I think ive finally grown up. I dont give a shit how fast i get through this content anymore. Thats the single biggest sign of maturity for a gamer. No, there arent exceptions.
We old folk now go for leisurely walks in the overworld, reflecting on all the mistakes we made in our builds and the NPCs we hurt along the way. We look back and ask ourselves if we had joined the right factions and invested in the best skills for a good life. It's too late for us to change classes because it's so expensive, so we need to make the best of it. There are bittersweet moments, like when we reflect on that old companion we had, but they are gone, lost in some other realm. So go easy on us, young gamers. We understand what it's like to rush through life's main quest. So, stop every so often and help others, enjoy talking with people and don't skip their words. And be nice to your clan, as family is everything. Oh and like he said, don't hoard your materials. Material things at the end of the day doesn't make one happy.
The story is awesome. I'm taking my time through the whole thing. Yes, the mount is great, but let's be honest. You're only gonna do the story once, so enjoy it.

Yep good advice, I watched 9 outa 10 content creators preach not upgrading too much along the way. Then I did my own playthrough and saw a huge disconnect. Unless there is some unknown mechanic at lvl 100 that is an utter material sink. Upgrading absolutely helped my progress and made the game more enjoyable than just sitting there being afraid to do anything cos some TH-camr said not to.
Agree, you should at minimum triple tap upgrade every single item you ever wear. Keep in mind that you may have found an upgrade even if the new un-upgraded item’s stats are slightly lower, since you have to upgrade it for true comparison.
Don’t forget about the gear break points! 150+, 340+, 460+, 625+, and 750+. Upgrading your gear when you will exceed these certain points, massively increases your gains. E.G, 338 upgrade would put you at 343, big boosts.
@@cvalenzuela828 the last breakpoint is 725 I believe, or maybe there's 1 more at 750. Definitely is one at 725 tho. But yea im kinda liking this breakpoint system and how you can preview that key breakpoint upgrade before actually committing to it.
First recommendation to blast through the campaign...meanwhile level 47 here without having completed the first ACT, getting lost in side quests and exploration...
Hey! just a heads up if you didn't notice, every 20 levels you can upgrade your gems, and you are still using your lvl 60 gems, you can upgrade them again since you are above 80
The gems are level 50 for flawless I’m pretty sure. I’m level 63 and thought it was level 60 but I saw it was level 50 yesterday if not mistaken right? I’m guessing perfect is at level 70?
Unless you're a streamer or an elitist. Just enjoy the game story and do the sidequest people, you have plenty of time to do get stronk and do endgame later.

I wish PvP zone had a good reason to go in like the helltide zone. Would love some special raw materials or the red currency be used to purchase like a cache of materials, otherwise it’s not a big reason to hit it up in that area

I dont like the idea of elixirs. By sole fact that they exist blizzard HAS to take them into account when they balance things around and that means they will eventually get necessery and another stupid thing to farm ingredients for like they are in WoW. I would very much like them not to be craftable, so its just an additional bonus when they drop, or better yet not existing at all.
I agree, I really don't like the idea of having temporary buffs that are craftable, it doesn't feel fun to use, it's another way to make you lose some time on just farming random plants etc..., That's not what diablo is about imo, sounds like your typical MMO chore

I found the story to be lackluster tbh didn’t feel like any character development at all, at the end of the game my necromancer seemed distraught at the thought of losing that young girl but there was no relationship there that I was ever aware of. Just saying the cutscenes were great and the story details that I knew from knowing the Diablo story were very cool extensions of the story but the actual new story if you could call it that was devoid of any real engaging content imo.
That’s how some people like to play it. You like slow and steady and I like fast and grinding to become powerful quickly, there’s no wrong way to play the game.

We have finaly fantasy, god of war, the last of us etc. for story and lore. An ARPG like diablo has it's main focus on killing bazillions of demons to min max your meta build. Therefore, speedrunning things is the main appeal to progress to your desired goal.

