Thank you so much for your video. Im getting ready to start training tomorrow, at your current airline. This is my first time in flight attendant training, I was really stressing until I saw this video. Much Love !
can you wear whatever you want during the water evacuation? I am so worried because I have tattoos! I purchased a lot of coverup makeup and I heard people do use it, but I wanted to hear your take on that part if you have any insight
Yea during both the trainings they really didn't care about tattoos, so both times I wore a tshirt, a sports bra with some spandex...and they didn't care about my tattoos showing
Your videos have helped me so much I am going to training next week ! Can I get some more Advice please I’m going to training for spirit :) How’s the test are all of them written? Do I need a laptop for training? Did you bring a carry on size suite case or a big one that you need to check in for training ? Does the hotels have laundry Matt’s or how did you wash your clothes ? Do they provide a shuttle to take you to stores ? And any other advice would be great please thank you
Hopefully I’m not too late but congratulations on your new journey and good luck going through training so as far as my luggage I did check luggage I brought primarily the uniforms that they required us to wear along with some comfortable clothes a few pair of jeans for whenever we had Jean days. I went to training with Spirit like two years ago so I don’t know if it’s changed but we had like written test but they were all multiple-choice(except for schematics). you don’t need a laptop they give you a tablet to work off of. If you do study better with one then that’s up to you. For laundry days the hotels had a few washing machines and dryers I think at one point I think they were taking people to laundromats, I just wash my clothes in the hotels either really early in the mornings or really late at night. Also every hotel is different they had three different classes with three different hotels so this is just the experience I had. The hotel i was at was surrounded by stores and walking distance from everywhere so we walked anywhere we had to go. shuttles didnt take us anywhere but to the airport. If you did have to go somewhere that was beyond walking distance we’d have to call a Lyft or Uber or if somebody in your class drove we would ride with them. Just focus and try not to get overwhelmed if you need to take a break when you’re at the hotel go out to eat enjoy the experience. go in knowing the material they gave you prior to training so you don’t have to worry about it when it comes to those particular test days. Stay out of drama cus at the end of the day you’re there for a job meeting friends is just an extra bonus. Again good luck!!!👍🏾🤞🏾🤞🏾
Hi, My first question is: As a FA may I work with MY GLASSES ON? I need my glasses to READ, having some VISION ISSUE! Glasses PERMITTED during a flight as Flight Attendant? Thanks for your feedback. Hi, I am about to begin my FA training! My 2nd question is about the telephon provider roaming fees!As iI will be traveling overseas, fees are 15$ per day!How to skip such expences , at least reduce the amounts?Setting the telephone in Airplane Mode interrupts calls and messages. Thanks for your feedback!
So hello thanks for the questions and congrats on your new career!!!! So yes you can wear glasses i am also visually challenged lol and i wouldn’t be any good without mines. And as far as your roaming fees if i were you I’d go to your provider and see if they have any international phone plans where you won’t be charged as much for paying every time you go out of the country.
it depends on the airline...but for spirit I knew right away and the company im with now, around the 3rd week of training i found out. And it just depends on which Crashpad you end up staying at, some ask for a deposit some don't...i think most asks to see you work ID as proof that you do work in the airline industry. but everything else is dependent of that particular Crashpad.
@@TyttwinD awesome. Thanks! I start training in 2 weeks and heard that my base that I preferred which is where i currently live it isn’t being offered so im freaking out 😭
Congrats just be prepared for a lot of info at once and if you start to get overwhelmed just take a min and breath…if you don’t understand ask questions.
My transfer got approved right out of training but the transfers are usually 3months out and for the Crashpad situation there are Facebook pages you can go on and will have crash pads for every/all cities..also crew rooms will have crash pads posted up on bulletins that you can call.
I made it to the F2F for your new airline as well as another legacy line and unfortunately got TBNTs, I currently work for your old airline. I don’t know what I do wrong when I interview for these legacy lines, it’s almost like I’m too bubbly or something. Any suggestions on what they’re possibly looking for?
Just be yourself because they can feel it when you are not and also sometimes being too bubbly can come across like you are nervous and not grounded. Take deep breaths and observer the recruiter's energy and see what they are like and come down to their level but still be your true authentic self. I hope this helps.
I think its less about what you did wrong and all about the timing, for the longest i applied to mainlines and would make it pretty far in the interviews and the timing was never right and something would happen or they wouldn't choose me for whatever reason...just keep trying if you want to end up at a mainline and don't become discouraged because trust i know its easy to. And from experience where you work now isn't to bad, a great starter airline and its helped me appreciate where im at more now and where i started.

aww thank you...I've missed being on here!!!
We missed you !!!! Welcome back
Congrats over at the red, white and blue. 😉 ✈ Al
What airline do you work for if you don't mind me asking?
What is a crash pad
A crash pad is a house where airline employees will rent out a bed in a house. I go into more detail in my commuting video

Hi! How soon into training did you receive your base? And what’s asked upfront to stay at crashpads

@@TyttwinD oh okay i see!! Im just worried crash pads will ask for a huge deposit, or if it’s a monthly thing
And if/or if they check credit
@@jasminerangel8795 so no I've never seen a deposit over maybe $150. and usually they just take it cashapp, Zelle, etc.

Don't want to be to nivasive, but between your old airline and your new airline which would you say is 'better'?
Do you have to have your passport before applying? And how long after denied can you reapply ?
I am headed to training tomorrow I’m so scared !! Any advice ?

How long after your interview did training start?
@@BossLux I interviewed January 26th cjo offered and I am in training now . Which started 2/28
@@dejathompson1010 oh nice!! I have my CJO now, but haven’t heard anything back since. Lol kinda just waiting in limbo 🥴 how’s training going?
How long did it take you to get an approved transfer and how was the process for getting a crash pad?

@@TyttwinD okay great. Thank you so much.
Does the company book and pay for your hotel upfront once you start working as a flight attendant and are in between flights?
Yea so while you’re on a trip the company pays for the hotels and that’s already taken care of by time you get to your layover destination
@@TyttwinD I really appreciate you taking the time out to answer my question. Your videos have been super helpful to me! ❤
I wanted to know do they pay for your hotel stays
While you’re on a trip yes
Which airlines are hiring ?
Dying to work with AA😩
When can we get another flight attendant vlog?
im trying to stay under the radar while on probation but i may slip one out soon🤫
