Eddie's the only guy that's competitive during a medical test.
They should test him and Brian Shaw at the same time
@@BroomeBlocker4 Dont think the internet will be able to handle it.
imagine if they did that with big z in hes prime they would think he had legs like a frog and shoulders like an ox 🤣🤣🤣i swear when i see big Z squat videos where he has those tight pants on he's legs look like Frickin frog legs....
r
wat? very few men would not be competitve in this? any real men that is
For a quick second i thought the thumbnail was a pregnant woman getting a ultrasound.
nah is just an intresting video on how a steroid mass user strong man compares with mother tendinoids
🤣🤣🤣
some huge woman right there
Even pregnant women are not that fat.
hahaha
When you're so damn strong that scientists want to study you. 😆
saitama moment
he literally said they tested everyone people that dont train or in between that and eddie
They should test Thor, he's stronger, but probably too big for the machine.
You really believe they approached him and not his team approaching them for fs
If he was stronger he wouldn't have lost WSM to Eddie
seeing his leg bone in the middle of all that muscle was crazy, feels like the only limiting factor for how strong he can get!
his organs too
ligamnets, tendons, joints
Im really curious, what the tensile strength of his tendons is. Doing some simple math, the main tendon in the knee was pulling over 1 ton in the last test (assuming a 1:10ish ratio between where the tendon is pulling the lower leg and where the sensor was attached to)
And I think one of the biggest factors of how strong someone can get is the intake of energy to supply all those muscles and keep em trained. Everybody knows that, laying in the bed for a week or more and you loose a sh**load of muscle-mass. And we also know, Eddi is already eating 20 megacalories a day! He spends hours on end every days just to get all those calories in a constant rate in so that his bowel can digest it.
The guy who set the equipped bench record said he could feel his bones bending when he did it. So bones are definitely the limiting factor once you get to these strength levels.
Yeah people think weightlifting does bone changes, doesn't. Scan a pacific islander that's never worked out and they have bigger bones than eddie hall.
I got the results right here, Eddie is f'ing bigger and stronger than everyone else they tested.
This vid is outdated, Brain did the same/similar tests and did better
@@TheLegMan1 right, so apart from the lovecraftian 10 foot giant that wields 200lb dumbbells as weapons
Yeah but Eddie's heading to jail soon for his failed Knife attack on kirkcaldy high street, Fife, Scotland
He was recruited by paedophile police officer Sam Brown.
To cover up scottish police connections with Epstein island.
Eddie the clown got KO with one punch while swinging his blade in public
Captured by CCTV and is awaiting trial.
Please stop simping over him
He is just a Jester protecting uncle festers
@@TheLegMan1 ofc... Brian is a different kind of beast, even among strongmen xD
@@TheLegMan1 who the F is brain ?
13:50 when he looks up and says "Bro science" was hilarious to me. Every scientist's heart in the room skipped a beat haha!
pro science
Dawg wtf💀💀💀
15:08 The Third Hand really helps him here
Bruh 💀
That's what helped him go over 500kg
BRO 😂
All the guys in the team are so excited and passionate
what I feel is even cooler is that they clearly enjoy all of that, but when I came down to business everyone seemed very professional, focused and knowleged. Party hard and work hard
@@RubensOteroNeto Yup, feel real and authentic.
Pulling a force of 750kg vs lifting and holding a 750kg bar are absolutely two different things. Still that is craziness how hard he pulls.
Right it’s like a rack pull
So you agree i lifted 750kg basically, just making thinks complicated.
they were measuring the force he puts into the floor, so basically it adds his body weight to the lift force he applies in that raw measurement. So 500kg + his weight puts it in that ball park.
@@zyeborm If you look at the spreadsheet you'll see it says "above body mass". i.e. his body weight has been corrected for in the measurements.
Eddie pulled more than Brian did at the UFC Center
watch?v=cs4PjD6mBpY
"Be great. Be awesome." Did he just channel Brian Shaw?
1000000%
They are best buds after all. lol
Shaw was 700 kilo eddie 750
e
Would be interesting to see the tendons on an elite level armwrestler, where the strenght is highly specialized. They generate very high stress and load in a very unnatural direction, many whom condition cartilage/bone and tendons to the point where they lose the natural mobility of joints, especially around the elbow. Anyway good stuff, nice video.
