i also woke up to do my schoolwork and my computer didn't turn on so my mother told my dad tha we should get another smarter computer and i got a new acer computer
You are a life saver and a $$ saver too. I really thought my laptop was gone lol I almost ended up calling the repair guy. Thank you for sharing this video!
im having the same issue now with my hp laptop it is not turning on i have tried all the options but they didn’t work the only solution left is to check the battery . i m waiting for a acrew driver tomorrow to open it the cover of my laptop if it didn’t work then i will go for repair shop
I didn’t remove the battery or change the cable. I went straight to keeping power button pressed for a minute without the power lines plugged in. While power button was pressed, I saw light on Caps Lock button turn on and off. Then I released the power button, plugged the power line and pressed the power button normally. It worked🎉
Thank you Daniel! It helped! HP 820 G3 (it might help someone else - always disconnect the battery before adding another RAM module, I forgot O:-) and then had to look for help - found here.
Thanks for the video, but my issue is still not solved 😔 my HP elite book 8570p battery is okay fully charged but won't still on with the on button but Immediately I connect it to light it on and when I remove the charger it still retain, how do I solve that please.
I was looking for a fix for my laptop not charging and closing down. I watched your vlog anyway. You reminded me that the basics need checking first. I took out the battery, put it back, closed it. Now, it's working. Thank you for the inspiration.
Welli tried that several times tried starting it with just cable power after the 60 second blow out no start put battery back in same thing. All these easy fixes never work for me I had a new battery installed. Couple months prior to this happening. Power cord seems to delivering power but nit sure little light on the start button comes on for a short period of time then goes out
Permanent solution, if this is a repeat issue, you need to have that laptop checked out and see maybe it needs a new power adapter, new battery or motherboard repaired or replaced. Possible memory issue. It needs to be tested out to confirm what the problem is.
Recently had this issue with my Pavillion, which has an internal battery. I unplugged it, held the power button for one full minute, and replugged. Fired right up. Another video I watched, explained that this process releases static build-up.
I'm not able to give specific troubleshooting steps in chat but this video should work for that model as well. Otherwise it's something with the motherboard that needs repair or replacing
Many models are different and some are internal batteries that require removing a few screws. Some have a pinhole to press which does the reset. Sorry I can't offer free support here. Just quick advise when I can.
Sorry this didn't work for you. I don't offer troubleshooting via chats here, it can be time consuming and I must charge for my time. You may need to hire someone but you cans start with trying a new power cord.
Hello my hp 255 g7 got wet and after 3 day it turned back on but now it only works for about an hour and turns off and wont turn back on until the next day
That's a very odd scenario. I'm not sure if maybe just waiting a few more days it needs to air dry longer. Leave it open upside down for another day. if still doesn't work right, you might need someone to look at it. Possibly a fan is not working and it's over heating now.
It's possible if a bad connection, it might have fried the DC jack and it may need replacing which may need soldering onto the board, or it could be a plug in type. you might need a local repair shop for that.
My battery lasts about 4hrs on full charge. But if I let it discharge to zero when the PC goes off it won't turn back on, won't charge, won't respond to the charger being plugged in, it practically dies. So to revive it I have to borrow a charged battery connect it to my PC turn on the PC and disconnect the borrowed battery while PC remains on and replace with my battery. That's the only way it turns back on. So what would cause that and what's the solution. PC model HP elitebook 735 G5
Thanks for your comment. That sounds to me like some sort of issue with your battery. Even though your battery can last 4 hours, your computer won't start while plugged in with your battery in, but it will with someone elses battery, although their battery is charged. I would suggest seeing if your computer can turn on with no battery plugged in at all, then plugging your battery back in. if your computer can't start with no battery at all, then it's not a battery issue, it's some odd motherboard issue that needs a tech to look at.
If this video didn't help flushing power, it's maybe a bad power cord, bad battery, or motherboard issue. if it appears on but screen black, try plugging in an external monitor to confirm if just screen needs replacing.
Blinking light could be a troubleshooting code. Check if 2 short, 1 long, or something like that. Then lookup that flash code (if there is one) for your make/model. Could be bad memory or motherboard issue.
Tablets can be more challenging because they have a built in battery. You may have to just hold down the power button longer, or worst case you have to do a factory reset. Instructions depend on make/model which you'd have to lookup online.
My laptop stopped suddenly and nothing works, not even charging. I tried all the tutorials on youtube, nothing. Hp n220sq 😢 when I press the power button, the charging LED flashes 3 times and that's it, nothing else.😢
if it flashes 3 times, that apparently means bad battery. Make sure you try powering on with only the power cord and no battery. If still doesn't work, maybe the charging adapter or port needs repair.
Sorry to hear this when it's so new. It should be under warranty still. usually just flushing the power, removing the battery, trying with power cord only or just battery only. Maybe you need to replace battery and/or power cord. Borrow a universal power charger and try it.
Sorry, it won't fix everyone's issue but it does fix it most of the time. if not the battery or power adapter, power source. Maybe DC Jack is bad and/or needs motherboard repair.
Sorry I only saw this now. if laptop doesn't work without battery and cable plugged in, that means it's not that battery, so a new battery would not help.
Just tried holding down the power button while the laptop is unplugged; about a minute. Worked like a charm! Thank you so much!!
Perfect! Glad it worked for you. You're welcome.
Thank u so much it worked for me as well 😘

