded and painted an old trailer...sanded that damn thing with angle grinder and a palm sander...almost went and got one of these and wish i had...got an old 9n tractor that i;m gonna pretty up so i'm gonna bite the bullet and get one...thanks for vid, liked and subbed.
You won’t regret it, I have prepped lots of parts the same way as you, and while both the grinder and sander have their place this tool makes it so much easier. I’m looking forward to trying it out on some cast pieces on the Cub LoBoy I’m redoing
Going tomorrow so I can get holiday discount...hope you're having a great weekend, got a nice rain and cold front here in Eastern Oklahoma, thanks again.
I've done 2 TO 35 Ferguson tractors since I got mine , stripped down to bear metal and repainted , did all tons and wheels in a few hours , would have taken days with a sander.
Yes this would work great to strip rust and scale off of vehicle frames, the stripping drum would work great on the long flat sections, and this tool paired with the scale stripping drum from Eastwood that I mentioned would work great for getting into all the hard to reach places. Hope this helps and thanks for watching
as an urban carpenter, the noise level would detract me from using this on the job but if your closest neighbor is a mile away, I imagine that wouldn't be a problem
Yes it is noisy, might make the neighbors upset if they had to listen to it for very long, luckily our closest neighbor out here at the farm is 3 miles away LOL Thanks for watching and commenting
Ive had one for over a year , love this tool , my only complaint is Harbor Freight i my area doesn't always have the drums when i need them .

If I’m not mistaken this tool is marked down considerably if you’re an ITC member right now

I was working in a dentist office the other day, I wonder what would have happened if they heard that tool in the waiting room