Denis cyplenkov forgot how to spell his second name lmao but hun in his prime would be monstrous
they should try to get Devon Larret on there, he is a fucking monster, ould be a super good test for him and insane info for them
that sound so lame... compared to the strongest man on earth doing 750 kg of force
Like the Dr. said in the video, the tendon size is not proportional to muscle size; that's why I wrote my comment. It would be interesting to see if the tendon size is much bigger for an athlete like an arm wrestler because of long-term accumulated tendon damage. In such a case, muscle strength would not be the main focus. But hey, you don't have to watch such a video if they would make one, my internet friend. Watch what is fun for you .
@@ilumistratewfb237 but both would be amazing
this isnt recent right? Eddie looks straight out of WSM
Quite a few years ago, 5 or 4 years ago?
2018 I think
yeah, tattoos are different/less, and he looks more ' fatty'
I think this ia a year or a few months back. Its in eddies channel
it says 2018 on all the images
Eddie fucken FILLED that MRI what an absolute specimen.
with mostly muscle and even his bloody bones are thicker than a normal man haha.
Great to see this kind of dedication to scientific work!
for a second i was confused, i was like eddie isnt wearing his own merch, must be old haha
This was super interesting man, I love it when sports meets science!
Also, Eddie has gotten so strong he has officially reached scientific study subject level XD Talk about strength goals.
whahaha yes he's a different breed of human specimen.
It's so funny to see how much joy the scientists were being able to research him
This was one of the coolest videos i've seen in a minute. hope for more like it.
also, updates, please.
He looks like he's down 100 pounds from a year ago. You can tell in his chest and armpit area. I'm sure he's feeling healthier and he can move much better. I was scared for him when he broke the world record. He was far too big, and that was terrible on his heart. I hope he lives to 100. He seems like such a great person. Watching Eddie and Brian Shaw together is always a good time. Those two become teenagers every time they're together. I loved the show they were doing, going around the world and attempting different feats of strength. They should've called it the four horsemen! 🎉🎉🎉🎉
Love the fact that the world's strongest man* is putting his body towards science. Absolute legend!
Loved this content
Heh, taken out of context the "hook me up to some devices" almost sounded like you volunteered to be abducted by aliens.
BE GREAT. AWESOME!
the scientist really likes his work. its great hearing him speak.
Think Eddie might’ve wanted to cut out that one joke in the corridor but good video😂
11:59
I replayed it 5 times, I thought I was hearing it wrong
He jokes about it loads of times in his vids
@@danstanford89 I haven’t seen him say that in ages idk about years ago tho
I gasped hahaha
"Congratulation, the results say that you're a beast"
I think they should have that machine to test dead lift at a competition, it would be so interesting to see the results.
You can do something similar with a short lift from a safety rack. I did 500 kg at the top, while doing full deadlift at 285kg. But reverse grip it was, less pressure on trapezius area I guess.
At least they didn't test his boxing abilities.
Eddie loves it when he is getting his leg shaved
Great Stremf!💪
17:43 should of added the audio from animal planet "as you can see the animal in its natural habitat...etc" LOL
id like to see how Brian Shaw looks compared to eddies test results. The Beast is strong but even he knows Brian is a whole other level of monster.
Eddie beat him in WSM the year before this was filmed.
Lookup the video of Brian at the UFC center he does some similar type stuff
@@JohnSmith-wo2fzyeh and that def wasnt a bookies fix up at all haha nobody got rich from that.. honest officer
nah at their peaks they were just better at different stuff. Brian is better at dynamic and Eddie is better at static. It bears mentioning that most Eddie and Brian interactions you'll see is long after Eddie retired from strongest man, he basically won it then immediately retired. He also holds world records that cant be beat even with Brian having won it 4 times to Eddies 1.
Actually for pure strength Eddie was stronger, the deadlift showed this.
Very interesting! 👍🔥
The door's sound at 8:40...i thought that it was your fart 😂😂😂
That's the most ancient looking ultrasound machine I have ever seen at 2:58. Even a small hospital usually has a modern one,. lmao
Did anyone measure how much the earth moved when he tested. Felt like the sun came closer.
I was ready to start making tren jokes until I realized this was old. Ed looks so much better now.
15:28 the dude just got a "error 404"😂😂
Did eddie say be great ? Love it
That Lab machine looks like something you can build in the shed.. no handle on leg extension machine was funny 🤣
Love the pumping up at 16:53
I thought the guy in thumbnail was Tom Hanks 😂😂😂
Eddie Hall, Reginald Mitchell, and Oatcakes are why I am proud to be a Stokie.
Eddie's stretch marks are just as motivational as whatever he happens to be saying or doing
this is a fascinating video.
