Good day Atty. In this video, I learned the Contents of Articles 6 to 11 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.
The first is Article 6. Everyone has the right to recognition everywhere as a person before the law. I learned that everyone has the right to identify as a human or person before the law. I learned here that even if a person is poor you shouldn’t look at the person as poor, because in the eyes of law, he is a human. Because all of humanity has the right to be rights to be happy even if he’s poor.
I also learned about Article 7. which says that All are equal before the law and are entitled without any discrimination to equal protection of the law. All are entitled to equal protection against any discrimination in violation of this Declaration and against any incitement to such discrimination. I learned that all people are equal in the eyes of the law. There’s no discrimination when it comes to the protection of the law. It means that the law should treat the poor people equally to rich people because you can’t see the worth of people in the value of their money because what we’re taking here is the rights of people it should be equal even if you’re poor or rich.
Next is Article 8. Everyone has the right to an effective remedy by the competent national tribunals for acts violating the fundamental rights granted him by the constitution or by the law. I learned here that everyone has the right to the effective remedy of our national tribunals for acts of violating the fundamental rights granted by law.
I also learned about Article 9. No one shall be subjected to arbitrary arrest, detention, or exile. I learned here that people shouldn’t experience arbitrary arrest. It means they arrest that people without any information or any legal reason and they can’t imprison you without reason that is placed in our law.
Next is Article 10. It says that everyone is entitled in full equality to a fair and public hearing by an independent and impartial tribunal, in the determination of his rights and obligation and of any criminal charge against him. I learned here that everyone has the right to have a fair public hearing and they don’t deserve a biased tribunal.
Last is Article 11. Everyone charged with a penal offense has the right to be presumed innocent until proved guilty according to the law in a public trial at which he has had all the guarantees necessary for his defense. I learned here that all of the accused have the right to be innocent until he does not prove guilty in court.
Next in Article 11, we have No one shall be held guilty of any penal offense on account of any act or omission which did not constitute a penal offense, under national or international law, at the time when it was committed. Nor shall a heavier penalty be imposed than the one that was applicable at the time the penal offense was committed. I also learned in this article that there’s no person should be guilty when it comes to action or “Hindi pag aksyon” that which is not punishable by law or there’s no crime like that. If it’s not in the law, the person should not be forbidden.

    Lesson #8
Blessed Day Atty.! Thankyou for your another video which is very interesting and informative. I gained knowledge and deeper understanding on the following provisions (Article 6-11) of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.
•According to the Article 6, of the UDHR. Everyone has the right to recognition everywhere as a person before the law. Each person is entitled on right to recognition, or he/she should be recognized as a person, a human being before the eyes of the law. All are entitled to equal protection against any discrimination in violation of this Declaration and against any incitement to such discrimination. For instance, a poor and rich person are equal in the eyes and protection of the law, if anyone of them committed a crime, there should be no discrimination in his/her person or status. Both of them have the same effects of punishment depending on the gravity of the crime they committed.
•According to the Article 8, of the UDHR. Everyone has the right to an effective remedy by the competent national tribunals for acts violating the fundamental rights granted him by the constitution or by law.
•According to the Article 9, of the UDHR. No one shall be subjected to arbitrary arrest, detention or exile. Any person should be free from being arrested without sufficient legal grounds, or he should not be detained and exiled for theses are absolutely prohibited.
•According to the Article 10, of the UDHR. Everyone is entitled in full equality to a fair and public hearing by an independent and impartial tribunal, in the determination of his rights and obligations and of any criminal charge against him.

    LESSON 7
Discuss the following provisions of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights:
    Article 6
Everyone has the right to recognition everywhere as a person before the law. Meaning even if a person is poor he should not be seen as poor, our law should look at him as a person because everyone deserves to get the rights that they deserved.
    Article 7
All are equal before the law and are entitled without any discrimination to equal protection of the law. All are entitled to equal protection against any discrimination in violation of this Declaration and against any incitement to such discrimination. Meaning we are all equal when it comes to the protection of the law, because the value of a person is not seen in the value of the money.
    Article 8
Everyone has the right to an effective remedy by the competent national tribunals for acts violating the fundamental rights granted him by the constitution or by law. Meaning each one of us has the right to an effective remedy we must know that always.
    Article 9
No one shall be subject to arbitrary arrest, detention or exile. Meaning it is not permissible to arrest a person especially if there is no sufficient reason.
    Article 10
Everyone is entitled in full equality to a fair and public hearing by an independent and impartial tribunal, in the determination of his rights and obligations and of any criminal charge against him. Meaning everyone deserves a full equality to a fair and public hearing because we are all human being and we also have the rights.
    Article 11
    (1) Everyone charged with a penal offense has the right to be presumed innocent until proved guilty according to law in a public trial at which he has had all the guarantees necessary for his defense. Meaning when a person is charged, as long as there is no final judgment he is still innocent.
    (2) No one shall be held guilty of any penal offense on account of any act or omission which did not constitute a penal offense, under national or international law, at the time when it was committed. Nor shall a heavier penalty be imposed than the one that was applicable at the time the penal offense was committed. Meaning it would not be a crime if there is no punitive law.
