Good day Atty., Thank you for another insightful video lecture today. After watching the video, I learned the salient points on the supreme court, the court of appeals, and Sandigannayan. It was mentioned in the video lecture that under section 4, Article 8 of the Philippine constitution, the supreme court shall be composed of a Chief Justice and fourteen Associate Justices. Moreover, this provision itself creates the supreme court. Also, it was mentioned that the whole of them is the one who had the authority to decide on the given controversies, for instance, constitutional cases. On the other hand, it was also stated in the video lecture the law created the court of appeals, specifically The Judiciary Reorganization Act of 1980. Also, Sandigangbayan is a special court created by Presidential Decree No. 1606. They are in charge of criminal cases involving bribery and corruption, as well as other crimes committed by public officials and employees. In accordance with the success of their service-related duties. There are a total of 15 sections, each with three justices. The Sandiganbayan and the Court of Appeals have the same position. Good day Atty., Thank you for another insightful video lecture today. After watching the video, I learned the salient points on the supreme court, the court of appeals, and Sandigannayan. It was mentioned in the video lecture that under section 4, Article 8 of the Philippine constitution, the supreme court shall be composed of a Chief Justice and fourteen Associate Justices. Moreover, this provision itself creates the supreme court. Also, it was mentioned that the whole of them is the one who had the authority to decide on the given controversies, for instance, constitutional cases. Good evening atty. as I watched this video I learned that sandiganbayan and court of appeals is equivalent but differ in the functionality because sandiganbayan held the cases of graft and corruption of the government officials while the court of appeal is a regular one.
