I recently tried this at a store, liked the scent but loved the stacks for handmade papers on which the bottles were displayed. Such a cool touch. About the fragrance I feel it is a handmade but very sophisticated paper dusted with French powder. 😊

I have this scent. And it kinda reminds me of those powdery scented papers i used to write in as a teen. The scent is very quiet and subtle but I hugged a friend one instance and she started crying out of nostalgia and told me she loved the scent very much and she also bought one herself - she said it reminded her of her late parents who used to send her letters in those powdery scented papers. I'll never get tired of this scent - reminds me of a trip to the library or that freshly printed newspaper on a quiet morning.

A couple of weeks ago I was in the office, waiting for my copies to finish printing. I turned to my coworker and said “I love the smell of freshly printed ink from the copier, I wish this was a perfume”. The other day while in the store, I was checking out the dyptique boutique and sprayed this on paper. I definitely found the steamed rice there, but it was gorgeous to me and so I sprayed it on my skin. Without knowing what this scent is supposed to embody, I smelled my wrist and turned to my partner and said “this is it!! This is fresh hot printed ink on paper right off the printer!” I had to buy it! I love it so much, I think it’s so unique. I’m extremely happy with my decision to purchase this bottle. Dyptique is one of my favorites ❤

Bought it last days and I instantly loved it, it' s very well done and even pretty unique inmy opinion. I loved the concept, but I wasn't really that sure, if I'll like the smell, but I absolutely did and do and I had to order a full bottle. And I' ve wearing it everyday for daytime since it has arrived on Monday. 😅😍

I’m asian so the middle part really reminds me of a sticky rice with coconut dessert and pandan leaves. It is a very comforting scent to me. I just bought it so it seems like a skin scent but i hope it does project a bit as i use it.

@@mayaraschade3371It’s the first thing I have identified only because pandan leaves would be used in cooking rice and sometimes infused in desserts. Unfortunately, this is only prominent in the opening but once it settles down, it smells like a strong ambroxan scent like that of Juliette has a Gun or Another 13 which to me smells screechy at times.

I received a preview sample with my last order. It reminds me in part of the limited edition Paris candle from last year (green glass with wooden lid) that was described as old books and paving stones. I'm finding it strangely compelling and am very tempted to add to my diptyque library!

I have loved this review, especially since I've been visiting family in Bristol and at a funeral in Tunbridge Wells. Apres mon voyage...malade. Yikes. Whenever possible I've looked at your TH-cam posts. A home away from home for me.☺️
I've only watched this now, a month later.
Whilst you talked about this fragrance and Fabrice Pellegrin's open comments on his process; I kept thinking of the Cuban cigar factory "Reader" perfume which sounded lovely.

It quickly turned sharp and nostril numbing in its cloak of gentleness, and though I could pick up steamed rice in the opening, I failed to comprehend why I would need that on my skin, clothes, or anywhere but in my sushi bowl.