Sounds like maybe the motherboard shorted out. If you don't already plug into a surge protector, I strongly recommend as a good preventive measure.
Thank you very much! It worked.
Glad it helped
On my probook 650g1 the light indicator's (yellow and white+power button) stay on when I plug in battery or power supply and not responding😢
That's sounds like an issue with the motherboard but would need to be looked at to confirm.
Thank you

worked, thanks

No battery inside, its blinking light, impossible to turn it on
What can i do ?
Blinking light could be a troubleshooting code. Check if 2 short, 1 long, or something like that. Then lookup that flash code (if there is one) for your make/model. Could be bad memory or motherboard issue.
@@TwinBytesInc ok thank you I will check
You're welcome
My laptop works after what u said but i turn it off from the power button the problem restarts again can anyone help me
Sounds like a larger problem we can't troubleshoot in chat. may need new battery or power adapter.
@TwinBytesInc yeah I know but the laptop works very well the problem is just this in opening and turning off
How about the same issue with an HP tablet?
Tablets can be more challenging because they have a built in battery. You may have to just hold down the power button longer, or worst case you have to do a factory reset. Instructions depend on make/model which you'd have to lookup online.
@@TwinBytesInc I have no problem doing a reset. So, just downloading and then installing Android x86 will work on a Tablet?

It worked
Awesome!
This solved a real emergency I had when my HP laptop suddenly went black right before my granddaughter had a zoom class from France
Awesome! Glad it helped you out of an emergency.
My laptop doesn't turn on.. It makes the sound and lights up the buttons and goes off at the same time
Sounds like you might have a motherboard issue that needs someone to open it up and look closer for repair.
I just had to disconnect my whole charger from the battery and the cord and then plugged in my charger on the labtop and it turned on
Excellent!
This didn’t work for me. My computer is only a couple months old so I’m super frustrated.
Sorry to hear this when it's so new. It should be under warranty still. usually just flushing the power, removing the battery, trying with power cord only or just battery only. Maybe you need to replace battery and/or power cord. Borrow a universal power charger and try it.

You're welcome
All these videos say the same thing but it doesn't work for me😔
If this video doesn't work that means something that requires a technician to open the computer, check the hard drive, RAM, motherboard, etc.
Not working
Sorry, it won't fix everyone's issue but it does fix it most of the time. if not the battery or power adapter, power source. Maybe DC Jack is bad and/or needs motherboard repair.
My laptop wont turn on even without battery
if this video doesn't help and you tried plugging in a different outlet and a different power cordd, you may need a motherboard repair.
@@TwinBytesInc thanks, i am getting new battery replacement would that work?
Sorry I only saw this now. if laptop doesn't work without battery and cable plugged in, that means it's not that battery, so a new battery would not help.
YOU ARE THE BEST SHSGEGHSAEFH
Thank you
I will never buy an hp laptop i use one for my work a couple of times this workaround worked but now is the third time and this workaround is useless