Which level should my gear be, in average, to consider it for upgrades? (basically, idk if I should farm tier 3, then upgrade, or upgrade my tier 2 gear, then farm world tier 3)
It's less about level and more about stats. Gear will always be dropping at your level unless you're killing enemies that are below or above your level by a lot
How you liking the trap buld just got in to world tier 4 level 57 on twisting blades poison, by throwing myself at the boss and spending 600k in repair costs from dieing lol. It looks fun was thinking of swapping for endgame
I finished my renowngrind like 30minutes ago. I made a point of getting all maxed before the official release of the game 😂 But I was disappionted there was no titles or achievement for doing all that. We get achievements and titles for the smallest things, but nothing for actually grinding it all out. Odd. Anyways all my alts from now on will have 20 paragonpoints at 50 and thats nice! 🤗
Do you know if renown status will be kept through the seasons? I'm hearing rumors that it won't be but the permanent stat buffs from the statues will be
One thing ive learn being a new player to these types of games and diablo. Its all ego based it seems becasue i really fill im playing for nothing if there no story to follow. Correct me if im wrong but after finishing the story who are leveling for and if you trying to max your charater for dlc story content why if your just going to rush through it so you can go level for the next storyline you will ignore.
Thank Goodness I had a cometely free Weekend of responsibilities, so I could play this game. I play WT2, Im level 50, and have not left Fractured Peaks yet. I have beat Act 1 though. I aint in no hurry. Im attemlting to max out Fractured Peaks but, Im stuck. I have 1 Side Quest and 1 Dungeon that, I CAN NOT find; they are not located anywhere on the map. And I have fully explored all of Fractured Peaks
At the end he said something about the weapons stats in your secondary weapon slot effect your character? You That's only when you have it equipped right?
Just a heads up on fiend roses and forgotten souls, if you run around the hellfire in wt4 looking only for the specials rocks and flowers you’ll end up with plenty in one hell tide. Kill the commanders too
Yeah I like the way game is setup. Give you a reason to hit up helltide every so often to get materials you need. The area looks beautiful also I love it. I did PvP zone for awhile and got 100/100 and was marked. But honestly I don’t know what value to do at PvP zone I wish the currency you clense could be used to get some raw material or something to make it worth doing and more riskier it’s a waste land in PvP zone
Just out of interest, do aspects improve in the later game? Say a world tier 1 legendary has a percent increase between 5%-10%, will a later one, with the same aspect be 20%-30% potential increase?
I'm almost level 50 but I'm struggling with getting new gear of a higher power. Most of the drops and legendaries are lower power them I have now and I'm noticing a bit of a damage wall now with how hard I hit. My armour stat is high and my health is ok but my attack is now cutting it.
The biggest upgrade you can get in wt3 is your weapon. Wait for a (sacred) rare weapon to drop with high raw damage and then imprint a good aspect for your class. That should boost your damage to clear dungeons fast. Then from there just boost your gear with sacred rare gear with imprinted legendary abilities you want

Wait i dont understand in 2:00 - If you do dungeons WITHOUT side quests, you wont get renown points and you wont be able to start those side missions again? Can you actually conpensate now for renown points with another activities or youust only start new game with a new character and make it finnish?
What he is trying to say is, that it is better to grab the sidequest for a dungeon before you do it for the renown you get from completing the dungeon. So you get renown for both objectives (side quest and dungeon completion) at the same time and dont need to run it again (unless you have a sigil you will run anyway)
All he means is it would have been more efficient to only do the dungeon once completing the dungeon and the side quests at the same time but if you miss the side quest he has to go back and redo the dungeon.
I have a few max or near max legendary gear in the stash and after spending so much time on side quests I just collect them now and will do them after I hit WC3.
We did it at levels 59-62, 3 man group. Boss fight was hard, and wt4 feels really slow for me at my curr gear level. So I've just snagged good 2h weapon there, and back to wt3 to grind there until level 70.
I’m still struggling on understanding the difference between a elite and a champion I would love it if you can make a video braking that down along with the more endgame gear system!!!
I think an Elite is a very strong enemy with smaller enemys called minions around while champions are strong enemys that usually come in packs of 3 or 4
If you played Diablo 2 (as you should) you’d know. D2R is arguably just as good if not slightly better of a game for being a 20 year old game that stood the test of time and is still massively popular today.

