It was mentioned in the video lecture that under section 4, Article 8 of the Philippine constitution, the supreme court shall be composed of a Chief Justice and fourteen Associate Justices. Moreover, this provision itself creates the supreme court. Also, it was mentioned that the whole of them is the one who had the authority to decide on the given controversies, for instance, constitutional cases. Good day Atty., Thank you for another insightful video lecture today. After watching the video, I learned the salient points on the supreme court, the court of appeals, and Sandigannayan. It was mentioned in the video lecture that under section 4, Article 8 of the Philippine constitution, the supreme court shall be composed of a Chief Justice and fourteen Associate Justices. Moreover, this provision itself creates the supreme court. Also, it was mentioned that the whole of them is the one who had the authority to decide on the given controversies, for instance, constitutional cases.
