- In this unusual episode instead of buying a cheap old car I buy a derelict 1970's mobile home for some reason and bring it back to a livable state, why did I do this? Not really sure but here we go

I never lived in a trailer and I was born in the 00’s but places like this give me nostalgia. A lot of my friends grew up in places like this
Congratulations on the new property!
Quirky, cute Jimmy is the cutest lol huge crush! congrats on the new place!
Got some childhood flashbacks there, also love the mushroom lamp
Congratulations Jimmy, the property has a lot of potential 👍
Congrats on the property! Really excited to see what you do next with it. There’s so many things I can think of. You can make that place shine lol.
This is a nice change of pace and with your commentary I watched through the entire video without realizing it! Exited to see what's coming next!
Home repairs and cars?? Waddyuh aiming for next jimmy rocket scientist???? Joking but can’t wait to see everything
Funny enough when I applied for the USAF and took their test my department was chosen as fission so I almost was a rocket scientist lol
@@jimmyjimjims7483 that’s hilarious and cool as hell lol don’t think we would all see the jimmyjimjims we know and love today if you went for that
Bro we waiting on part 2 with baited breath
Put a Toyota logo on your front door
Smoke alarms are supposed to be replaced every 10 years, and people don't do that.
I changed it with a carbon monoxide/smoke alarm combo because that thing was absolutely ancient
Congrats on the new place! Gonna leave El Paso and live in White Sands permanently now?
Nah I still work in El Paso so I'll just make the commute for now until I figure out what exactly my plan was buying this thing lol
Excited to see the progression of the home Jimmy, awesome vid
How much did that run you if you don't mind me asking? Never considered mobile homes but my girlfriend lives in one which isn't too bad and the community it's in is pretty nice/friendly. The one you got isn't too shabby and looks pretty comfy :p
This one is a 2 bed 2 bath and it cost me $19000 cash, I'm about $3500 into renovation thus far and it looks 100x better than it did when I shot this first vid in April, but there will be more vids over the next few months (at least 5 that I've already filmed). Never even considered living in a trailer but the housing market is astronomical so I'm doing this for now basically until the market crashes or lowers lol
@@jimmyjimjims748319000? Yikes guess trailers are going for a mint
@@robertsmith987 $19000 includes the shed which I sold for $4000 so it brought the total down to $15k but yeah any kind of property is ridiculously high right now because of people flooding into this area from California and other failing states/cities. It doubled the housing prices here in just over a year
Is it on leased land?
I love trailers and trailer parks. I just don't like the types that end up there.
And boy are there some "characters" that live in said trailer park. Luckily this is a mostly elderly community so my neighbors are little ol blue hairs that are pretty friendly
How far a drive is new pad from work?
@@jimmyjimjims7483 those shower heads are the bomb bro good high pressure and reliable easy to unscrew and clean. People put those big ones in mobile homes and they have no pressure.