What I don't like about the current state of gaming is exactly what's being portrayed in this video. "Efficiently doing sidequests" man, why are people so obsessed with "efficiency" in a game that's arguably single player, works in seasons, and even if you play in a party with people who are higher level than you the mobs are adjusted to your level. Just play the game the way you enjoy playing it. If you enjoy doing sidequests just do sidequests, who cares.
I had a max roll WW crit chance lego, forgot the name of it but it was 40% crit chance now its 20 😢 found it at lvl 13 and immediately put it on my stash
On day 2 I snagged a "basic attack speed increased by 80%" and I stored it in stash. That item is gone and I feel like it was removed. Was the aspect nerfed?
I found something similar as well, it wasn’t as high as 80% but it made fury generation a lot better early game but dropped it once my shouts had lower cool downs and found my bold chieftains. Mine is still in my stash tho
End game replay-ability is abysmal. I'm level 60 and have no incentive to keep playing, I could go to tier 4 but what's the point? Monsters just level with me and the good items I find arent tradable or usable to alts. I used the same level 20 gear until level 50 tier 3 because I didnt want to give up my aspects. The aspect system killed the game before it was born, the focus should have been on uniques. You'll all realize this in a few weeks yourselves.
@@zanido9073 The aspects you imprint are bad versions of aspects. They roll on lowest end. They get the Job done but to push content you will need to extract from found loot with high rolls
I find I'm spending way too much time analyzing items and figuring out what to use. During the last major story campaign I remember teleporting back to town to analyze the items and sell a few times because I collected so much loot before the final fight with Lilith - these were not short breaks, they took a while... it was like "Uh, sorry Lorath, Donan, and Neyrelle, I know we're just about to fight Lilith in the final battle, but can you guys wait here for 30 mins while I go to town and sell? Thanks!"
Same. Also had a good laugh when Lilith said something along the lines of "I could keep you trapped in this forever..." and I was like ..."Ok, but you do realize my town portal still works in here, right?"
THIS GUY IS WRONG. You cannot use aspects from the same item type, sacred aspects for sacred, ancestral for ancestral and normal for normal. DO NOT - save your regular aspects past level 40, use them carelessly DO NOT - save your sacred aspects past level 55, use them only if necessary (the cost is great, and is worth saving) DO - save your sacred aspects forever
Hang on, so in the closed beta last year you couldn't take a regular aspect and put it on a sacred item. You're telling me they changed that?!?! If so that is awesome because that was one thing I complained about and put in the final survey sent to Blizz!
You have to be level 50 to get into Tier 3 mode, so you might as well take on the capstone dungeon 49-50. You need both to unlock the Tier 3 mode. Next is level 70 and another dungeon.

My biggest mistake was accidently salvaging all of my weapons early game and almost had to restart the character. Not enough gold to buy one😂😭. Thank god for the gambling NPC
Don’t fall for the FOMO all these streamers and TH-camrs are promoting. There’s absolutely no reason for it. Take your time. Immerse yourself in the story and the world. You’ll get much more out of the game if you do. Yes, people can play how they want, but “influencers” stirring up nonstop FOMO to race to END GAME (emphasis on THE END) are a true cancer in modern day gaming. You will miss so much and be left with a truly hollow experience if you listen to them. Until you’ve played through and fully immersed yourself in the campaign and world at least once, don’t bother racing to THE END until seasons kick off

I hit 50 last night, finished capstone to unlock world tier 3. Stepped into a helltide and 5 mins later got my first sacred unique. Helltides RULE

Look up diablo 4 item power breakpoints and go read that itll help you answer your question

Yeah I like the way game is setup. Give you a reason to hit up helltide every so often to get materials you need. The area looks beautiful also I love it. I did PvP zone for awhile and got 100/100 and was marked. But honestly I don’t know what value to do at PvP zone I wish the currency you clense could be used to get some raw material or something to make it worth doing and more riskier it’s a waste land in PvP zone
Just out of interest, do aspects improve in the later game? Say a world tier 1 legendary has a percent increase between 5%-10%, will a later one, with the same aspect be 20%-30% potential increase?
yes it does. for example, the shock wave HoTa aspect goes to 100%
I'm almost level 50 but I'm struggling with getting new gear of a higher power. Most of the drops and legendaries are lower power them I have now and I'm noticing a bit of a damage wall now with how hard I hit. My armour stat is high and my health is ok but my attack is now cutting it.
The biggest upgrade you can get in wt3 is your weapon. Wait for a (sacred) rare weapon to drop with high raw damage and then imprint a good aspect for your class. That should boost your damage to clear dungeons fast. Then from there just boost your gear with sacred rare gear with imprinted legendary abilities you want
If the drop rates are good and low (as they should be) I can’t wait for the little newborn baby girls to cry

Side quest are easy. Just que them all up in each new area, smash em out, and then hand em in! It's not that complex

Wait i dont understand in 2:00 - If you do dungeons WITHOUT side quests, you wont get renown points and you wont be able to start those side missions again? Can you actually conpensate now for renown points with another activities or youust only start new game with a new character and make it finnish?
What he is trying to say is, that it is better to grab the sidequest for a dungeon before you do it for the renown you get from completing the dungeon. So you get renown for both objectives (side quest and dungeon completion) at the same time and dont need to run it again (unless you have a sigil you will run anyway)
All he means is it would have been more efficient to only do the dungeon once completing the dungeon and the side quests at the same time but if you miss the side quest he has to go back and redo the dungeon.