Just shows how much balance takes off a huge amount of how much you can actually lift!
8:15 - 8:25 EDDIE'S NEW SLOGAN 🗿👍🏻
24:39 "Be great"
Fair play for putting yourself through that.
We want Anatoly and magnus too in this video
Am I the only one holding his breath with Eddy 🤦♂️😂😂😂😂😂
Can’t believe you’ve got in that machine in Knox years of your life
Eddie is clearly dehydrated 😂❤
I love the fact they shaved his legs after the had put the tape on 🤣🤣
lol, rockin the bro
Seeing Eddie Smile with teeth from a diagonal angle makes him look like Chucky
They should make season 3 of Norsemen, and have Eddy as the ultimate viking.
Eddie will be in some kind of medical book in the future xD
when i saw the thumbnail i was like, I've had her.
the image of him eating alone in a glass box is so fucking funny
16:25 lmfao he was about to drink that shit 😂😂😂
Love you Eddie keep it up i hope your neck is ok stressed me out when you said it hurt !! The beast!!!!!! Ripped still
when with scientists you realise what kind of beast eddie really is. they all looked SMAAAALL
You should do a test between two different types of atheltes in the same sport such in cycling a sprinter and a climber!
Wow, this guy should be in those world's strongest man competitions
😆
He is
@@pitshy2486 Nah he's retired
Me holding my breath when he "lifts" 😂
MRI machines are a nightmare. I’ve been in one for around 4 hours. You also have to stay completely still. It’s awful.
4 hours us extremely long
damn 4 hours in that loud-ass thing sounds like a claustrophobic nightmare.. not sure if i'd be able to do it
How do you manage lighting for both indoor and outdoor shots in a video?
It’s impressive how little intramuscular fat eddy has.
They need to get Kyriakos Grizzly in there next
"Yeah I can pull 750..."
"750 pounds?? god damn!"
"Kilos..."
"-_-"
"..."
Brian Shaw need to do this aswell:D
So heartwarming to read all these positive messages. God bless you all.
God bless you too! :)
The scan looks like a leg of beef lol
I’ve been so curious about this
11:59 Wait...What?! 😂
I had the same reaction 😂
That shit caught me so off gaurd 🤣
Had to rewind that and put captions on, I thought nahhh I definitely misheard that!
that was wild
Did they remove what he said because I can't hear anything at this time stamp. He's just pulling the machine.
Wish effort like this was put on to people like me. My protein gene is broken and causing severe muscular pain and wasting. Single alone and can’t get anyone to help.
All the tests would show is confirming your muscles are weak - you’d need a different kind of study
@@brandonsargent7105no need to be so rude and direct
and yet here you are, crying on youtube, rather than fixing your situation.
I want to see a study like this on Kyriakos grizzly
In Germany we say Stabil!
Eddie "Baby scan" Hall
I would love to try the force plate floor test. I want to see my numbers.
750kg is crazy
I’d like to see them measure magnus midtbo
750kg is crazy!!!
12:00. Your favourite exercise is what now eddy 😳😹
Wait... Did he just say "I'm like Shaw" on the exhale around 20:50? 😂
The fact that he is so big yet has so little fat really tells you how much of that is muscle. Damn near all of it. Insane. What a beast.
The thumnail 💀💀💀
that computer looks like it's runnin on Windows 95
9:52 nah Eddie hit the gawk gawk 3000 move
so when will we have the happy delivery then?? 😂😂😂😂
Looking at those MRI images makes me hungry for a good steak.
they should do active duty marine or seal
The chair one is me in the bathroom.
3:17 got that chin ready for action
17:46 Best moment of the whole video 🤣
The reason an MRI room is basically always cold is because lower temps help to keep the magnets inside MRI machines cool and functioning. Actually the room itself isnt getting AC 24/7 or anything, its the cold radiating off of the machines/magnets inside that are keeping the room cool.
as a veteran medical sonographer... i just have to say holy shit that ultrasound machine is ancient
WTF are these numbers? He lifts 750 KG? Pretty sure my building's elevator doesn't even do that much.
I think its good to get these results from a medical perspective because those that continuously work out this data is crucial and can determine if maybe his body is slightly bigger than normal or what his diet/training does compared to others.. seeing how they had a slightly fatter previous subject it was interesting to see the difference between eddies lean body compared to their previous result. Also its astonishing to see that his body is fairly lean for a strongman and he can lift / carry so much force through the human body. Its amazing data and eddie is a perfect specimen for science lol
