Caleb has become an integral part of KYD and will be missed by so many in the community. We understand that feeling-believe us!-and appreciate your concern for our family over the years. Yet, this is what is supposed to happen, and we're excited for Caleb to spread his wings and live on his own. The good news is, you won't have to wait long before he shows up again! We have another ride scheduled in October, and between the holidays and summer break, we suspect there will still be plenty of adventures with Caleb.

I see that we all cried. Not surprised at all considering how much we love that boy! He’s entertained us most Sundays nights for years & we’ll miss him. But excited for him too. I hope his roommate understands what a lucky guy he is getting such an awesome roommate

When Caleb was holding his mom by the shoulders to stop the goodbye hug, it just got me in the feels. You guys raised 3 terrific kids. Now go have some fun and keep busy.
I must confess that I sobbed throughout this video. We became empty nesters 10 years ago, and all those memories came flooding back and felt so raw. You have done a fabulous job and they'll come back because of that. We'll certainly miss Caleb, but we are so excited to see what's next for all of you!! Much love from us. You feel like family!

When Trish put her head down as you drove away from Liberty… 😭😭😭. Our oldest daughter leaves for college next year and that got all the tears flowing. Y’all have done an outstanding job at raising 3 amazing young adults.

Oh man am I gonna miss Caleb’s hilarious sense of humor. Ever since he was a little kid he had an AMAZING sense of humor. Mark, no pressure but, it’s on you now. Caleb, welcome to VA. You’re gonna love it here. Lynchburg is a little sleepy town but there’s always Charlottesville. I have a friend whose kids all went through Liberty and they loved it. Best wishes!!
Did not turn my son's bedroom light out for 3 weeks when he left for college..I had 18 years to teach him..now it's up to him.. thank you for sharing your family with us what a ride.
Literally crying with Trish when she looked down as you all drove away from campus. Thank you both so much for sharing your wonderful family times with us all these years. Watching your kids leave the nest one by one made me relive when my kids moved up and out and seeing Caleb go away to school …. Sniffle…..Caleb’s antics and humor over the years were so much fun to watch and to see him take the next step towards adulthood is very satisfying, and I hope he has as much fun there as he had all these years traveling along with y’all. You guys are amazing together and I can’t wait for the next chapter to unfold!

I almost didn’t click on this video because it said empty nesters! Mark, you were supposed to not let Caleb leave us! He don’t need no stinkin college education! What are we going to do without our precious Caleb? I was crying with you Trish! Then you show us the darn montage & open the flood gates wide open! This is heart wrenching! Camp Counselor Caleb was my favorite! All kidding aside, you have brought all of us nothing but pure joy as we have watched you grow into the incredible young man that you are! Empty back seat, Charlie now has it all to himself. It's tough dropping the youngest off at the curb. I cried so hard had to pull over a couple blocks away. Good luck to Caleb's next chapter.

Our boys bought a home together and both left our home on the same day,,, I thought my heart was going to burst. But I was so happy and proud of them. Seeing this video brought all those memories back and I was crying for you and Marc. I LOVED the clips of Caleb , so special. LOVE YOUR CHANNEL.

My heart goes out to you guys. My 2 beautiful homeschooled daughters have flown the cooper. The oldest didnt leave permanently until just a year ago. It really hurts but God has a plan for them and for us too! Lean on your Lord and be sure to lean on each other. You are a precious family with many adventures ahead of you all!
Oh my gosh, hugs and love to you both. This is the proudest and saddest day. Caleb will be missed. This is the best advertisement for start now and start where you are because once the time goes it's gone. Thanks for helping us all prioritize and make all these memories now. We have the same family 1 girl and two boys. Our youngest started kindergarten this year. Our youngest is so much like Caleb. We savor all the time we have with our kids and you really help remind me to reset this mindset every week.
I am going to miss Caleb... such a fun guy, pray he has a wonderful college experience! And I am tearing up.

I have watched your channel for years and feel like friends but never but the bullet to buy the camper …. Until she moved away. Gotta get close to her some how. Camping life here we come.
We are all crying having to say goodbye to Caleb. I know exactly what Trish was going through, somehow leaving the last one is harder than leaving the first or second. Caleb, maybe you can Zoom some visits from your dorm to keep us updated and laughing. Blessings to you as you enter this next part of your life journey.

Caleb is truly amazing to watch!!! I’ve also taken three kids to college. Each one was hard but that last one was a whole new level of emotional!! They are now all out of college and on their own and I’m living the dream. My husband and I retired June 1st and have been full time on the road🎉. By the way yours was the first RV TH-cam video I watched when I got this crazy idea, and I’m still watching❤️. I’ve learned a lot of what to do and not to do from Mark!!! Saw my boy off to the Naval Academy in 2016. He is my one and only. Very hard to see him go. This video brought it all back! Tears for you guys but also know you will love seeing him spread his wings. Will miss watching him spread his joy.

We have been looking forward each week since your trip to Mexico. We loved his zest for whatever was happening at that moment. The empty nest, the day my daughter left for college my wife cried for 4 hours. Caleb will be missed, for his witty manner, and good-hearted banter. Caleb is a fine young man, y'all have done well. We all will miss Caleb. Great ending video of memories, I watched it over maybe 5 times.

I feel your pain, M & T. We just dropped off our only child 3 weeks ago at University of Alabama. It is tough to process that it is now just the two of you. But, God is good and faithful. Praying for comfort to blow over you both like a hurricane force wind.
Oh, my. I remember when my youngest went off to college. (floods of tears) However, the empty nest isn't the end of life. It can be a new beginning of something different--a time when a husband and wife re-connect and make some memories of of their own.
Liberty... You beak my heart. I have been with KYD since episode one. So much inspiration in my own life. But Liberty... It is affiliated with and represents a segment of America that does not want myself or my family to even exist. I feel like I have missed something vital about KYD. I feel... betrayed. I should not because we are strangers to each other. But through this channel I have felt connected. Now I feel wasted and sad. This is the the wages of hate, and Liberty represents hate to me and my family.

My daughter has been in the Army for 8 years. Just a few months after High School she was in basic. It was the toughest day of my life. Thank your son for his service, from this Army mom.
