The image of the rainbow-streaked oil was arresting. Where other reviewers resort to protracted tales to set the scene, you produce images that more successfully bypass the intellect, making us feel a little closer to the actual experience. Very painterly and just a joy to listen to. Thanks, as always.
Love the choice of all thee fragrances you covered in this episode. I was very interested in all three, so I was very happy to see you covering all of them!
When it was available I was about to buy it but I decided to wait, I'm definitely interested, but I'll wait until I get it for a more reasonable price. By the way, I adore Adorem, will buy another 15 ml, thanks for that! A little disappointed on Sadonaso, I'll get a sample anyway. As always a pleasure, thanks for the reviews Dariush!!!
I love Greek mythology! I haven't smelled the extrait version of Ganymede yet. I was impressed by your pronunciation while reading the few lines of the press release in French!
Somehow I had never even heard of this brand before. Sounds interesting. Probably not my cup of tea but absolutely intrigued by your colourful description. :)
Thank you Persolaise, for this interesting review. I am IN LOVE with Encelade and like the B863 Extrait very much. With Ganymede I wasn't a fan, but I'd be curious to smell the extrait. Do you think they'll come up with an extrait for Encelade? I'd actually love it if they'd turn that one into an Eau Fraîche/Cologne......something light but lingering..... I do think Encelade references big 80's classics. Like Kouros or Joop! or Fahrenheit. Thank you, again!
That's a superb thought about Encelade -- I agree, it would be intriguing. But I'd imagine they'd want to target a clientele seeking something 'bigger'.
I know, but Encelade is huge already.....I mean......it's nuclear!! Unless they make the extrait more rounded and more sophisticated like they did with B836 and Ganymede, I'd love the Encelade cologne. For a change.... Bigger Encelade would become........well........... toilet freshener territory..... 😱 Thank you!
Hey Persolaise, sorry to pester you again!! But I went Les Senteurs in London at the weekend first time in years tbh , love that shop. Anyway I tried B683 extrait and wow was blown away , loved it and could easily smell it my skin literally after 24 hours a gym workout and 2 showers later , mad!! However, it is bloody expensive, do you think it’s worth the money ?? Also my girlfriend wants a fragrance from Xerjoff, how come you never review Xerjof’s range ? Just curious , as I smelt Naxos by Xerjoff and was intrigued! 😊
I can't help with Xerjoff, I'm afraid. And the decision about whether a perfume is worth its price has got to be personal. Thanks very much for watching.
Funny that you find Ganymede harder! I've always found it alluring in a weird way whereas Encelade I find sometimes okay at first but then I just need to run away from it (and of course, it lingers!). I do find fruity notes often difficult, but there was something about that rhubarb note, maybe in particular combined with everything else, that made me feel like ill in the way you do when you've had too many sweets. That said, despite my love of Ganymede, I have no interest in trying an extrait version! I'd be more interested in an airier EDT tbh. I don't like the idea of any more sweetness in something like that I guess.
I haven't heard anyone recently ever mention ELDO 's Une Amourette in years and when it first came out, it wasn't much liked by most fragrance lovers. However, I liked it and still own a bottle of it. I do have a sample of Ganymede but do not own a bottle.
I actually like the original, only recently smelt may I add, but unfortunately with the extrait version I can’t help but smell curry which I love eating but don’t wish to wear :) Thanks Mr. P

Thank you so much, John. My job is made easier when the perfumes are evocative.

I’m so glad Adorem is going down well with you all.
The quality of Marc-Antoine Barrois and BDK's offerings are astounding. The scents, the bottles, the packaging are incredible.
I’m glad you like them. Thanks for watching.

Oh dear - thank you 😬

Their work is very striking, and not to all tastes.

I know what you mean: I think an edt would have been fascinating.

I was very taken with Amourette. I enjoy wearing it sometimes.
I actually like the original, only recently smelt may I add, but unfortunately with the extrait version I can’t help but smell curry which I love eating but don’t wish to wear :)
Thanks Mr. P
Ah, must be the immortelle.
Thanks for watching, Dave.
@@Persolaise Thanks Mr. P
I don't know if anyone mentioned this in the chat, but Givaudan lists Akigalawood as a captive molecule.
I believe it is a captive.
Thanks for watching.
I can only smell curry on this one. I know it’s a personal taste but I can’t deal with this scent profile. Loved Ganymede, hated the extrait.
Well, at least you’ve tried it.
Love the original Ganymede but find the Extrait version to be a complete misfire and almost unwearable
Interesting. I wonder if fans of the edp won't like the extrait, and vice versa.
@@Persolaise from the reviews and reactions to it I’ve seen/read so far, I’ve barely seen anyone say they prefer it over the original Ganymede edp