suggestion on level to do WT4 dungeon? I'm thinking around 60 if possible... isn't the WT4 gear pretty much all level 60 required?
We did it at levels 59-62, 3 man group. Boss fight was hard, and wt4 feels really slow for me at my curr gear level.
So I've just snagged good 2h weapon there, and back to wt3 to grind there until level 70.
I’m still struggling on understanding the difference between a elite and a champion I would love it if you can make a video braking that down along with the more endgame gear system!!!
I think an Elite is a very strong enemy with smaller enemys called minions around while champions are strong enemys that usually come in packs of 3 or 4
If you played Diablo 2 (as you should) you’d know. D2R is arguably just as good if not slightly better of a game for being a 20 year old game that stood the test of time and is still massively popular today.

What I don't like about the current state of gaming is exactly what's being portrayed in this video. "Efficiently doing sidequests" man, why are people so obsessed with "efficiency" in a game that's arguably single player, works in seasons, and even if you play in a party with people who are higher level than you the mobs are adjusted to your level. Just play the game the way you enjoy playing it. If you enjoy doing sidequests just do sidequests, who cares.
If you upgrade a gear with +2 skill to level five it give you +3 instead.
How to show the rolls on the gears ?

On day 2 I snagged a "basic attack speed increased by 80%" and I stored it in stash. That item is gone and I feel like it was removed. Was the aspect nerfed?
On 2hand weapon aspect gets 100% bonus mb you had 2h weapon?
I found something similar as well, it wasn’t as high as 80% but it made fury generation a lot better early game but dropped it once my shouts had lower cool downs and found my bold chieftains. Mine is still in my stash tho
Never had anything disappear, and nerfs would adjust the value not vanish the item.

I had no idea that Jon Snow plays Diablo 4
End game replay-ability is abysmal. I'm level 60 and have no incentive to keep playing, I could go to tier 4 but what's the point? Monsters just level with me and the good items I find arent tradable or usable to alts. I used the same level 20 gear until level 50 tier 3 because I didnt want to give up my aspects. The aspect system killed the game before it was born, the focus should have been on uniques. You'll all realize this in a few weeks yourselves.
you literally get an infinite # of the aspects for free if you do the dungeons.

@@zanido9073 The aspects you imprint are bad versions of aspects. They roll on lowest end. They get the Job done but to push content you will need to extract from found loot with high rolls

I find I'm spending way too much time analyzing items and figuring out what to use. During the last major story campaign I remember teleporting back to town to analyze the items and sell a few times because I collected so much loot before the final fight with Lilith - these were not short breaks, they took a while... it was like "Uh, sorry Lorath, Donan, and Neyrelle, I know we're just about to fight Lilith in the final battle, but can you guys wait here for 30 mins while I go to town and sell? Thanks!"
Same. Also had a good laugh when Lilith said something along the lines of "I could keep you trapped in this forever..." and I was like ..."Ok, but you do realize my town portal still works in here, right?"

weird i have 12 potions at lvl 58 to your 9 at 82. 22 mil gold can be gone in a matter of moments with imbuing and whatnot.
THIS GUY IS WRONG. You cannot use aspects from the same item type, sacred aspects for sacred, ancestral for ancestral and normal for normal.
DO NOT - save your regular aspects past level 40, use them carelessly
DO NOT - save your sacred aspects past level 55, use them only if necessary (the cost is great, and is worth saving)
DO - save your sacred aspects forever

Hang on, so in the closed beta last year you couldn't take a regular aspect and put it on a sacred item. You're telling me they changed that?!?! If so that is awesome because that was one thing I complained about and put in the final survey sent to Blizz!

You have to be level 50 to get into Tier 3 mode, so you might as well take on the capstone dungeon 49-50. You need both to unlock the Tier 3 mode. Next is level 70 and another dungeon.

My biggest mistake was accidently salvaging all of my weapons early game and almost had to restart the character. Not enough gold to buy one😂😭. Thank god for the gambling NPC

Don’t fall for the FOMO all these streamers and TH-camrs are promoting. There’s absolutely no reason for it. Take your time. Immerse yourself in the story and the world. You’ll get much more out of the game if you do.
Yes, people can play how they want, but “influencers” stirring up nonstop FOMO to race to END GAME (emphasis on THE END) are a true cancer in modern day gaming. You will miss so much and be left with a truly hollow experience if you listen to them. Until you’ve played through and fully immersed yourself in the campaign and world at least once, don’t bother racing to THE END until seasons kick off
